Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve science learning achievement in the material Classification of Animals based on their Food through the Scientific approach with the Make A MActh Strategy for grade V 1st semester students of SDN Batiombo 02, Bandar District, Batang Regency, 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a Classroom Action Research through three learning processes carried out through pre-cycle stages on October 22, Cycle I on November 16, 2020 and Cycle II on November 23, 2020. The results of learning improvements are from the initial conditions before the action only 3 students ( 30%) who completed with KKM 70, in the first cycle learning completeness increased to 10 students (67%). Through cycle II student learning completeness again increased to 14 students (93%) of the total number of grade 5 students.Thus, through the scientific approach, Make A Macth strategy can increase students' understanding of Animal Classification material based on food in grade V semester 1 SDN Batiombo 02 District Bandar Batang Regency Academic Year 2020/2021.

Abstract

In the initial quarter of 2024, the percentage of pregnant women with anemia receiving ANC at TPMB Jamila in RW. 03 South Jakarta was recorded at 11% (31 individuals out of 279 pregnant women). Addressing this issue, an approach to tackle anemia in pregnant mothers involves education and intervention. This community initiative aims to enlighten pregnant women about the significance of consuming iron-rich foods and enhancing iron absorption to mitigate anemia during pregnancy. The endeavor involves data collection, identifying priority concerns, developing educational materials, and providing product interventions. Evaluation is conducted through discussions and Q&A sessions. A total of 14 pregnant women and 6 additional participants, including lecturers, midwives, and cadres, engaged in the counseling sessions, which were carried out collaboratively with team members. Notably, participants exhibited high levels of enthusiasm and participation throughout the activities

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika siswa pada materi Pecahan sederhana di Kelas III A SDN 1 Bengkalis dengan menggunakan media audiovisual. Hal tersebut didasari oleh kurangnya aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran berlangsung yang berimbas kepada hasil belajar siswa yang kurang pula. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukan selama II siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dengan tahap masing-masing siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan guru dalam mengajar pada siklus I memperoleh skor 39 yang masuk dalam kategori baik (B), pada siklus II memperoleh skor 48 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik (SB), dan terjadi peningkatan lagi pada siklus II dengan mendapatkan skor 47 yang masuk dalam kategori sangat baik (SB). Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh skor 16 yang masuk dalam kategori baik (B), kemudian meningkat pada siklus I pertemuan 2 memperoleh skor 20 yang termasuk dalam kategori baik (B), dan terjadi peningkatan lagi pada siklus II dengan mendapatkan skor 24 yang masuk dalam kategori sangat baik (SB). Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siswa, siklus I pertemuan 1, diperoleh persentase ketuntasan 66%, pada siklus I pertemuan 2 diperoleh 69 %, dan pada siklus II diperoleh 97%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the learning strategies used by teachers in guiding the practice of Islamic teachings among students at SDN 2 Galagamba. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that teachers use a variety of learning strategies, methods, and techniques, such as card match, reading aloud, card sorting, inquiry, group discussion, simulation, demonstration, and "everyone is a teacher here." These strategies facilitate students' active involvement in the learning process so that they can understand Islamic Religious Education subject matter in depth and practice the values ??of religious teachings in everyday life. Students are able to understand the subject matter well, answer questions, do assignments, read the Koran with correct recitation, believe in the pillars of faith, show commendable behavior, avoid disgraceful actions, understand Islamic law regarding food sources, and understand the history of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and history of Islamic da'wah. The findings of this research are in line with the principles of effective learning, constructivist learning theory, and previous research. However, there is still room for improvement and refinement of learning practices in the future, such as the development of more innovative and contextual strategies, increasing teacher skills, more active student involvement, integration of holistic learning approaches, and continuous evaluation and reflection. The success of Islamic religious education also requires support from various parties, such as the government, schools, parents, and society.

Abstract

This study aims to explore effective strategies for improving teachers' pedagogical competence to strengthen learners' character education at the primary school level. The research method used was a literature study with a qualitative approach. Primary and secondary data were obtained from books, documents, and journals that were of the same relevance as this research. After the data was obtained, the data analysis technique for this research used content analysis. The results of the study found that teachers must master educational technology to improve teaching effectiveness and student engagement. It involved using digital tools for assessment, teaching, and communication with students and parents. Teachers needed to develop 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. These skills were important to help students become individuals who are ready to face future challenges. Teachers should apply an adaptive pedagogical approach, tailoring teaching methods to students' individual needs, interests and abilities. It includes differentiated learning, formative assessment and the use of adaptive technology. Character education should be integrated in the curriculum by teaching universal and contextual values. A holistic approach, including project- and problem-based learning, is important to develop a strong student character relevant to modern challenges. Continuous professional training and development for teachers is key to ensuring they are up-to-date with best practices and innovations in education. This involves workshops, online courses, mentoring and collaboration within communities of practice. Modern assessment and reflection are important for monitoring student progress and evaluating teaching effectiveness. The use of formative and summative assessments, technology in assessment, and regular reflection by teachers and students can improve the quality of learning. Collaboration with parents, communities, educational institutions, government and non-profit organizations can strengthen character education and support teachers' pedagogical competencies.

