Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services with assertiveness training techniques in reducing people pleaser behavior in class XI D3 students of SMA Negeri Colomadu. People pleasers are individuals who tend to prioritize the needs of others above themselves, find it difficult to refuse requests, are afraid of being shunned, and often ignore personal happiness in order to gain acceptance and approval from others. The research method used was an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 8 class XI D3 students selected by purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire that measured the level of people pleaser behavior of students before and after being given group guidance with assertiveness training techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test, the sig. value was 0.012 <0.05, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The results showed that there was a significant decrease in people pleaser behavior of students after participating in group counseling with assertiveness training techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers in guidance and counseling. The role of teachers in implementing guidance and counseling must be able to involve parties in the school such as students, subject teachers, principals and parents so that the guidance and counseling program can be implemented properly. Because many things or problems often arise in students when following the learning process at school. The role of teachers referred to in this study is the role of teachers as guides, counselors, informants, facilitators, mediators, collaborators, organizers, motivators, directors, initiators, transmitters, and evaluators in achieving educational success in schools. This type of research uses a literature review method. Literature review is a type of research that focuses on the study and analysis of literature, both books, articles, journals, research reports, and other relevant sources of information. The results of this study can be concluded that the role of teachers in guidance and counseling is very important to support the learning process, including helping students adjust and develop according to their needs, talents, interests, and personalities at school.

Abstract

One of the importanr concepts in teaching in schools is classroom management. Based on the results of literature studies, effective learning can increase student’s motivation and enthusiasm for learning. This article provides general information about the definition of classroom, and important tips that teachers use to ensure that the learning process is successful. In addition, this article highlight the importance of school guidance to increase student’s motivation in learning and identify potential problems that may arise during the learning process. By understanding the principles of effective classroom management and implementing appropriate strategies, teachers can create a safe and healthy learning environment and help students become more motivated and respectful of others. This article uses a literature analysis method based on relevant sources.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the level of profit sharing on customers' decisions in choosing mudharabah deposit products at BPRS Hik Parahyangan. Mudharabah deposits are a sharia banking product that offers sharing of business results between the bank and customers based on an agreed ratio. The findings of this research indicate that the level of profit sharing has a significant influence on customers' decisions to invest in mudharabah deposit products. The higher the level of profit sharing offered, the greater the customer's interest in placing their funds. However, other factors such as bank reputation, economic conditions and risk management also influence customer decisions. BPRS Hik Parahyangan needs to maintain a balance between offering competitive profit sharing rates and ensuring the continuity of bank operations through careful risk management. Apart from that, a good bank reputation and transparent fund management are important factors in building customer trust. This research provides recommendations for BPRS Hik Parahyangan to pay attention to these factors in its mudharabah deposit management strategy in order to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role and application of descriptive and inferential statistics in guidance and counseling research. Descriptive statistics are employed to present data characteristics such as perceptions, attitudes, and satisfaction levels toward counseling services, while inferential statistics are used to test hypotheses, explore relationships between variables, and assess the effectiveness of counseling programs. This qualitative review analyzed 15 relevant international journal articles. The findings indicate that the use of statistics in counseling research not only enhances the validity and reliability of findings but also aids school counselors in making data-driven decisions. The study recommends improving statistical literacy among guidance and counseling practitioners and researchers as a crucial step toward strengthening evidence-based practices.
