JIEP: Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi dan Pembangunan adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi dan Studi Pembangunan, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, yang terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan Mei dan November. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menjadi wadah publikasi karya ilmiah hasil penelitian, kajian analitis, dan pemikiran kritis di bidang ilmu ekonomi dan studi pembangunan. Fokus jurnal mencakup berbagai topik seperti ekonomi pertanian, ekonomi terapan, bisnis dan keuangan, pembangunan ekonomi, sejarah ekonomi, ekonomi lingkungan, ekonomi fiskal, ekonomi kesehatan, industri dan perdagangan, inflasi, ekonomi internasional, ekonomi Islam, ekonomi tenaga kerja, makro dan mikroekonomi, kebijakan moneter dan fiskal, ekonomi politik, kebijakan publik, pembangunan wilayah dan pedesaan, ekonomi perkotaan dan regional, pengangguran, serta ekonomi kesejahteraan. JIEP: Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi dan Pembangunan is a scientific journal published by the Department of Economics and Development Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, issued biannually in May and November. This journal aims to serve as a platform for publishing scientific works, research findings, analytical studies, and critical perspectives in the field of economics and development studies. The journal focuses on a wide range of topics including agricultural economics, applied economics, business and finance, economic development, economic history, environmental and ecological economics, fiscal economics, health economics, industry and trade, inflation, international economics, Islamic economics, labor economics, macroeconomics and microeconomics, monetary and fiscal policies, political economics, public policy, regional and rural development, urban and regional economies, unemployment, and welfare economics.

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the leading sectors in South Kalimantan Province, determine the relationship between the top sectors and employment, and the relationship between the leading sectors and poverty in South Kalimantan Province. The analytical tools in this research are Static Location Quotient (SLQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), Esteban-Marquillas Shift Share, and Specialization Index. The Pearson Correlation Test determines the relationship between leading sectors and the dependent variable. Secondary data uses the 2016-2020 period. The results showed that the mining sector is the leading sector in South Kalimantan Province. The leading sector relationship to employment shows a unidirectional and significant relationship, assuming that the higher the mining sector's contribution to the total GDP, the higher employment will be. Meanwhile, the relationship between the leading sectors and the poverty level shows an opposite and significant relationship, assuming that the higher the mining sector's contribution to the total GRDP, the lower the percentage of people experiencing poverty will be.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to analyze how the Regional Financial Independence Ratio, Economic Growth, and Human Development index of Tanah Bumbu, Kotabaru, and Tanah Laut have an effect on the Tanah Bumbu, Kotabaru, and Tanah Laut and analyze how the Economic Growth affects the Human Development Index in of Tanah Bumbu, Kotabaru, and Tanah Laut. This study uses regional financial independence, linear panel data regression, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the ratio of regional financial independence partially has a significant adverse effect on the Human Development Index (HDI); the test results show that the probability count is 0.0549>0.05. Meanwhile, economic growth partially has a significant positive effect on the human development index (HDI). The test results show that the probability value of count is 0.0033<0.05.]]>

<![CDATA[This research discusses the influence of Per capita Income, Poverty Levels, and Unemployment Levels on the Human Development Index (IPM), which will later show whether the contribution of the variable to the dependent variable partially and simultaneously during the period of this research is 2010 to 2020 in Tabalong Regency. The research method used is quantitative descriptive to answer research questions, namely analyzing the influence between variables. Data collection techniques in this study used secondary data, namely documentation from reports and data that already existed at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Tabalong Regency. The data analysis used is the classical assumption test and hypothesis testing using the EViews 9 statistical test application. The results of this study simultaneously are Per capita Income, Poverty Levels, and Unemployment Rates have a positive and significant impact on the Human Development Index of Tabalong Regency in 2010-2020. Partially, only per capita income positively and significantly impacted the Tabalong Regency Human Development Index in 2010-2020. Per capita income is the dominant variable that affects the Tabalong Regency Human Development Index in 2010-2020.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted (1) to find out whether there were differences in the income of traders before and during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Sungai Andai Traditional Market, North Banjarmasin District. (2 To find out what strategies are being used by traders to increase income during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Sungai Andai Traditional Market, North Banjarmasin District.This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, while the analysis technique used is paired t-test using SPSS. The results of this study show that there is a significant difference between the income of traders before Covid 19 and the income of traders during Covid 19, where most of the traders experienced a decrease in their income from doing business such as giving discounts or sales and some using social media to increase their income during the pandemic.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the effect of family income, number of family members, water use costs, length of time as a customer, yard area, other water sources, and installation costs on PDAM water demand in Purwokerto City. The research locations were four sub-districts in Purwokerto, including East Purwokerto, West Purwokerto, North Purwokerto, and South Purwokerto Districts. The research method used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that family income, number of family members, cost of water use, and yard area significantly positively affected PDAM water demand in Purwokerto City. Meanwhile, other water sources significantly negatively affect PDAM water demand. The length of time as a customer and installation costs do not affect PDAM water demand in Purwokerto City.]]>

