Abstract

This work aims at identifying the key elements that underpin the establishment of digital economy with emphasis on innovations, digital infrastructure, policies and education. Employing an exploratory, non-experimental, quantitative research design, survey data were obtained from 500 participants using a standardised and psychometrically sound questionnaire. The above multiple regressions confirmed that innovation leads to greater degrees of digital economic growth than the components of digital infrastructure, digitized regulations, and educational enablers. In doing so the results highlight the significance of these elements in the continuation of economic development in the post-industrial age. The study also validity and reliability of the survey instrument is confirmed through a pilot study with Cronbach’s alpha is 0. 78 and they are also all above the cutoff level of successful factor analysis. An analysis of variance indicated that there are no significant intersectorial and demographic differences in perceptions of effectiveness of digital strategies. Finally, this study contributes to the development of literature in the area of digital economics by establishing the importance of each of the quantitative predictors of Internet use and specifically identifying digital economic growth’s major factors. The results also presented relevant information for policymakers, educators, and businesses who would like to develop and improve the digital economic development sources and future. Future research should also try and establish these relationships within different settings and different populations in order to elaborate on this research.

Abstract

In this research, authors aim at analyzing the connection between ethics and corporate governance and their consequences regarding organizational performance. Quantitative data was gathered from 150 firms from different industries, and pre-modeled tests such as Pearson correlation, regression analysis, and ANOVA were employed. It is clear that a relationship exists between Ethics and Corporate Governance as there is a positive correlation coefficient of 0.72 which is significant at 0.001. Taking the results of regression analysis into consideration, it is possible to state that out of the two factors considered, ethics has a slightly higher impact on the level of performance (β = 0.55, p - 0.001) than corporate governance (β = 0.45, p - 0.001), which proves the importance of ethical leadership in managing organizational performance. The ANOVA study also pointed to the fact that there were measurable differences in governance between the industries the companies belonged to (F = 4.35, sig < 0.05) with the manufacturing and to some extent finance industries having better governance mechanisms than service industry firms. The paper makes a contribution to the knowledge by filling some of the existing gaps; for example the inability to produce empirical evidence on the effect of ethics on governance and performance as well as the cross-sectional comparator analysis on the varying governing practices in different sectors. It also emphasizes the need to consider ESG factors as a key consideration in corporate governance structures. Thus, the presented results point out the necessity to address the ethical problem as a key characteristic of governance alongside with the analyses of the organisations’ sustainability and the development of strategies to increase the stakeholders’ trust.

Imagination and creativity play significant roles in sustaining the competitive edge in the current fluid business environment. This paper explores leadership and creativity, particularly change, transactional and servant and authentic leadership styles. Descriptive research was employed and questionnaires were administered on 250 respondents from different organizations and administrative regression analysis used. The personal factors established indicate that among all the leadership styles, transformational leadership generates high positive influence on creativity and innovation as it inspires employees to try out new ideas that can help overcome old structures. There is also a huge positive impact from servant and authentic leadership which promote support, ethical standards and information sharing. On the other hand, transactional leadership arranged in the aspect of goal setting and rewards gives a small impact in encouraging creativity as it preserves the current system. The present research fulfills the silences of the existing literature by offering insights into the impact of differentforms of leadership on innovation and creativity While doing so, the study emphasized the need to adopt leadership strategies that foster risk taking, collaboration and decentralised decision making among employees. These findings imply that someone who wants to enhance innovation in an organization should support three forms of leadership: transformational, servant, and authentic leadership.

Abstract

An investigation examines environmental management methodologies which enhance the growth of ecotourism at Bantimurung National Park in South Sulawesi Indonesia. The qualitative research method examines present management practices together with their impact on tourism as well as defines current challenges and potential opportunities for improvement. Interviews with important stakeholders from park management and government departments and ecotourism facilities and tourist parties combined with park observations and document examination structured the data collection. Numerous sustainable practices installed by the park get hindered by restricted resources along with minimal community engagement and weak policy collaboration. The research underscores the critical value of local unity in management decisions alongside new funding methods and technological approaches to solve the problems affecting a famous ecotourism attraction. The research reveals major opportunities for environmental management improvement at the park by developing better policy frameworks and enhancing participation from communities and implementing technological solutions. The research adds to the expanding literature on sustainable tourism by presenting guidelines that assist other protected areas dealing with conservation-tourism balance concerns.