Abstract

Adolescents are the next generation of the nation, in Indonesia Adolescents have a considerable proportion. But juvenile delinquency is increasingly worrying, among others, free sex. This is because not yet the maximum sex education provided to adolescents, including information media. In health education the media has an important influence in delivering information. Mind Mapping was chosen as a medium in delivering sex education information. This study aims to determine the effect of giving sex education with media mind mapping to knowledge Research was conducted at SMPN 1 Bandung Tulungagung on February 4 - 12, 2018 to 50 respondents. Design Experimental with pre test - post test design. The population of all class VIII students with simple random sampling technique was in accordance with the inclusion criteria. The results showed that before being given sex education as many as 21 respondents had good grades. after being given sex education brain mopping 33 respondents had good grades. The Wilcoxon Test Sign Rank Test results show a value of p 0,000 (p <α) which means H0 is rejected. Brain mopping is more attractive to the brain because of the use of images, colors and keywords. It is recommended for further researchers to further examine the use of educational aids media.

Abstract

Gout is one of very painful arthritis disease which caused by the solid crystals within the joint. Uric acid can be treated by one of non-pharmacological therapies namely Dry Cupping therapy. Dry Cupping is kind of cupping therapy that does not followed by excretion of blood. Dry Cupping is suitable for people who cannot withstand of needle injection, incision and blood phobia. The research aimed to know the effect of Dry Cupping therapy toward the reduction of uric acid level at Griya Terapi Amuskin Besuki Tulungagung.The researcher used pre-experimental research with one-group Pretest and Post-test design. The population sample contained all of the uric acid patients in Griya Terapi Amuskin Besuki Tulungagung. The researcher conducted accidental sampling technique which contained of 25 people. Dry Cupping therapy was used as the Independent variable and the reduction of uric acid levels was used as the dependent variable of this study. The data was analyzed by wilcoxon signed rank test. The result showed that there was an effect of Dry Cupping therapy toward the reduction of uric acid level at Griya Terapi Amuskin Besuki Tulunganggung. It was showed by P value = 0,000 and α = 0,05 which mean (P < 0,05). It concludes that Dry Cupping therapy helps the reduction of uric acid levels. It was caused by the cumulation of moist pathogens within the meridian. Therefore, the pathogens are cleaned by detoxification process and wind exertion. Thus, cupping therapy is needed for the alternative way of reducing the uric acid levels.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS masih menjadi masalah kesehatan global, termasuk di Indonesia. Salah satu tantangan terbesar dalam penanggulangan HIV/AIDS adalah adanya stigma dan diskriminasi terhadap Orang dengan HIV (ODHIV). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai HIV/AIDS dan mengurangi stigma terhadap ODHIV melalui edukasi kesehatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 Desember 2024, melibatkan 80 peserta dari kalangan mahasiswa serta petugas Kesehatan dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tulungagung dan KPA Tulungagung. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah interaktif, media visual, dan diskusi, dengan pengukuran pre-test dan post-test menggunakan kuesioner berbasis ISMI. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dari 32% menjadi 79% setelah edukasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa edukasi yang tepat dapat meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat dan mengurangi stigma terhadap ODHIV. Kegiatan ini sejalan dengan upaya mendukung pencapaian target Three Zero: nol infeksi baru, nol kematian akibat AIDS, dan nol diskriminasi.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the serious health problems. Management there are 2 ways that is pharmacological and non pharmacological. Nonfarmakologis way by exercising regularly one of them yoga practice. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of yoga practice on changes in blood pressure in Karanganom Village Durenan Trenggalek year 2018. The design of this research is Pre Experimental, with the design of "One Group Pretest-Posttest Design" .The population of this study were all patients of hypertension present in the village with purposive sampling technique in get 20 peoples samples. The data were collected on 12-17 March 2018 by observing blood pressure before being given yoga practice, after being given yoga exercises for 6 days in a row and processed with stage Editing, Coding, Scoring, and Tabulating stage and analyzed using Paired t- test. From the results of the study showed that before given the prectice of yoga the avarage systolic blood pressure is 150,75 mmHg and diastolic 93 mmHg.After being given an avarage yoga practice systolic blood pressure is 147 mmHg and diastolic 90 mmHg. Test Paired t-test results obtained Pvalue systolic blood pressure that is 0,012<0,05 and Pvalue at diastolic blood pressure that is 0,014<0,05 (ρ <0,05 then H0 is rejected and Hı accepted). This means that there is a statistically significant influence of yoga practice on changes in blood pressure (systolic and diatolic) in hypertensive patients in Karanganom Durenan Trenggalek Village. Yoga exercises one of the physical activities that can overcome hypertension by working to reduce the rhythm of the body and stabilize the heartbeat, lighten the heart and maximize the blood circulation so that blood pressure can be stable or decreased. So it is important for hypertensive patients to do regular physical exercise.
