Abstract

Room temperature controller and chicken feeding using arduino designed to make it easier for farmers to control room and automatic feeding system. This research aims to maintain and control the temperature of the chicken coop which is a special obstacle for herders with an unstable and uncertain climate. This research uses devices such as Arduino Uno R3 Microcontroller, RTC, 4 Channel Relay, Water Level, DHT11, Van Theo, Servo, LCD. CM Sensor DHT 11 is used as a temperature gauge for the enclosure, this sensor will work to turn fan if temperature >32° and <24° then light will turn on. Feeding system moves automatically using servo motor as main driver in opening the feed tandon lid, the water level sensor serves as data input to arduino to instruct the relay to connect selenoide valve, as the main driver to open water access from the water toren. This room temperature control tool and feeding and water can help farmers to be able to do other activities to support family economy. This tool system uses low power electric current so it is very economical for chicken farmers.

Abstract

The digital era as it is currently requires every organization and individual to follow the pace of technological development, not least PDAM Tirta Kepri which is required to further improve service to the community both administratively and technically, Based on the results of observations and interviews with the service department at PDAM Tirta Kepri Tanjungpinang is an administration activity at the time of registering new installations for customers and the slow pace of data collection. customer location if there is a problem of complaints or arrears. In addition, officers have difficulty checking the available network when there are new customers who sign up. Based on existing problems, the author analyzed and made the design of a geographical information system in order to make it easier administratively for new customers to register for network installation and create facilities for users when going to file complaints and can also make it easier for officers to find customer locations, in this study also carried out the design of pipeline maps to help officers when checking based pipelines. Website, the methodology used for software development using waterfall methods and for system development using DFD while the language used for system development uses PHP programming language to create maps used opensource libraries i.e. leaflets. With the construction of the system can increase time efficiency and effectiveness and can increase productivity in carrying out work, especially in improving service to customers.

Abstract

In the last four years, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Indonesia Tanjungpinang has experienced ups and downs in the number of new students. In the 2017/2018 academic year the number of new students was 180 with 77 students taking the Information Systems study program and 103 students choosing the Informatics Engineering study program. In the following year the number of students decreased by 16% then rose again in the 2019/2020 academic year by 23% with 185 new students and in the 2020/2021 academic year where this year the whole country was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, it decreased again by 8, 6% with 169 students. The use of linear regression algorithms in predicting the number of new students in the form of a web-based application can facilitate the marketing department in making future strategies to increase the number of new students in the following year. The method in this research consists of several stages, namely literature study, data collection, system requirements analysis, system design using simple linear regression algorithm, python django programming language and using MySQL database, then implementation and analysis of results and testing. The results of this study can help predict the number of new students for the future, where the results obtained are estimates based on data for a certain period of time. The accuracy test with manual calculation is 0.000277008 while the accuracy test with the system is 0.00027700831024, this shows that manual calculations and system calculations can be said to be appropriate

Abstract

Monitoring is an important thing in a company to ensure that the activities being carried out can be monitored continuously so that the information can be reported to the leadership. The State Electricity Company (PLN) Tanjung Uban Substation is one of the sub-branches in the Riau Archipelago, especially Bintan. In monitoring activities for borrowing and returning equipment that is currently happening, it is not well organized because it is still done Microsoft excel. In the activities of borrowing and returning equipment, recording is only carried out in the loan data processing process, while returns are often not recorded. This creates ambiguity in the data because sometimes duplicate data occurs due to miscalculation of the existing equipment inventory due to the process of returning equipment that is not recorded. The impact is that during the process of calculating the equipment, there is a difference in calculations from the previous month and when reporting to the leadership, a re-sweeping of the borrowing and returning processes that occurred previously has to be carried out. Therefore, we need a work equipment monitoring application that can monitor the borrowing and return of equipment, so that management reporting can be done in real-time. Every piece of equipment owned by the Company will be affixed with a QR Code as an item code. This application was developed using MySQL database and PHP programming. The system development method used is the waterfall model. Application of the QR Code on the web-based Maintenance Work Equipment Monitoring Application at PT. PLN (Persero) Substation Tanjung Uban can assist the process of monitoring equipment and produce information regarding the status of borrowing and returning equipment relevantly.

