Abstract

This result project built a system of feeding and drinking chicken automatically using ATMEGA-328 microcontroller. This automated tool uses two parts: the first container serves as a reservoir of food and water and the second container is functioned as a feed and water distribution place. The volume of feed and water is measured using ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 which has a function to control the height of feed and water in reserve storage of feed and water. The microcontroller circuit as the controller receives input to know the volume of feed and water and send status data to GSM SIM900A module in the form of AT Command command to be forwarded to destination number then the result will be displayed in the form of message.

Abstract

Information security is an important part of an academic information system, including Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi (UMMI). Information security is conducted to protect UMMI assets, especially data and information. Data and information have become an important asset in an organization because it relates to the image of the organization. At this time academic information system at UMMI is built online, causing various threats that may occur. Threats can arise inside or outside. If the threat occurs then the information security aspect will be disrupted and enable the disruption of business process on academic information system of UMMI. The likelihood of this threat is called risk. To minimize losses from risks, risk management should be done well. The risk management method used in risk management in the academic information system of UMMI is ISO 27005. The selection of this method to facilitate the development in the next stage of information security management system on UMMI Academic Information System uses ISO 27000 series. Data collection is done by interview and discussion. The risk management process under ISO 27005 includes four main steps: scope determination, risk assessment, risk treatment and risk acceptance. The result of the risk assessment found 73 possible threat scenarios divided into 3 risk levels, which were 2 low risks, 64 medium risks and 7 high risks. Out of 73 threat scenarios, 47 were made to risk treatment planning. Results of the risk treatment plan, 19 modified risks, 1 risk transferred and 27 risks could be avoided. This risk treatment plan is a recommendation for the leadership of UMMI to conduct risk management.

Abstract

It is common that evaluation on plant health is done by conducting measurement on photosynthetic pigments. Analysis of the presence or absence of some particular pigments could reveal any information about plant responses to the environment or climate changes. This is due to the fact that relative pigment concentrations are influenced by environmental factors such as light and nutrient availability. In this research, a non-destructive and rapid method was developed to identify the existence of photosynthetic pigments in plant leaf i.e. chlorophyll, carotenoid, and anthocyanin. The method used leaf’s RGB digital image as the color representation of the pigments contained in the plant being evaluated. The intelligence agent which is responsible to learn the data and provide information about the pigments was developed based on convolutional neural network (CNN) model. This model was chosen due to its capability to receive a digital image and automatically search for the best feature to learn it. Therefore, plant evaluation could run in real time. The result of the experiment reveals that CNN model could learn the color-pigment relationship very well. The best architecture is ShallowNet using Adam optimizer, batch size 30 and trained with 15 epoch. The MSE of the pigments prediction reaches 0.0055 (actual data range -0.2 up to 2.2) for training and 0.029 for testing.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to develop an image recognition system for distinguishing dog breeds using Keras’ pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network models and to compare the accuracy between those models. Specifically, the models utilized are ResNet50, Xception, and VGG16. The system that we develop here is a web application using Flask as its development framework. Moreover, this research also explains how the deep learning approaches, such as CNN, can distinguish an object in an image. After testing the system on a set of images manually, we learn that every model has different performance, and Xception came out as the best in term of accuracy. We also test the acceptance of the user interface we develop to the end-users.

Abstract

MJM is a small company that works in the automotive business especially for a two-wheeled vehicle. Nowadays MJM has already using the information system to make the listings for the items, sales, and procurement. When the stock is getting low, MJM orders the item to the supplier but sometimes it’s not optimal because the amount of the items they bought are always too much or too less than the needs, and sometimes they ordered the items on the wrong time. The goal here is to make the owner of the shop able to analyze the optimal amount of items when ordering using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method and to analyze when is the right time to reorder the items using ROP (ReOrder Point), so in the future this application will be useful for the owner.

