Abstract

CV. Anugerah Ajitama, a building material distribution company, faces inventory management challenges due to stock determination that is still conducted manually based on subjective estimation. This condition has led to recurring overstock and stockout issues, resulting in increased storage costs, product damage risks, and lost sales opportunities. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory forecasting system utilizing the Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) method, as well as to evaluate the forecasting accuracy and system functionality. System development employs the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, encompassing the stages of requirement planning, user design, construction, and cutover. The research data consists of historical sales data of three main products water tanks, turbine ventilators, and metal roof tiles from the January 2023 to December 2025 period. The forecasting process involves testing alpha values from 0.1 to 0.9 through a trial and error approach, with the best alpha selected based on the smallest Mean Squared Error (MSE), while Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) serves as supplementary information. The results show that the optimal alpha values are 0.1 for water tanks (MSE: 13.70, MAD: 2.60), 0.2 for turbine ventilators (MSE: 5.12, MAD: 2.02), and 0.3 for metal roof tiles (MSE: 4932.58, MAD: 53.60). The system was successfully implemented as a web-based application built with Laravel and React, featuring product data management, stock realization, sales data management, automated forecasting, report generation, notifications, and role-based access control. Furthermore, functional testing using Black Box Testing across three user roles (Super Admin, Business Owner, and Admin Staff) with a total of 133 test scenarios was successfully executed with a 100% pass rate. Based on these findings, this application can effectively serve as a decision support tool for inventory planning at CV. Anugerah Ajitama.

Abstract

Price instability of medium rice has important implications for food security and agricultural policy in Indonesia, making accurate price forecasting essential for decision-making. This study investigates the forecasting capability of the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and Prophet models for predicting producer-level medium rice prices in East Java Province. Monthly producer price data spanning January 2020 to December 2025 were collected from the East Java Open Data Portal. The research followed the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM), covering problem identification, data exploration, preprocessing, model development, performance assessment, and forecasting deployment. Forecast accuracy was measured using Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Experimental results reveal that ARIMA(1,1,1) achieved the highest predictive accuracy, recording an MAE of 238.37, an RMSE of 293.11, and a MAPE of 1.88%, whereas Prophet produced larger prediction errors, with values of 2,062.14, 2,113.86, and 16.46%, respectively. Based on these results, the ARIMA model was selected to estimate producer-level medium rice prices for the 2026 forecasting period. Overall, the study demonstrates that ARIMA is better suited to the characteristics of the analyzed dataset and has the potential to support data-driven agricultural price monitoring and food price stabilization policies. Abstract

Information security is crucial for local government agencies, especially those managing the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) infrastructure. Many agencies still lack clear and documented information security governance. This issue is evident at the Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office (Diskominfo) X, where security operations remain reactive, and the KAMI Index rating is “Insufficient.”The study aims to perform a gap analysis and design recommendations for information security governance at Diskominfo X, based on ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards. It is a qualitative study using interviews, observations, and internal document reviews. Findings indicate that although Diskominfo has a regional legal basis and operational security practices, compliance with the standard is mostly “Not Yet Implemented.” Information security management is still informal and not integrated into an Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework. The study outputs include draft SOP documents, operational forms, work regulations, and responsibility distribution drafts. Recommendations urge the institution to formalize these documents, standardize technical activities, and conduct regular internal audits and security awareness training for all employees.

Abstract

Luqman Al Hakim Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya faces inefficiency in recording halaqoh attendance and monitoring students' memorization progress due to reliance on manual paper-based methods and Mutaba'ah Yaumiyyah books. This reliance leads to a high risk of data loss, slow recapitulation, and a lack of real-time transparency for parents. This study aims to develop a mobile-based information system using the Flutter framework to address these issues. The Extreme Programming (XP) method is applied, focusing on iterative system development through planning, designing, coding, and testing phases. The system utilizes barcode scanning using the Student Identification Number (NIS) for accurate attendance tracking. Furthermore, the application integrates the Hive local database and Firebase Cloud Firestore to provide offline-first capabilities. This feature ensures teachers can input data without an internet connection, automatically synchronizing it once the network is available. Functional testing using the Black Box method demonstrates that all features for the Admin, Halaqoh Teacher, Parent, and Superadmin roles operate at 100% validity. In conclusion, this application successfully digitalizes boarding school administration, secures data records, and provides transparent memorization monitoring for parents.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Web-based graphic design platforms have become essential tools for small businesses, content creators, and marketing professionals, making the reliability of their Graphical User Interface (GUI) a critical quality factor. This study evaluates and compares the GUI functionality of two leading online graphic design platforms, Canva and VistaCreate, using the Black Box Testing method automated with the Katalon ecosystem, namely Katalon Studio and Katalon Recorder. The testing process was structured following the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), covering requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, environment setup, test execution, and test closure. A total of sixteen test cases were designed across four core feature groups: user authentication, interface navigation, design creation and editing, and design downloading. All sixteen test cases achieved a passed status on both platforms, yielding a testing success rate of 100%. Nevertheless, functional differences were identified. Canva applies stricter validation by rejecting the download of an empty canvas and enforcing OTP verification during login, whereas VistaCreate still allows empty-canvas downloads, deviating from the expected result. CAPTCHA protection on Canva also limited browser automation, requiring Katalon Recorder as an alternative. The findings demonstrate that Katalon-based automation testing is effective, structured, and consistent for validating web GUI functionality, and provides an objective reference for selecting a reliable web-based graphic design platform.
