Abstract

Today in the era of globalization, the influence of technology is very important, for we can notice its role in all aspects of human life. Exercise is an important thing to consider for healthy life. Run is the simplest sport option and can be done by almost all circles and layers of society. The problem is, people are too busy so do not have enough free time and free space to go to exercise. Treadmill is the tool used to solve the solution. By using the treadmill, people can exercise to run without having to get out from their house. However, in its use people sometimes have an accident because they do not understand the functions of features on the treadmill. In this research, a prototype of automatic treadmill control system was designed to reduce the accident risk.

Abstract

Information Security standard help to ensure security consistency across the business and usually contain security controls relating to the implementation of specific technology, hardware or software. It is important that a company understands standards so the company can choose the standard that are the most relevant to their organization. ISO 27000 is the international standard for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System within an organization. ISO/IEC 27005:2011 provides guidelines for information security risk management. It supports the general concepts specified in ISO/IEC 27001 and is designed to assist the satisfactory implementation of information security based on a risk management approach. Risk Management is one of the cornerstones of a mature and functional information security program that provides business value to an organization. The object of this research in LAPAN Bandung is to conduct risk assessment and analysis infrastructure LAPAN RDSA in Bandung. This study uses qualitative and semi-quantitative analysis with the case study method. This risk analysis using the approach of the standard ISO / IEC 27005: 2011.

Abstract

In infancy, the age of 0-12 months is a very important period in the process of human growth and development. The process of growth and development at this time affects the child's growth and development in the next period and to reduce mortality in infants. Quick and precise information needs from a baby health expert are needed. The method used in making this expert system is forward chaining, where the system is driven by existing facts. These facts are obtained from the patient's physical condition, or referred to as symptoms. With the existence of an android-based expert system, users everywhere can access to the internet and connect. The process of extracting knowledge by means of interviews. Based on the analysis, this expert system has a percentage of program eligibility for use by laymen is 82.7%. Besides that, based on the results of the questionnaire, the ease of the program also gets a large percentage as well

Abstract

In Indonesia, which poverty rates reaching 9.82% in March 2018, education cost is a barrier for sections of societies with low household income. So that the availability of scholarships is a solution. Based on this, Maranatha Christian University provides tuition assistance in the form of scholarships for students with several categories, which are managed by Student Welfare Sector, under the supervision of the Directorate of Student Affairs. The problem in managing the scholarship is that there is no adequate system. The goal is this research is to design a business strategy and information system strategy to achieve harmony based on present and future needs. TOGAF Framework, the enterprise architecture method is chosen to provide an effective and efficient solution from the business architecture phase, information system architecture phase, and technology architecture phase. The result of this research is in the form of TOGAF ADM artifact, as the blueprint architecture and IT development recommendations that are expected to be a guide in the development of scholarship services at Maranatha Christian University.

Abstract

In the era of development technology, there are so many people who have not been able to use it. For examples to make a sale and purchase transaction they are using conventional way where the customers must go to the seller's place, but the problem comes when the customers do not get the item they are needed. Another problem is that conventional seller financial statements are still records in a paper that can be lost or scattered, and sometimes customers want to find items that are needed but not in any list of stores that cause wasting customer’s time and energy and ineffective. This research will make a portal that can manage the transaction for sellers and customers. For reporting, a feature will be made that shows the description and availability of stock items, as well as digital financial records for sellers as financial statements. This research is different from other e-commerce webs, where the special feature added is to manage the customer goods request that is not available as a service to ensure customers satisfaction.