Abstract

Many species of a mammal often adopt as a pet animal. Pet healthy is a factor to be considered because pets are prone to disease. Another problem is lack of veterinarian or pet clinic in Tasikmalaya region. Making an expert system to diagnose pet diseases based on its symptoms is an alternative to overcome these problems. This expert system implements certainty factor to manage uncertainty in diagnosing process and uses forward chaining as a strategy for inferring the diagnose process based on rules. One of the results of this research is a set of rules as a knowledge representation for diagnosing pet diseases; there are six rules for diagnosing rabies, parainfluenza, distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and coronavirus. Furthermore, the testing of calculation accurately shows that result of manual testing and software testing is the same. The certainty factor in the first trial is 0.8, and for the second one is 0.85, these mean that the certainty value is high enough to accept.

Abstract

Praying is a pillar of Islam based on the law that is divided into two kinds namely Mandatory and Sunnah. People usually are not aware of how to perform prayers properly and correctly, because prayer education is still given conventional only using the book as a guide. Therefore it is a necessary alternative learning media using augmented reality technology which is applied to mobile android, so users can learn the guidance of prayer anywhere and anytime. The application that was built in this research is based on interactive multimedia using augmented reality technology, where the user not only read and view the picture but they can also see the motion animation along with the sound of the movement prayer. The user also can notice the whole movement of prayers from all sides, both from the front, side or the back. Testing was conducted on 20 respondents with age criteria of 10 until 40 years. The result shows 80% respondents that had tried the application agree that the application has an attractive appearance, for the information presented is clear, and it is easy to use and responsive. The conclusion shows that the application is feasible to use.

Abstract

The presence of the information technology (IT) has important roles for the Law Bureau on the dissemination of information and law products in Central Sulawesi. As is the urgency for the law information that leads to enhance the quality of public service, the presence of Law Documentation Network Department (JDIH) in Central Sulawesi was expected to be a responsible department in order to deploy the law information with the implementation of information technology by website. This research uses qualitative method on data retrieval, that is done by interview to several staffs in Law Bureau, Central Sulawesi. The result of this research is that there are several factors that urge the adoption of IT on Law Bureau, that is: (a) there is urgency of people against the law Bureau, (b) the adoption of information technology was an effort of the Law Bureau to enhance the service quality, (c) the time effectiveness of law information dissemination. Other than that, this research also found the fact that the quality of human resource in the Law Bureau is not so espouse, therefore IT impacts the JDIH website management. There are several positive impacts as well for the vertical agency that connected with the Law Bureau and society in Central Sulawesi.

Abstract

Mango fruit is a fruit that has a high value in Indonesia and has a wide market share ranging from traditional markets to modern markets. At harvest time, the mango fruit is still selected manually based on visual observations from an expert on fruits. The lack of public knowledge about the maturity of this fruit makes the community sometimes difficult to choose a fruit that is ripe. So doing the research to detect mango Gedong fruit by looking at its skin texture and color. Features of Gedong will be extracted using second order feature extraction method that is energy, contrast, correlation, inverse different moment, and entropy. This application is built by comparing the two methods of classification namely Euclidean Distance, and Mamdani. By comparing the results of the two methods of classification, the user can know the maturity classification of mango Gedong more accurate. So, the result of this research shown that the most accurate method in mango fruit maturity classification is Euclidean Distance method with an accuracy of 83.33% with a total of 60 tests from 120. While Mamdani method has accuracy level under Euclidean Distance that is 63,33% with total 60 tests from 120.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) has a very important issue to support business activities in the organization. IT for business has a huge impact on the sustainability of the organization. Bidang A's objective in the Indikator Kerja Utama (IKU) is the implementation of reliable information technology, so Bidang A makes Service Level Agreement (SLA) for agreement level of service quality. For Bidang A requires evaluation to assess the level of service performance capability and makes recommendations to IT services that have not achieved (IKU) in the RENSTRA of Satuan Organisasi XYZ. Bidang A started implementing the COBIT 5 framework as the current governance update action. Bidang A has not yet assessed whether the implementation of the COBIT 5 framework on Bidang A's Internet service has gone well, so this evaluation activity is an initial evaluation of IT Service Performance and IT capability level using the COBIT 5 framework as a measurement tool. The domains used in COBIT 5 are Monitoring, Evaluate, and Assess (MEA). MEA01 is used because MEA01 collects, validates, and evaluates IT business and IT process objectives to provide performance transparency, conformity and drive achievement of organizational goals.