<![CDATA[The rate of increase in population in Sidoarjo Regency continues to increase, and Sidoarjo Regency has medium and large industrial areas spread across 18 sub-districts. Of course, this will impact changes in land use in Sidoarjo Regency. In this way, the increasing demand for land in Sidoarjo Regency is not only for meeting residential needs but also for development in the industrial sector. The increase in demand for land will result in the availability of land becoming scarce, land market prices becoming unstable, and various problems arising. Seeing these problems, research was used to review whether the Land Bank concept could be a solution. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The presence of the Land Bank is considered a way to make land management more productive. The study regarding Banklank in Sidoarjo Regency needs to be reviewed again by the local government so that land availability is balanced for the community. By implementing the Land Bank concept in Sidoarjo Regency, inefficient land use can be minimized, and the amount of land for the future can be maintained.]]>

<![CDATA[The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is an international economic trade route connecting Asia, Africa and Europe, consisting of around 60 countries. BRI aims to improve the world economy and create new trade routes to increase business opportunities in terms of exports, imports and investment for China. This research aims to reveal China's national interests behind investments or loans provided through BRI in infrastructure cooperation in North Sulawesi. The projects included in this collaboration are Bitug Port, development of Bitung Port, and construction of the Manado-Bitung Toll Road. The researcher used a qualitative method in which the study used a literature study method, which allowed the author to carry out fact-based analysis of the data found during the research. This research results in the conclusion that the cooperation carried out by China through the BRI with Indonesia is in China's national interests, namely helping to improve the economy through easy exports and imports and affordable infrastructure development in North Sulawesi.]]>

<![CDATA[This study (1) aims to determine the effect of capital, price, and quantity of laundry on laundry business income in West Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. (2) To determine the most dominant factor influencing laundry business income in West Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. This study used 20 respondents who were laundry business owners in the West Banjarmsain District, Banjarmasin City. The data in this study were then processed using multiple linear regression analysis using Eviews 10 software. The results of this study indicate that together, the factors of capital, price, and quantity of laundry affect the income of the laundry business in the West Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. The most dominant factor in influencing the income of the laundry business in West Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City, is the washing quantity factor.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the long-term and short-term impact of world gold prices, money supply, inflation, and zakat on the Indonesian shariah stock indices (ISSI). The dependent variables applied in this study are the world's gold price, money supply, inflation, and zakat. By applying the vector error correction model (VECM) analysis method in the series, data was interpolated to monthly data for 2017-2021. Secondary data is the form of data applied in this study using the Eviews 10 program. This is due to several factors influencing the index that changes the Islamic capital market by representing Indonesian stocks. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the concluding are accepted in the form of long-term relationships between world gold prices and money supply influence it. In the short term, each dependent variable does not affect the ISSI.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to determine the effect of Per-capita Income, Total Working Population, and Number of Types of Local Taxes on Local Tax Revenues. This research is a quantitative study, and the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the ordinary least squares (OLS) method. The data used in the study were from the Central Statistics Agency of South Kalimantan and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance 2011 – 2018. The results of the study with the best model FEM show that simultaneously Per-capita Income, Total Working Population, and Number of Types of Local Taxes have a significant effect on Local Tax Revenues.]]>
