Abstract

This research focuses on the application of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology as an innovative solution for the payment system at Islamic Boarding School. The current manual payment system causes several problems, such as excessively long queues, human error, and lack of parental supervision of financial transactions. The purpose of this research is to design and implement an RFID-based payment system to address these problems by increasing transaction speed, reducing errors, and improving operational efficiency. This system is designed to facilitate fast and accurate payments while minimizing human intervention. This research uses a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach with a Waterfall model to ensure the system development process runs systematically and structured, from the design stage to implementation. The results show that the RFID-based payment system successfully increases transaction efficiency, reduces queues, and provides better financial monitoring for administrators and students. This system is also in line with the goal of modernizing Islamic boarding school operations, creating a more professional and enjoyable environment. This research highlights the benefits and challenges in implementing RFID technology in an academic environment, and provides recommendations for further development in the future.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has made user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design strategic elements in interactive system development. A number of previous studies have discussed UI/UX from various perspectives, ranging from visual aesthetics, emotional design approaches, to the application of adaptive interfaces and personalization on various digital platforms. However, studies that integrate these findings into a comprehensive literature review are still relatively limited. This study aims to examine and synthesize the results of research related to UI/UX design with an emphasis on aesthetic, emotional, and adaptive aspects based on five relevant scientific articles. The research method used is a literature review by analyzing the research objectives, methods applied, and main findings of each study. The results of the study show that visual aesthetic quality has a significant influence on initial perception and user satisfaction levels, while emotion-based design plays a role in increasing user engagement and interaction experience. In addition, the application of adaptive and personalized interfaces has been proven to increase the effectiveness and comfort of use in various application contexts. This study also identified that the user-centered design approach is the dominant framework in UI/UX development. Thus, the results of this literature review are expected to serve as a conceptual reference for researchers and practitioners in designing user interfaces that are more responsive, adaptive, and user-oriented.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an information system for providing cover letters for Family Cards (KK) and Resident Identity Cards (KTP) at the Ngenep Village Office. The system development method uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) approach with stages of planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The system was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results show that this system can facilitate the public in submitting cover letter applications online without having to come to the village office, and assist officers in data management and reporting. This system is expected to improve the efficiency of population administration services at the village level.
