Abstract

With the increasing amount of waste, there is a need for proper waste management techniques that are safe for the environment and life. Eco enzymes are made from the fermentation of organic waste derived from fruit and vegetable waste. The principle of the process of making eco enzymes is similar to the process of making compost as a growth medium so that the final product produced can be obtained in liquid form. The floor is one of the places that can be associated with the transmission of various diseases or the spread of microorganisms. Efforts that can be made by keeping the floor clean are by providing disinfectants when mopping. The purpose of this study was to determine whether eco enzymes can be utilized as a floor disinfectant in reducing the number of germs. This research is a pre-experiment type using one group of subjects, namely the floor and examining the number of germs before and after applying eco enzymes to the floor. How to do it by mopping the floor with eco enzyme liquid on the ceramic floor at home and swabbing the floor before and after mopping. The results showed that from the examination of the floor before the application of eco eznym in the morning, the results were 3,0 × 103 colonies/cm2, at noon as many as 4,4 × 103 colonies/cm2, and in the afternoon as many as 5,1 × 102 colonies/cm2. Examination of the number of germs on the floor after the application of eco enzymes in the morning obtained a result of 1,4 × 101 colonies/cm2, at noon as much as < 1,0 × 100 colonies/cm2, and in the afternoon as much as < 1,0 × 100 colonies/cm2. The conclusion in this study states that the decrease in the number of germs on the floor after administration reaches 99.9% and eco enzymes can be utilized as a floor disinfectant

Abstract

Background.Acinetobacter baumannii is a multidrug-resistant (MDR) Gram-negative pathogen commonly associated with wound infections, particularly in hospital and battlefield settings. Due to its resistance to multiple antibiotic classes, treatment options are limited. Colistin (polymyxin E), a last-resort antibiotic, has been reintroduced for treating MDR A. baumannii infections. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of colistin against A. baumannii isolated from wound contamination cases. Methods: A total of (30) wound swabs were collected from patients with clinical signs of infection. Isolation and identification of (10) isolations of A. baumannii and (20) were different species. A. baumannii conducted using standard microbiological and biochemical methods, followed by confirmation via Vitek 2 compact. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) was performed using the Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method, and colistin minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) was determined by broth microdilution following CLSI/EUCAST guidelines. Results: According to this study on Acinetobacter baumannii, the bacteria might stop the bacteria's development at various colistin concentrations. In contrast to 500 µg/ml, the higher concentration (1000 µg/ml) generated a wider zone of inhibition, indicating dose-dependent antibacterial action. A wider zone of inhibition was seen at the higher concentration, suggesting dose-dependent antibacterial action. The study also discovered that following skin damage, skin cells progressively restored to their original architecture, however inflammatory cells and cellular debris persisted. Significant necrosis was seen in the second group, suggesting a serious inflammatory reaction. The third group displayed epidermal cell regeneration, with the group that received 1000 µg/ml of colistin exhibiting more noticeable regeneration. Conclusion: Colistin remains a highly effective antibiotic against MDR A. baumannii in wound infections. However, its use should be monitored due to the risk of emerging resistance and potential nephrotoxicity. Regular surveillance and antibiotic stewardship programs are essential to preserve their efficacy

Abstract

Background: Completeness of medical information is critical in ensuring diagnosis code accuracy. The purpose of this study is to look at the relationship between medical information completeness and diagnosis code correctness in BPJS Patient Inpatient Medical Record Documents. Subjects and Methods: This form of research employs both quantitative and correlational methodologies. The sample consisted of 83 documents chosen at random. Chi-square was employed to analyse the data. Results: The ratio of complete medical information is 60%, whereas incomplete medical information is 40%. Medical resumes with 19 papers had the highest percentage of incompleteness (23%). The accuracy of hospital record diagnostic codes is 40%, while inaccuracies are 60%. Inaccuracies in diagnosis codes are generated by a variety of circumstances, including wrongly defining the major diagnosis, officers being less cautious, and providing inadequate support. The chi square statistical test results in p = 0.0019. Conclusion: there is a correlation between the completeness of medical information and the accuracy of diagnosis codes in BPJS patient inpatient records. The author recommends that health professionals be more attentive when entering medical information, coders follow fundamental ICD 10 rules, and institutions provide coder training to ensure that coding activities operate smoothly.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the serious health problems. Management there are 2 ways that is pharmacological and non pharmacological. Nonfarmakologis way by exercising regularly one of them yoga practice. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of yoga practice on changes in blood pressure in Karanganom Village Durenan Trenggalek year 2018. The design of this research is Pre Experimental, with the design of "One Group Pretest-Posttest Design" .The population of this study were all patients of hypertension present in the village with purposive sampling technique in get 20 peoples samples. The data were collected on 12-17 March 2018 by observing blood pressure before being given yoga practice, after being given yoga exercises for 6 days in a row and processed with stage Editing, Coding, Scoring, and Tabulating stage and analyzed using Paired t- test. From the results of the study showed that before given the prectice of yoga the avarage systolic blood pressure is 150,75 mmHg and diastolic 93 mmHg.After being given an avarage yoga practice systolic blood pressure is 147 mmHg and diastolic 90 mmHg. Test Paired t-test results obtained Pvalue systolic blood pressure that is 0,012<0,05 and Pvalue at diastolic blood pressure that is 0,014<0,05 (ρ <0,05 then H0 is rejected and Hı accepted). This means that there is a statistically significant influence of yoga practice on changes in blood pressure (systolic and diatolic) in hypertensive patients in Karanganom Durenan Trenggalek Village. Yoga exercises one of the physical activities that can overcome hypertension by working to reduce the rhythm of the body and stabilize the heartbeat, lighten the heart and maximize the blood circulation so that blood pressure can be stable or decreased. So it is important for hypertensive patients to do regular physical exercise.

Abstract

Objective: Autism spectrum disorder [ASD] is characterized by impairments in emotional, social, and cognitive areas and is considered a neurodevelopmental disorder. These children often exhibit stereotypical and repetitive manners that may be inconsistent with their inner physiological cadence, leading to disturbances in the Wake-up and sleep cycle. This study aimed to investigate the serum Orexin A, 5-HT, glutamate, and oxidative stress status and compare the values with those of healthy controls. Methods: This study included 40 participants, 20 patients, and 20 controls. The samples of children with ASD were obtained from the AL-Shatra unit of Autism Care//Thi Qar. Children taking medication and those with neurological diseases were excluded from the study. Serum orexin A, 5-HT, glutamate, NO, and albumen levels were assessed in all participants. Results: The means of serum orexin A, 5-HT, glutamate, and NO levels of patients with ASD were significantly higher than those of the control group (p <0.05). However, serum GSH and albumen levels were lower among the cases than the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: orexin A, 5-HT, and glutamate measurements taken together may even be utilized as markers for the development of sleep and eating disorders and insomnia. The rising levels of orexin A in uncontrolled autism spectrum disorder may be a cause of rising BMI. This assessment may be beneficial in developing an appropriate treatment plan for these children. This assessment may be instrumental in developing an appropriate treatment plan for these children and may form the basis for developing and directing targeted treatment in the future.
