Nubuat : Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Katolik, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia, adalah sebuah terbitan akademik yang mengeksplorasi berbagai aspek penting dalam pendidikan agama Kristen dan Katolik. Abstract

The moral crisis and rampant corruption among Christian leaders pose serious challenges that erode the credibility and integrity of religious institutions. This phenomenon not only tarnishes the image of Christianity institutionally but also weakens the foundation of ethics and spiritual values that should guide the lives of the congregation. This issue becomes even more pressing when it occurs in the realm of Christian education, a place where future leaders should be formed. This study aims to analyze Jonathan Lamb's concept of integrity as a strategic framework for addressing this crisis, especially in the context of Christian educational institutions. Using a qualitative approach and literature review, this study highlights Lamb's holistic view of integrity, which encompasses three main dimensions: wholeness of the person (wholeness), consistency between beliefs and actions (consistency), and full accountability to God (accountability to God). Lamb's concept of integrity is highly relevant amidst the increasing need for leaders who are not only competent but also possess proven character. The findings of this study indicate that to effectively implement the concept of integrity, Christian educational institutions need to take a two-pronged approach: first, comprehensively reform the curriculum so that integrity values are not only a separate subject, but are integrated into all disciplines and learning activities; Second, building an institutional culture that emphasizes moral exemplarity from leaders, lecturers, and educational staff. Furthermore, a sustainable character development system, transparent accountability evaluation, and open ethical discussion are needed. Education is not only about knowledge transfer, but also about character transformation. Therefore, integrity must be seen as the core of Christian education, not an add-on. This study concludes that Lamb's concept of integrity can be a transformative model that encourages the formation of future leaders with strong character, prevents moral failure, and restores public trust in Christian institutions

Abstract

Mission constitutes a fundamental dimension of the Catholic Church’s identity, intrinsically linked to the divine mandate to participate in God’s work of salvation in the world. Within this framework, the consecrated life of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit (SSpS) embodies a distinctive expression of Trinitarian spirituality and a prophetic missionary vocation. In the context of Timor Island, this charism is concretely manifested through ministries that directly engage with the realities of local communities. This study adopts a qualitative methodology with a literature review approach, drawing on theological sources, congregational spirituality, and the SSpS Constitution to explore the theological and practical dimensions of the sisters’ mission. The research aims to analyze how the life and apostolate of the SSpS Sisters serve as a tangible witness to the presence of the Triune God, particularly through works in education, healthcare, social services, and pastoral ministry. The findings indicate that the sisters’ mission is deeply rooted in a faith experience centered on the Most Holy Trinity, which shapes their incarnational and intercultural approach to ministry. Their service reflects a prophetic commitment to empowering marginalized communities, promoting human dignity, and fostering social transformation. Furthermore, the integration of religious vows with active engagement in societal issues illustrates a spirituality that bridges contemplation and action, grounded in both fidelity to the Gospel and responsiveness to contextual needs. In conclusion, the consecrated life of the SSpS Sisters on Timor Island stands as a visible and dynamic sign of God’s salvific and prophetic presence. Through their holistic and transformative ministries, they contribute significantly to the mission of the Church and the common good of society, embodying a vision of the “civilization of love” rooted in Trinitarian communion and expressed in concrete service to humanity.

Abstract

This article examines Herbert Marcuse's thoughts in One Dimensional Man as a critique of the dominance of technology and capitalism in shaping the one-dimensional consciousness of modern humans. Using a critical philosophical approach, this study examines how digital technology, which was originally projected as an instrument of liberation, has actually transformed into a subtle means of oppression through the mechanisms of false needs and irrational rationality. Instead of opening up a space for emancipation, technological developments often deepen human attachment to the logic of the consumption-oriented digital capitalist system. The main goal of this research is to reawaken critical awareness and human negation in the midst of virtual reality that increasingly dominates life in the Society 5.0 era. The results of the study show that digital humans tend to experience existential alienation, where deep reflection and authentic freedom are reduced by the flow of instant information, pseudo-entertainment, and consumptive lifestyles. This condition makes individuals trapped in a cycle of obedience to a system that seems rational, when in fact it covers structural dominance. The discussion emphasized the importance of emancipation efforts through the rejection of the dominant system and the reactivation of critical potential as a path to true freedom. Emancipation is understood not only as a release from the shackles of technology, but also as an effort to revive reflective consciousness that is able to negate false values. Thus, Marcuse's thought remains relevant to reading the crisis of contemporary human consciousness while providing a philosophical foundation for the formation of a reflective, independent, and autonomous subject.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of Sunday school materials on Sunday school behavior at GKPS Marubun Lokkung in 2025. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence between Sunday school materials on Sunday school behavior at GKPS Marubun Lokkung in 2025. Descriptive quantitative research method. The total population of Sunday school children aged 8-11 years at GKPS Marubun Lokkung in 2025 is 35 people. The research respondents were the entire population of Sunday school children aged 8-11, totaling 35 people, so this research was population research. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value of rcount=0.587>rtable=0.334 shows that there is a positive relationship between Sunday school material and Sunday school behavior at GKPS Marubun Lokkung in 2025. b) Regression equation. c) The determination test revealed that the magnitude of the effect was 34.46%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=16.946>Ftable=3.32 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive influence between Sunday school materials on Sunday school behavior at GKPS Marubun Lokkung in 2025.
