Abstract

Banana fronds, which are generally considered agricultural waste, have substantial potential to be processed into creative products with high economic value. Despite Indonesia's abundance of natural resources, such as banana trees, the use of banana leaves remains limited. This article examines ideas for developing the creative economy through training aimed at enhancing the economic worth of creative items derived from banana fronds. This project seeks to ascertain the potential of banana fronds, develop effective training modules, and evaluate the effects of training on community skill enhancement, innovative product development, and revenue augmentation. The employed study methodology is participatory action research (PAR), which engages local communities through problem identification, action planning, training execution, and ongoing evaluation. Research indicates that extensive training encompassing raw material processing, product design, natural dyeing methods, and marketing strategies can substantially convert banana fronds from waste into economic resources. Product developments, including bags, caps, storage boxes, and domestic decorations crafted from banana fronds, demonstrate market appeal and the potential for the advancement of a community-based creative economy. Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) provide a crucial economic foundation in Indonesia, although they frequently encounter obstacles in creating products with substantial and lasting added value. Product innovation is essential for MSMEs to thrive in a progressively competitive global marketplace. This article examines techniques for empowering MSMEs to enhance high-value product creation. This project aims to identify the barriers to innovation encountered by MSMEs, develop effective mentorship models, and assess the effects of interventions on enhancing innovation capacity and producing high-value goods. The employed research methodology is a qualitative case study, incorporating in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis of MSMEs that have either innovated or are attempting to innovate. The study's results indicate that access to product design training, prototype development, the utilisation of basic technologies, and collaboration with specialists and research institutes can substantially motivate MSMEs to develop high-value goods. This article aids in the formulation of more focused empowerment policies and initiatives to promote sustainable innovation within the MSME sector

Abstract

Sustainable village development necessitates proficient and transparent economic administration, exemplified as Village-Owned Enterprises (VOE). This project seeks to enhance the quality of financial recording and reporting in the village, which previously employed a manual system. The employed methodology is Project-Based Learning (PBL) for mentoring and teaching, utilising a basic accounting application developed in Microsoft Excel. The help yielded a notable enhancement in the capacity of Village-Owned Enterprises' management to create accurate and methodical reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards. The deployment of this program enhances the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of VOE's financial management while enabling human resources to adapt to the digitalisation of village administration. Challenges, including inadequate technology resources and initial opposition to change, persist; therefore, additional training and continuous mentoring are advised. This study significantly contributes to enhancing independent and competitive village economic governance via the digitisation of VOE financial management

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) constitute the foundation of the Indonesian economy. Nonetheless, numerous MSMEs have obstacles in accessing a broader market, particularly in the current digital age. This article examines ideas for empowering MSMEs through online marketing to enhance their competitiveness and sustainability. This project aims to identify barriers, develop effective training models, and assess the effects of online marketing deployment on enhancing revenue and broadening the market reach of MSMEs. The methods used included reviewing existing literature and conducting surveys with MSME participants, followed by both detailed qualitative and quantitative analyses. The study's findings indicate that organised training and mentoring in digital platform utilisation, social media optimisation, and the creation of compelling marketing materials can substantially enhance the competitive capacities of MSMEs in the online marketplace. This article aids in the formulation of policies and initiatives aimed at empowering MSMEs in a more focused and sustainable manner.

Abstract

Proficient financial literacy is a crucial basis for home economic stability and enhanced family welfare. Numerous families in Indonesia continue to encounter difficulties in financial management, frequently resulting in issues such as substantial debt, insufficient savings, or inadequate preparedness for emergencies. This essay addresses the imperative of educating individuals in family financial management as a strategic initiative to enhance financial literacy. This project aims to assess the current level of financial literacy, develop participatory and pertinent educational models, evaluate the effects of educational implementation on favourable financial behaviour, and enhance family welfare indicators. The employed methodologies included questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD) with family heads and homemakers. The findings indicate that organised and sustainable educational initiatives, focusing on budgeting, basic investment strategies, debt management, and the significance of insurance, can markedly enhance comprehension and application of financial management, which ultimately correlates positively with improved family welfare. This article aids in the development of more effective and inclusive financial literacy education policies and initiatives.