Abstract

The implementation of social welfare development programs in developing countries is generally focused on the empowerment program of the poor, which is more nuanced in a participatory approach involving the community, business and government. empowerment is considered appropriate to be one of the policy choices in the development of social welfare today. The development of social welfare based on the principle of empowerment is intended that in the handling of the poor, it must be done through increasing the capacity of human resources to increase independence (Law Number 13 of 2011). Regional development has an impact on national development. Poverty reduction policies realized through community empowerment programs have become the main agenda and prior development in Baleendah Subdistrict, especially Rancamanyar Village. One of the poverty alleviation programs through community empowerment carried out in Rancamanyar Village is the Housing Assistance Program for uninhabitable houses. Various local government efforts to reduce the number of uninhabitable houses are still considered uneven. With the limited management and processing of survey data in the regions, it is one of the factors that do not help the existing policies. With the construction of a geographic information system for uninhabitable homes, one of the efforts that must be taken by the local government in order to support and assist in making decisions for uninhabitable houses is to conduct geographical analysis and mapping of uninhabitable houses in Rancamanyar Village, so that help is not the wrong target.

Abstract

E-marketplace has gained popularity with the Indonesian society resulting in the increment of products offered. Consequently, customers require more effort to search for products. In this study, we classified products from several e-marketplaces. The classification was carried out using TF-IDF method for the weighting, cosine similarity to calculate product similarity distance, and k-nearest neighbor algorithm. Based on the first testing result using 150 product data, the k-nearest neighbor method with k=5 successfully classified 146 data with 4 data classified into the wrong class. This k=5 value gives the best result for this case, with an accuracy of 97.33%. The second testing result using 150 mixed brand product data, the k-nearest neighbor method successfully classified 145 data with 5 data classified into the wrong class. The accuracy of the second testing is 96.67%.

Abstract

In this study, it is discussed the Regency/City Human Development Index (HDI) in North Maluku Province to determine the spatial influence of HDI. The data used are Regency/City HDI in North Maluku Province from 2013 to 2017. Furthermore, spatial autocorrelation test with Geary C index is used based on resampling by using Estimated Kernel Density. The test is done to determine whether the Regency/City HDI affects the neighboring Regency/City HDI. Based on the results of optimal bandwidth usage (hopt) with a repetition of 10000 times it is obtained p-value 0.0318, 0.0272, 0.0282, 0.0262 and 0.0258, respectively from 2013 to 2017. Thus, there is a spatial between Regencies/Cities in North Maluku Province from 2013 to 2017. In other words, if the HDI in a Regency/City is high then the neighbouring Regency/City HDI tends to be high, and vice versa.

Abstract

The high demand of the community for money that causes crime is the circulation of fake paper money. Counterfeit money if shared has the same physical as the original money issued by Bank Indonesia. To avoid the public accidentally transacting using counterfeit money, the government has actually socialized the 3D method (Seen, Diraba, and Diterawang). However, along with technological developments, the technique of making counterfeit money will also require the development of alternative techniques that can be used to help save fake money. Determining the authenticity of Rupiah banknotes can be done using pattern classification methods, one of which can be accommodated by artificial neural networks. LVQ neural network (Learning Vector Quantization) and Backpropagation are two types of artificial neural networks that do supervised learning. Extraction of features that show the authenticity of banknotes can be done using the HSV color space. This color space consists of components H (Hue), S (Saturation), and V (Value). This is the background of the topic chosen for analysis choosing the LVQ and Backpropagation methods in determining the authenticity of Rupiah banknotes based on HSV parameters. Evaluation analysis taken from the level assessment The evaluation results using the composition of the test data consisting of 10 original money images and 8 original money images obtained results both LVQ and Backpropagation networks were able to classify real and fake money images with 100% acquisition rates. However, when viewed from the MSE value, the LVQ network has a better performance with the supporting MSE value being 0. The test results from the preparation time, the Backpropagation network requires a shorter time compared to the LVQ network.

Abstract

Mammal is a type of animal that has many diverse characteristics, such as vertebrates and breastfeeding. In this study, the HOG feature and the k-NN method were proposed to classify 15 species of mammals. This study uses the LHI-Animal-Faces dataset which has fifteen species of mammals, where each type of mammal has 50 images measuring 100x100 pixels. The image will be conducted the process by the HOG feature extraction process and continued into the classification process using k-Nearest Neighbor. The performance of the HOG and k-NN features that get the best value is in deer and monkey, the best results for precision, recall, and accuracy are at k=3 where HOG feature extraction provides good vector features to be used in the classification process using the k-NN method.
