Journal of Education, Language, Social and Management is a research journal published since 2023 by Cendekia Indonesia. This journal aims to disseminate research results to academics, practitioners, students and other parties interested in the fields of Education Management and Social sciences, which include Curriculum Management, English Literature, Language, Graduate Management, Learning Process Management, Facilities and Infrastructure Management, Education Management, Financing Management, Assessment Management, Management of Educators and Education Personnel, Leadership Education, Educational Policy and Planning, Educational Economics, Educational Politics, Law, Management, Economics, Psychology, etc. The editor accepts manuscripts that have never been published by other media. The research published is the personal opinion of the researcher and is not the opinion of the editor or Dynasty Review. A journal that is published regularly two (2) times a year, with a publication frequency in December and June. Abstract

The research method employed was descriptive qualitative research, and the goal of the study was to examine the forms and meanings of speech acts in the film The Man Who Knew Infinity's dialogues. The results show that there are 45 forms and meanings of speech acts in fifteen dialogues containing Locutionary, Illocutionary, and Perlocutionary Acts in the dialogues of Matthew Brown's film "The Man Who Knew Infinity," focusing on the analysis of speech acts of the theory of a British philosopher of language, namely John Langshaw Austin as described in his book "How To Do Things" (1962).

Abstract

This study describes the strengthening of educational leadership as a solution to the problems of Islamic education. The approach in this study was carried out with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was obtained using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis in this study used data reduction techniques, data presentation, and concluding/verification. Checking or checking the validity of the data used credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability techniques. The results of this study indicate that strengthening educational leadership is the most important and urgent variable to create/realize quality Islamic education. As a leader who should be followed and can be used as an ideal model for leadership, namely: Sidiq, Amanah, Tablig, and Fathonah. Strengthening educational leadership is a balance between the concepts in leadership solutions in Islam and Islamic principles and placing the task of leadership not only as a responsible humanitarian task but also answering the problematics of Islamic education. Strengthening educational leadership and developing the quality of Islamic educational institutions will be greatly influenced by the leadership developed by individuals in leading Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to dig into the trend of globalization, cultural diversity, environmental issues, legal awareness of citizens, cultural pluralism and ethnic diversity in elementary school social science. This method of study belongs to a descriptive analysis study using the method for library research to study and address the issues and social issues of elementary school learning cultures. The data-gathering techniques in this study by locating and gathering data that support the cultural issues and problems of elementary school children's social sciences, both from books and journals. Thereafter, the data obtained was analyzed in order to achieve what was achieved intact and to draw conclusions and answer rules. The result of this study is first, the trend of globalization and the diversity of cultures in Indonesia became the central subject of IPS education regarding issues that people face in the social order of life. Second, environmental issues become the most influential IPS study subjects. Third, citizen legal awareness is appropriate to consider with regard to the application of the law in the lives of citizens especially for trainees who can be accepted as applying it in IPS study. Fourth, cultural pluralism and ethnic diversity are discussions of cultural issues and issues that often arise in society even in small spheres by learners in classes or schools.

Abstract

Globalization is currently developing very rapidly and is extraordinary. Changes occur in all aspects of life, especially in the field of education. The sophistication of technology makes various information so easily available. This certainly affects the paradigm in the world of education. Student needs or learning objectives slowly change following the times. But unfortunately, currently there are still a lot of educators who have not changed their mindset towards the intelligence of students. There are still many educators who think that smart/intelligent children are children who have high scores in all subjects, especially mathematics and science. Whereas the purpose of learning is that each student is able to overcome their respective problems, of course where the capacity or problems faced by each child will be different. Students are social beings, who will later interact in the community. In community groups, of course, everyone plays their respective roles according to their fields and abilities. Therefore it is time for educators to change their paradigm about student intelligence, towards or oriented to multiple intelligences (multiple intelligences ).

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the structure of the curriculum and its implementation in Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Maqamam Mahmuda Takengon. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The problems discussed in this study are how the structure of the curriculum and its implementation in Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Maqamam Mahmuda Takengon. The results showed that the curriculum structure at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Maqamam Mahmuda Takengon implemented a modern pesantren education curriculum, namely the Gontor curriculum and the ministry of religion curriculum which consisted of religious, language and general subjects. The implementation of the curriculum goes well according to a predetermined schedule. Teachers who teach subjects have expertise in their respective fields. All religious teachers are alumni of modern Islamic boarding schools and master the yellow book. Teachers use various strategies in the learning process. Evaluation of learning through written and practical exams.
