Abstract

The world of education today is not only a space for academic development but also a social arena where students' identity and existence are shaped. Along with the massive development of digital technology and social media, there has been a significant shift in student lifestyles that triggers the emergence of a consumerist culture, the "flexing" phenomenon, and the fear of missing out (FOMO). This article aims to examine the lifestyle of students and the forms of social pressure (peer pressure) that arise within the educational environment, along with their impacts on students' psychosocial development. The method used in this writing is a literature review sourced from books, scientific articles, and other relevant references. The results of the discussion indicate that the strong urge to conform to the standards of both digital and real social groups has shifted students' social interaction patterns from face-to-face to online communication. The combination of modern lifestyle demands and academic expectations from teachers, parents, and institutions potentially creates a double burden that triggers anxiety, low self-esteem, and a decline in students' mental health. Through this study, it is hoped that educators, parents, and students can reflect together to create a healthier, more adaptive, and supportive educational environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on financial distress using the Altman Z-Score approach in oil and gas companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period. Liquidity is proxied by the Current Ratio (CR), leverage by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and profitability by Return on Assets (ROA). This study employed a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique, resulting in a sample of 13 companies. The analytical methods employed included descriptive statistics, panel data regression analysis, and classical assumption testing, including tests for normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. Hypothesis testing was conducted using partial t-tests using EViews 12 software. The results showed that liquidity negatively impacted financial distress, leverage positively impacted financial distress, and profitability negatively impacted financial distress. This suggests that increasing liquidity and profitability can reduce the potential for financial distress, while increasing leverage actually increases the risk of financial distress.

Abstract

The digital transformation and development of artificial intelligence (AI) have shifted the paradigm of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and presented challenges in maintaining its relevance to the needs of a digital society. This study aims to analyze the urgency of reconstructing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning based on a multidisciplinary approach in addressing digital transformation and the development of AI. The study employed a qualitative approach with library research. Data were obtained from scientific articles, books, proceedings, and relevant national and international institutional documents. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that reconstructing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning requires integrating Islamic studies, educational technology, psychology, sociology, digital ethics, and data literacy to achieve adaptive, contextual, and character-building learning. The use of AI should be positioned as a learning support instrument, used proportionally under teacher guidance, to strengthen students' critical thinking skills, digital literacy, and moral responsibility. This study provides a conceptual contribution to the development of innovative, humanistic, and Islamic-value-based PAI learning in the digital era.
