Abstract

Milk quality is determined by bacteria contained in milk because bacteria can damage and change the chemical, physical and organoleptic properties of milk. Unhygienic milking process can cause bacterial contamination. Purpose: To determine the factors that influence the presence of Escherichia coli in fresh cow's milk. in Bendungan sub-district. Method: The research design is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population is 32, data collection techniques with laboratory examinations and observations with sampling techniques using Cluster sampling . This study was conducted from February to March 2020. Data collection using questionnaires. Data is processed using the SPSS program with the Logistic Regression test . Results: personal hygiene (43.8% ) is not good , there is a significant influence of personal hygiene on the content of Eschericia Coli ( Ρ Value 0.043), equipment hygiene (37.5%) is not good, there is an influence of equipment hygiene on the content of Eschericia Coli ( Ρ Value 0.045 ) , cage sanitation (50.0% ) is not good, there is a significant influence of cage sanitation on the content of Eschericia Coli ( Ρ Value 0.048) , cow cleanliness 53.1% , not good, there is a significant influence of cow cleanliness on Eschericia Coli content ( Ρ Value 0.039) and for the content of Eschericia Coli included in the category of not meeting health requirements, namely 21 respondents (66%) of the total 32 respondents . All variables have a significant effect on the content of Eschericia Coli. This is caused by the improper milking process and bacteria can move from one object to another. Conclusion : personal hygiene, equipment hygiene, barn sanitation, and cow cleanliness can affect the content of Eschericia Coli in cow's milk. It is recommended that the Animal Husbandry Service increase milking supervision to ensure the quality of cow's milk .

Abstract

Background Behind : The high density of flies in RT03 RW04, Kartoharjo Village, Nganjuk District, Nganjuk Regency. Based on the initial survey, the results of fly density measurements were 16 flies from five surveyed houses . Objectives : This study aims to determine the effect of fly density levels on waste management . Methods : The research design in this study is observational Cross-sectional, namely to determine the effect of fly density levels on waste management. Where data concerning independent and dependent variables are collected at once at one time. Determination of Population Number of houses 70. Determination of samples with the formula n = N / 1 + Ne² = 70 / 1 + (70x0.05²) = 70 / 1 + (70x0.0025) = 70 / 1 + (0.175) = 70 / 1.175 = 59.57. Then 60 samples were obtained. The instrument used to measure waste management is filling out a questionnaire with observation while to measure fly density using the Fly Grill tool. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. The data is analyzed in the form of tables and Chi Square tests. Results : From this study, namely Good waste management as many as 30 (50%), poor waste management as many as 30 (50%). The density of flies obtained was low as many as 28 (46.67%), Medium as many as 10 (16.67%), High as many as 17 (28.33%), Very High as many as 5 (8.33%). Conclusion : Waste management affects the density of flies (significance 0.00 <0.05). Furthermore, suggestions related to the results of the study are the environment of RT03 RW04, Kartoharjo Village and the Health Office (Nganjuk Health Center) to plan activities in order to improve waste management so that it can reduce the level of fly density Copyright © 2018 Universitas Ahmad Dahlan .

Abstract

HIV infects white blood cells which causes a decrease in human immunity, making it susceptible to various infections. People with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) face various symptoms related to HIV for a long time and must struggle to overcome various physical, social, poverty, depression, and cultural beliefs that can affect quality of life . This study focuses on exploring the fulfillment of basic needs based on the concept of peaceful end of life in AIDS patients which include , free from pain , get comfort , get dignity and respect , be at peace and experience closeness to significant others and those who care . The design of this study is qualitative with a narrative study approach. Using purposive sampling technique with a sample of some PLWHA in the Peer Support Group (KDS) of Kediri City totaling 4 informants. Data collection was carried out by in -depth interview with semi-structured interviews, the results were analyzed using an inductive thinking process. The results of the study showed 4 concepts of the Peaceful End of Life theory , namely free from pain , get comfort , get dignity and respect , closeness to significant others and those who care have been fulfilled, 1 concept that has not been fulfilled is being at peace. Peace is a need for every individual, both healthy and sick, especially for people with terminal illnesses such as AIDS. In people with HIV and AIDS (ODHA) in the Peer Support Group (KDS) in Kediri City, this has not been met . This is because because of feelings of fear of death, concerns about their health condition and anxiety about changes in their status in society or in their work environment.
