Abstract

Management of CKD patients is divided into three, namely conservative therapy, kidney replacement therapy with hemodialysis and kidney transplant surgery therapy. Complications or complications can occur during the hemodialysis process called intradialytic complications, including intradialytic hypertension. One of the independent nursing interventions for hemodialysis nurses that can be given is Benson relaxation therapy. This study aims to determine the effect of Benson's relaxation therapy on the blood pressure of patients with intradialytic hypertension at Panti Wilasa Dr. Cipto Hospital Semarang. The research design used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design model. The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents which were divided into 15 respondents in the intervention group and 15 respondents in the control group. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of the Independent T-Test test obtained a value for systolic pressure p value = 0.000 (p value <0.05) and a value for diastolic pressure p value = 0.006 (p value <0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of Benson relaxation therapy on the blood pressure of patients with intradialytic hypertension at Panti Wilasa Dr. Cipto Hospital Semarang. Recommendations from this study are independent nursing interventions for intradialytic hypertension with non-pharmacological therapy, one of which is Benson relaxation therapy. For the next researcher, the control group can be given other non-pharmacological therapies, so that they can compare the effectiveness of the two non-pharmacological therapies

Abstract

Sectio caesarea is an artificial birth process that is carried out surgically by making an incision in the abdominal wall and the mother's uterine wall. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the effectiveness of finger hold relaxation techniques and Benson relaxation techniques on changes in pain intensity in patients with postoperative Sectio Cesarea at Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital Semarang. This research method uses a quantitative method with a Quasy Experimental Pre test and Post test without control design. The population in this study were all mothers who performed postoperative caesarean section as many as 42 respondents, with the number of samples that had met the inclusion criteria as many as 30 respondents. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, NRS (Numeric Rating Scale) scales and SOP sheets for finger grip relaxation and Benson relaxation. The results of the study using Man-Whitney analysis showed that the p value was 0.036 (<0.05), which means that there is a significant difference between the group of respondents who were given Finger Hold relaxation and the group that was given Benson relaxation. The results of the study using the NGain Score test found that the finger grip relaxation technique was more effective in reducing the intensity of post SC pain with a result of 84.00 or 84% which was included in the effective category. The conclusion of this study is that there are differences in the effectiveness of finger hold relaxation techniques and Benson relaxation on reducing pain intensity in postoperative sectio caesarea patients at RS Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang.

Abstract

Coronary artery disease is a condition of fatty deposits in the coronary arterial vessels of the heart that inhibit blood flow to the heart. Risk factors for coronary heart disease consist of factors that can be modified (history of the disease, lifestyle) and non-modifiable (genetic). The existence of a history of hypertension, diabetes mellitus and smoking lifestyle can affect the incidence of coronary heart disease. The purpose of the research was to analyze modify risk factors in the incidence of coronary heart disease at RSUD Tugurejo Semarang. Research design is quantitative research with a retrospective descriptive design. The population in this research was data on patients with coronary heart disease in the last 1 year of the 2020 period. The population in RSUD Tugurejo Semarang is 242 people. The sampling technique used is quota sampling of 151 respondents. The results of bivariate analysis obtained factors that affect the incidence of coronary heart disease, namely a history of hypertension and diabetes mellitus. There is no association between smoking lifestyle, obesity and physical activity to the incidence of coronary heart disease. The results of multivariate analysis obtained a more dominant risk factor for coronary heart disease events, namely a history of hypertension with a value of p-value < 0.05. Hypertension becomes the dominant factor because high blood pressure continuously causes damage to the arterial vascular system slowly. It is also aggravated the presence of fatty deposits on the walls of blood vessels. This increases the risk of coronary heart disease. Recommendations from the results of this study for further research is that it is hoped that this research can be used as literature on the dominant risk factor data for heart disease that occurs in hospitals.