Abstract

System design is the activity of translating the results of analysis into software form and then creating the system or improving the existing system. Monitoring is the continuous assessment of the function of program activities in terms of scheduled use of data input. Aeroponics is a system of plant cultivation development by way of plant roots are periodically moistened with granules of fine nutrient solutions such as fog so that the roots of plants hang in the air so that the absorption of nutrients in the roots is more maximal. Nutrient solution is a nutrient that plants need to move the metabolism of the plant body. The nutrients needed by plants contain several elements that must be met, including the minimum limit of availability of nutrient solutions so as not to run out of nutrients and plants can develop properly. The nutrient solution that is applied to the roots of the plant has a certain time, so that the roots of the plant can always get the necessary nutrients. So that the control of the speeding pump is very necessary. To facilitate the control and monitoring of aeroponics systems, esp32 microcontrollers are required. The Esp32 microcontroller is an open-source Internet of Things platform that means it can be entered by programs according to needs. Esp32 is a microcontroller that has embedded wi-fi and Bluetooth and is compatible with arduino IDE. The tools built have a positive impact on hydroponic cultivation farmers, especially aeroponic methods. This tool is also very flexible because it can be used for small to large scale aeroponic cultivation for industry.

Abstract

Feed is the main factor in fish cultivation, the main problem faced by rancher is the provision of fish feed which still depends on human resources. The weakness of this system is that feeding is not done regularly, irregular feeding will have an impact on fish growth. The monitoring and feeding system of fish is designed using Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller, ultrasonic sensor, servo motor and SMS Gateway to provide information to rancher. The ultrasonic sensor functions to detect the availability of feed, while the servo motor is used as a driver to remove feed. With the application of monitoring tools and automatic feeding of fish, it is hoped that the feeding of fish will be more regular. This system can feed fish automatically on a scheduled basis and can provide information on feed availability to rancher via SMS.

Abstract

With the marketplace, buying and selling activities are easier to do, buyers do not need to come to the store, only with a smartphone. In this study, there is a problem where consumers have received unsatisfactory service when shopping at the marketplace and also there is no system that can determine the best marketplace in terms of service. In addition, service providers also need to know consumer ratings of their marketplace in order to improve services in the future. Therefore, a decision support system is built that can determine the best marketplace in terms of service. The criteria used in this study are overpayment or underpayment (transfer), order cancellation, chat response, return of goods or funds and tracking of orders obtained through distributing questionnaires to 40 respondents who have shopped in the marketplace. The approach used in this research is to use the MOORA method (Multi-objective optimization on the basis of ratio analysis). The system built with the Laravel Framework and using the MySQL database expected to be considered or a tool for prospective consumers to making decisions, as input to the marketplace to be able to improve its services and as information to the public, especially consumers regarding the ranking of the marketplace with the best service

Abstract

One source of renewable energy is solar energy. The main component in a solar energy system is the solar panel. To maximize the amount of sunlight harvested by the solar panels, the panels need to track the position of the sun. In this study, a dual-axis tracker is used in the form of a tip-tilt dual-axis tracker. The drivers used are two DC motors equipped with a gear box. The algorithm used is an LDR sensor output based algorithm. Solar panels equipped with solar trackers, even with a simple algorithm using LDR output values, can improve the performance of solar panels. The current generated by a solar panel with a solar tracker is higher than when the solar panel is in a static position. The current difference in the two conditions is the smallest of 16.17 mA and the largest of 544.01 mA. When using a solar tracker, the output power of the solar panel is more than 5.32 W, while when it is fixed, the power of the solar panel is small, even reaching 0.25 W. The output voltage of the solar panel is more than 13 V, while when it is fixed, the voltage of the solar panel is drops to below 13 V, which is 12.81 V.

Abstract

Magelang was already old, long before the Dutch held the reins. Recorded in a number of inscriptions, Magelang had been favored by Mataram Kuno rulers due to the consideration of its prolific nature and location, in the center of Java. The local term “pakuning tengah pulo Jawa” (nail in the center of Java) is a cultural fact that confirms the geographical position of Magelang. Authority turnover did not make Magelang overturned by rulers. Mataram Islam assigned Magelang as their granary because of its good vegetation due to being surrounded by Mount Merapi, Merbabu, Sumbing, Sindoro, Andong, Ungaran, Telomoyo, and Menoreh. As a negaragung (core area) of Mataram Islam, Magelang had become agricultural product supplier. In 1817, Dutch East Indies government established Kedu as a separate residency. A year later, Magelang was made as the capital of Kedu Residency. In 1906, Magelang was appointed as an autonomous city. In 1926, Magelang gained status of stadsgemeente (town municipality) and had the right to regulate its own domestic. History of authority shows territorial changes in Magelang which adjusts the rulers’ interests from time to time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of information technology, job flexibility and job satisfaction on the performance of drivers at Gojek (go-ride) partners in Bukittinggi City. This study uses secondary data. The sampling technique in this study was using the Slovin formula. The number of samples obtained as many as 90 respondents. The analysis method of this research uses multiple linear regression analysis. From this research, it can be concluded that information technology has a significant positive effect on driver performance, job flexibility has a significant positive effect on driver performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on driver performance.
