Nubuat : Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Katolik, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia, adalah sebuah terbitan akademik yang mengeksplorasi berbagai aspek penting dalam pendidikan agama Kristen dan Katolik. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan platform bagi para akademisi, praktisi, dan pemikir untuk berbagi pemikiran, penelitian, dan pengalaman praktis mereka dalam pengembangan dan penerapan pendidikan agama Kristen dan Katolik. Setiap edisi dari jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel yang mendalam tentang topik-topik yang relevan dengan pendidikan agama Kristen dan Katolik, seperti pengembangan kurikulum, metode pengajaran yang efektif, peran pendidikan agama dalam pembentukan karakter, tantangan-tantangan dalam konteks pendidikan modern, serta implikasi dari ajaran agama dalam praktik pendidikan sehari-hari. Jurnal ini terbit 1 tahun 4 kali (Maret, Juni, September, dan Desember).

This article aims to examine in depth the responsibility of parents in instilling the value of love in their children based on the teachings of the Bible, especially Deuteronomy 6:5-7. Through a literature approach, this research will analyze the meaning of these verses and their implications in the context of child care in the modern era. that teaching love is not just about giving instructions, but also creating an environment full of love and attention. <![CDATA[This article discusses the synergy between Christianity and Batak culture, which is characterized by a reciprocal relationship that changes each other. The process of inculturation of the Christian faith in Batak society shows that religion is not only passively adopted, but is also adapted to meet the spiritual needs of the community. This research reveals how the Batak people who adhere to Christianity try to maintain their cultural identity while integrating the values of the Christian faith. This can be seen in various traditional ceremonies which are now adapted to the Christian context, such as the use of ulos motifs in church liturgy and the incorporation of traditional music in worship. The synergy between Christianity and Batak culture has significant social implications, creating space for dialogue between the older and younger generations regarding the importance of maintaining traditions while opening up to new teachings. Thus, this article highlights the complexity of the interaction between Christianity and Batak culture and the importance of understanding the inculturation process as part of the social and spiritual dynamics of society.]]>

<![CDATA[This article explores the role of the Nestorian Church in spreading Christianity throughout Asia and examines its possible presence in the Indonesian archipelago. Using a qualitative-historical approach and content analysis of primary and secondary sources, this study highlights the Nestorians' contributions in China since the 7th century, particularly in education and healthcare. While their presence in Indonesia remains debated, evidence such as activity in the port of Barus suggests they introduced Christianity through trade networks. However, their influence was curtailed by political shifts, the rise of Islam, and limited socio-political support. This study underscores the significance of the East Syrian tradition in shaping Asian Christian identity and calls for deeper inquiry into Nestorian traces in Southeast Asia. The article enriches the discourse on Asian Christian history by presenting a fresh perspective on cross-cultural faith transmission.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the application of communication media in learning by third-semester students of the Advanced Education Program (PPA). Communication media plays a crucial role in the learning process as it can enhance understanding and interaction between lecturers and students. This research uses a descriptive approach with a survey method involving third-semester students from a university. The results of the study indicate that most students use various communication media, such as online learning platforms, instant messaging apps, and social media, to support their learning. These communication media have been proven effective in facilitating access to materials, group discussions, and communication between students and lecturers. However, challenges such as technological limitations and motivational issues were also identified. This study recommends that educational institutions continue to develop and utilize appropriate communication technologies to improve the quality of learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Visual design at the HKBP Tapian Nauli Church plays an important role in providing counseling to young people. The message conveyed tends to be more effective if the design elements are adjusted to the preferences of the young audience, such as the use of modern colors and typography. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that design has a strategic role in religious counseling at the HKBP Tapian Nauli Church, especially in conveying messages to young people. Design is used as a supporting media that not only attracts attention but also helps clarify the religious values that are to be conveyed.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the role of communication media in the extension process in Aekraja Village. Communication media, especially interpersonal communication, is considered to have a significant influence in conveying information and building relationships between extension workers and the Aekraja village community. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observation methods. The results of the research show that interpersonal communication, such as face-to-face dialogue and group discussions, is the main effective medium in the counseling process in Aekraja Village. This is due to its ability to convey messages directly, provide feedback opportunities, and create trust between extension agents and the community. However, this research also found several challenges, such as low levels of media literacy and differences in understanding between individuals, which affect the success of extension. T]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses the cognitive development of 5-6 year old children in PAUD KB Ananda. Early childhood cognitive abilities in PAUD KB Ananda are described in this study. It includes aspects of cognitive development such as creativity, problem-solving, memory, and thinking skills. This research was conducted through case studies and a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews with teachers and parents. The results of the study showed that most children in PAUD KB Ananda showed good cognitive development according to their age, although there were individual differences in development levels. Certain children are highly creative and critical, but some require further stimulation for some cognitive aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the extent of the positive and significant relationship between the professional competence of Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers and the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Balige in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive inferential approach. The population of the study consists of all class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Balige, totaling 149 students. The sampling method used is random sampling, with a sample size of 54 students. The research instruments used are a closed questionnaire to measure the professional competence of teachers and UH (Ulangan Harian or Daily Test) scores to measure student learning outcomes. The data analysis results show that: a) the correlation test obtained a value of rcount = 0.293, which is greater than rtable = 0.226, indicating a positive relationship between the two variables; b) the significance test yielded a value of tcount = 2.210, which is greater than ttable = 2.000, meaning the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the professional competence of CRE teachers has a significant relationship with student learning outcomes. Therefore, improving teachers’ professional competence is expected to enhance student learning outcomes. This study contributes to the development of education and can serve as a reference for teachers and schools to improve the quality of teaching.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Sunday School Material on the Behavior of Sunday School Children at GKPS Marubun Lokkung 2025. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population used by the researcher was the total number of Sunday school children aged 8 to 11 years at the GKPS Marubun Lokkung Church in 2025 as many as 30 people and the sample in the study was all populations totaling 30 people. Data were collected using a positive closed questionnaire of 30 items. The results of data analysis show that there is an Influence of Sunday School Materials on the Behavior of Sunday School Children at GKPS Marubun Lokkung 2025: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) A positive relationship test is obtained by the value of the Influence of Sunday School Materials on the Behavior of Sunday School Children at GKPS Marubun Lokkung 2025. rxy = 0.621> rtable (α = 0.05; n = 30) = 0.361 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) A significant relationship test is obtained by tcount = 5.322> rtable (α = 0.05; n = 28) = 2.048 thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.]]>
