Sasambo: Jurnal Abdimas (Journal of Community Service) is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Lembaga Penelitian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (LITPAM) that publish 4 issues per year in February, May, August, and November. This journal accepts and publishes scientific articles that are original and focused on community service. Manuscripts are written using an academic approach or scientific method by presenting data on the impact of community service activities that have been carried out. The theme written must have an impact or can be generalized to local, regional or national populations such as various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society, as a form of contribution to empowerment and sustainable development in the social and humanities, science and technology fields.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan komitmen anggota dalam mewujudkan koperasi yang tangguh melalui pelatihan di Koperasi Harapan Maju Kuranji, Kota Padang. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah anggota koperasi yang berjumlah 50 orang dari total 456 anggota. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pengisian kuesioner untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan anggota, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), serta pemaparan materi oleh tim pengabdian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman anggota tentang peran koperasi, serta peningkatan motivasi dan komitmen mereka dalam berpartisipasi aktif. Evaluasi melalui kuesioner pra dan pasca pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran dan keterlibatan anggota dalam koperasi. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam memperkuat koperasi. Rekomendasi mencakup perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan dan peningkatan insentif bagi anggota agar koperasi terus berkembang dan berkelanjutan. Training on Enhancing Member Commitment and Motivation to Build a Resilient Cooperative at Harapan Maju Kuranji Cooperative Padang City This community service aims to enhance the motivation and commitment of members in building a resilient cooperative through training at the Harapan Maju Kuranji Cooperative in Padang City. The partners in this activity are cooperative members, with 50 participants out of a total of 456 members. The implementation methods include questionnaires to identify member needs, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and material presentations by the service team. The results show an increased understanding of the cooperative’s role, as well as improved motivation and commitment among members to participate actively. Evaluations through pre- and post-training questionnaires indicate a rise in awareness and engagement within the cooperative. The conclusion of this activity confirms that training is an effective strategy for strengthening cooperatives. Recommendations include the need for continuous training and increased incentives for members to ensure cooperative growth and sustainability.

Abstract

Pemasaran produk melalui media sosial menjadi strategi pemasaran termudah dan termurah dibandingkan dengan strategi konvensional karena tidak harus memiliki toko secara fisik. Akan tetapi, pelaku usaha memerlukan pemahaman yang baik mengenai strategi penggunaan media sosial agar sukses menarik pelanggan. Tujuan utama pengabdian masyarakat ini ialah mengedukasi para pengusaha UMKM di Manggar, Belitung Timur agar mampu bersaing di pasar digital. Metode pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa metode FGD, ceramah (pelatihan) dan diskusi. Strategi yang diberikan mencakup pemahaman tentang suhu pasar, tatacara posting, giveaway dan list building. Setelah pelatihan ini, berdasarkan hasil kuesioner pelaku UMKM di Manggar, Belitung Timur mendapatkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman mengenai strategi pemasaran melalui media sosial. Strategies to Attract Customers Through Social Media for UMKM Actors in Manggar East Belitung Marketing products through social media is the easiest and cheapest marketing strategy compared to conventional strategies because it does not need a physical store. However, business actors need a good understanding of social media strategies to successfully attract their customers. The main objective of this community service is to educate MSME actors in Manggar, East Belitung so that they can compete in the digital market. The community service method was done in the form of FGD, lectures (training) and discussions. The strategies provided for the training include an understanding of market temperature, posting procedures, giveaways and list building. After this training, based on the questionnaire result MSME actors in Manggar, East Belitung experienced a significant increase in participants' understanding of marketing strategies through social media. In addition, their products are known widely, not only in the national market but also in the international market

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi produktivitas dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan pertanian, dengan Mesin Tanam Padi Elektrik dan Sprayer Otomatis sebagai salah satu langkah strategis untuk membantu Kelompok Tani Sido Makmur I dalam menyelesaikan masalah saat musin tanam tiba. Metode pelaksanaannya dimulai dengan observasi terhadap kondisi lapangan, dilanjutkan dengan diskusi untuk merumuskan rencana, dilaksanakan pelatihan kepada anggota Kelompok Tani Sido Makmur I, dan terakhir dilakukan evaluasi. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah Kelompok Tani Sido Makmur I yang beranggotakan 15 petani. Hasil dari satu hektar sawah dengan penggunaan mesin tanam padi elektrik mampu menggantikan tenaga kerja manual, mengurangi kebutuhan tenaga kerja dari 25 orang menjadi 8 orang, dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses penanaman dari semula 8 jam mampu menjadi 5 jam. Selain itu, penggunaan sprayer otomatis juga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam penyemprotan pestisida. Di samping penerapan teknologi, peningkatan manajemen kelompok tani menjadi solusi kunci dalam pembukuan yang baik memungkinkan kelompok tani untuk melacak pengeluaran dan pendapatan secara lebih akurat sehingga mempermudah dalam perencanaan keuangan dan pengambilan keputusan ekonomi. Application of Electric Rice Planting Machines and Automatic Sprayers as well as group management in optimizing the productivity of the Sido Makmur I Farmer Group This service aims to optimize productivity and efficiency in agricultural management, with Electric Rice Planting Machines and Automatic Sprayers as one of the strategic steps to help the Sido Makmur I Farmer Group in solving problems when the planting season arrives. The implementation method begins with observation of field conditions, followed by discussions to formulate plans, training is carried out for members of the Sido Makmur I Farmers Group, and finally an evaluation is carried out. The partner in this service is the Sido Makmur I Farmers Group, which consists of 15 farmers. The results from one hectare of rice fields using an electric rice planting machine can replace manual labor, reduce the need for labor from 25 people to 8 people, and increase the efficiency of the planting process from 8 hours to 5 hours. Apart from that, using an automatic sprayer can also increase efficiency in spraying pesticides. In addition to the application of technology, improving farmer group management is a key solution in good bookkeeping, enabling farmer groups to track expenses and income more accurately, making financial planning and economic decision making easier.