Abstract

This service seeks to bridge the disparity between the potential of local resources and the limited capacity of the residents of Village X in transforming items into competitive creative economy commodities, resulting in stagnant income. The primary issue encountered is the deficiency in knowledge and expertise about product innovation, business management, and the utilization of digital channels for marketing. This service activity aims to enhance the capabilities of village communities by providing intense training and ongoing support in the creative economy sector, particularly in handicrafts and culinary arts, while also expanding market access through digitization. This service's innovation is rooted in the implementation of the Community-Based Creative Incubation Model , which combines hard skills (production) with soft skills (management and digital marketing) training in a comprehensive group format. The service results indicated a substantial enhancement in product diversification, superior package quality, and a market reach expansion of up to 60% via e-commerce, which connected positively with a rise in the income of supported company groups

Abstract

This service seeks to bridge the knowledge gap and execute a comprehensive service marketing strategy (7P) for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the service sector of City Y, which has led to their entrapment in unsustainable price competition. The primary issue encountered is the disproportionate emphasis on products and pricing (the traditional 4P's), neglecting the essential components of services, including People, Process, and Physical Evidence. The objective of this program is to deliver comprehensive training and mentorship to enhance service quality, establish distinctive differences, and cultivate customer loyalty through the application of the 7P Service Marketing framework. This service's innovation is the creation of a Customer Journey Simulation-based Service Quality Transformation (SQT) Model for local service MSMEs. The findings indicated a 25% rise in the average customer satisfaction score (CSAT), a 30% enhancement in the adoption of digital feedback systems, and improved service process efficiency, all of which directly bolstered competitiveness and customer loyalty.

Abstract

This service bridges the significant disparity between the vast potential of the digital market and the inadequate digital literacy skills prevalent among Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The primary challenge confronting SMEs is their incapacity to convert social media platforms, such as Instagram and TikTok, from simple communication tools into potent sales mechanisms, resulting in a competitive disadvantage against more agile commercial entities. This program aims to provide practical training and direct support to help SMEs improve their skills in creating, planning, and analyzing marketing content that works well with digital platform algorithms. This program's innovation is in the Content-to-Commerce (C2C) Model, which integrates engaging visual content with direct connectivity to WhatsApp Business and marketplaces, alongside an emphasis on straightforward metric analysis. The results showed that during the mentorship period, SME accounts had a 45% boost in engagement, a 30% growth in followers, and a notable 20% rise in sales conversions

This service addresses the misconception that stock investment necessitates substantial cash and is inherently risky, despite the fact that fractional stock innovation has removed these financial hurdles. The primary issue encountered is the inadequate comprehension of basic fundamental analysis, leading to apprehension about investing and susceptibility to trends devoid of a robust base. The objective of this program is to enhance stock investment literacy, particularly the participants' capacity to analyze blue-chip stocks through fundamental ratios (PER and PBV), and to promote initial investments with minimal cash. This service's innovation is the Stock Micro-Investment Module (MIS), which emphasizes long-term investment (buy and hold) methods rather than day trading. The findings indicated a 45% rise in the average fundamental analytical literacy score among participants, with 80% successfully executing their initial fractional share purchase from a blue-chip issuer, thereby establishing a secure and quantifiable avenue for stock ownership

The primary issue is the inadequate financial inclusion in quantifiable risk investment vehicles, such as equities and mutual funds. This initiative aims to enhance financial literacy and promote public engagement by presenting investment concepts on the capital market with accessible capital. This service's innovation is in the Financial Inclusion for Millennials (FIM) Module, which emphasizes practical simulation of establishing a digital Customer Fund Account and executing initial transactions with mutual fund instruments and fractional shares. The findings indicated a 40% rise in the average investment literacy score among participants, with 75% successfully executing their first investment transaction, hence facilitating genuine access to the capital market
