The Journal is published by Diploma 3 Nursing study programme in Sidoarjo, Health Polytechnic of Surabaya, Ministry of Health Indonesia. The role of the Journal is to facilitate contacts between research centers and the industry. The aspiration of the Editors is to publish high-quality scientific professional papers presenting works of significant scientific teams, experienced and well-established authors as well as postgraduate students and beginning researchers. Abstract

Early detection of child growth and development deviations is a major global theme in modern child health services in the first 5 years of life. This study aims to determine the results of growth and development screening in the group A at Darma Wanita Persatuan Medalem Kindergarten with the Denver Development Screening Test II method. This study used a type of descriptive research that used total sampling with respondents as many as 25 students by using the DDST II observation sheet research instrument which then the screening results were processed in the form of data tabulation. From the research conducted, it was found that in the four sectors of growth development tasks, the results of caution and delay were the most in the language sector, namely caution 12% and delayed 4%, while personal social 1 delayed 8% and 2 delayed 4%, in the gross motor and fine motor sectors the results were 100% normal. The success of stimulation is influenced by when the initial time is given, how long, and how to do it. Some factors that can cause caution or delayed results are, lack of concentration, lack of stimulation, and children are still unfamiliar with people they just met.

Abstract

Currently, many young women suffer from breast cancer, due to not doing early detection of breast cancer by breast self-examination (BSE). BSE is an early detection effort to find lumps or abnormalities in the breast. This study used a descriptive research design with a sample of 178 respondents using a total sampling technique. The questionnaire used for data collection is in digital form using Google forms with reference to specific objectives consisting of knowledge, sources of information and implementation of BSE. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the majority of young women's knowledge about early detection of breast cancer through breast self-examination (BSE) was sufficient (65.2%). The majority of knowledge is based on information sources from 110 people and most of them get information from electronic media. Most of the 86 people who had performed BSE had done it once. Seeing the results of this study, it is hoped that D3 Nursing students will know the importance of doing BSE correctly. Because breast self-examination (BSE) is very important for the D3 Nursing Study Program in Sidoarjo because they are studying in the health sector who will become potential health educators and educators who will later go into the community

Abstract

Abstract Kidney failure is the inability of the kidneys to function adequately for the body's needs (must be assisted by dialysis or transplantation. Generally, patients are not aware that they are suffering from terminal kidney failure because this disease progresses gradually and takes years as the patient's kidney function declines. There are two general terms for Kidney Failure, namely, Acute Kidney Failure and Chronic Kidney Failure. According to 2018 World Health Organization (WHO) data, around 71% of deaths in the world are caused by Non-Communicable Diseases (PTM).In 2020, it is estimated that the death rate this will increase to 73%.The results of basic health research (Riskesdas) 2013, stated that Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) increased from 20% to 38% in 2018. The problem is that the authors are interested in conducting research entitled "Descriptive Study of Kidney Failure RT 08 RW 02 Bangah Village, Gedanga District. Based on the background above, it can be seen that the incidence of Kidney Failure in Sidoarjo is increasing and high in Bangah Village. So the problem is that the authors are interested in conducting research entitled "Descriptive Study of Kidney Failure Disease RT 08 RW 02 Bangah Village, Gedangan District. This study aims to find out about descriptive studies of kidney failure. The type of research used is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling. Data collection was carried out by filling out a questionnaire prepared by the researcher. The results of the study revealed that of the 40 respondents in Bangah village, it was shown that the majority. Enough knowledge about kidney failure with the criteria of 16 respondents (40%). Abstract

Menopause is the end of the last menstrual cycle but certainty is only obtained if a woman has not had her menstrual cycle for at least 12 months, in addition menopause occurs on average between the ages of 45-55 years. However, in terms of age, there are still mothers who experience late menopause who previously used the 3-month depoprovera injection contraceptive. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the 3-month depoprovera injection contraceptive on the incidence of menopause in the Demangan Village study group. The design of this study is analytical. The population used were mothers aged 45-55 years who had previously used 3-month depoprovera injection contraception for > 2 years. The independent variable is the use of 3-month depoprovera injection contraception, the dependent variable is menopause . The population was 15 mothers. Data collection used a questionnaire. Tested using the fisher's exact test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the study on 15 mothers in table 4.6, those who experienced late menopause were 9 mothers (60%), normal menopause was 6 mothers (40%). Based on the fisher's exact test , the probability value (0.01) was smaller than the significance level value (0.05) so it was rejected and accepted. In conclusion, there is an effect of the use of 3-month depoprovera injection contraception on the incidence of menopause . To improve the health status of women, midwives are expected to emphasize more on the side effects of 3-month depoprovera injection contraception in providing HE.

Abstract

Introduction: Nutritional problems in general consist of deficiency and excess nutrition. Malnutrition in children, especially toddlers, are still a problem in Indonesia. One of them is stunting, stunting is a condition in which children experience growth disorders, so that the child's height does note match his age, US a result of chronic nutritional problems. One of the causes of stunting is the lack of knowledge of mothers in fulfilling conditions child nutrition. The purpose of this study was to identify mothers' knowledge about feeding toddlers to prevent stunting. Methods: This type of research is descriptive. The population of this study were mothers who had children aged 1-5 years as many as 91 people. The technique used to take samples is accidental sampling. Data collection used a questionnaire and then analyzed using frequency distribution and percentage. Results and Analysis: The results of this study indicates that most mothers of toddlers are knowledgeable enough. Knowledge of mothers of toddlers aged 35 years, mothers of toddlers aged 20-35 years, and mothers of toddlers aged <20 years are mostly knowledgeable enough. Knowledge of toddlers mothers in terms of the education of all toddler mothers with elementary - junior high school education, and a small number of toddler mother with high school education have less knowledge. Knowledge of mother of toddler in terms of the work of most of the mother who work are knowledgeable enough. Discussion: It is hoping that mothers of toddlers will seek information about feeding toddlers to prevent stunting through health workers, print and electronics media, listen when health education is given and apply it in everyday life US an effort to minimize the risk of stunting.
