Abstract

The existence of the mun?sabah al-Qur'?n is disputed among the scholars, between the pros and cons. The majority of scholars agree that there is a mun?sabah in the Qur'an. However, the study of this theme has not been done so much, even though it is very important especially in the realm of the interpretation of the Koran to get a good and holistic understanding, not partiality. The author expresses it with a descriptive-analytical method so that this study can be understood more clearly and practiced better. This research produced several important points: 1] mun?sabah al-Qur'?n is a useful science to find out the systematic reasons for the placement of parts of the Qur'an, 2] periodization of the development of mun?sabah al-Qur'?n: classical, middle and modern; 3] The main form of mun?sabah al-Qur'?n is inter-verse and inter-surah, 4] The method of mun?sabah al-Qur'?n is observing the purpose of the suras; observe the preamble of the surah; observing the stages of the mun?sabah-early part of the letter; and pay attention to various possibilities that arise from the reader's mind.

Abstract

Islamic rules are implied through the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet. as guidelines and rules for the happiness and safety of mankind in the world and in the hereafter shows that Islam is a religion revealed for human happiness. One of the rules conveyed by the Koran is various instruments to provide a guarantee of happiness in domestic life. It is certain, of course, that humans crave a harmonious, peaceful, happy, and loving family in life in the world to the hereafter. From the family were born great and qualified generations, Salih and Salihah who were able to deliver glory to everyone around him. This article contains household adhesive instruments as hinted by the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. as a mubayyin of the Qur'an.

Abstract

The method of da'wah as an important instrument in religious broadcasting must experience continuous development, in line with the speed of science and the level of human intelligence, as well as social conditions. The Trans-Method discourse of preaching will researchers juxtapose with one of the charismatic figures of the 19th century AD from the 60 - 90s period on the island of Java, namely Kiai Bisri Musthofa. This figure is quite antique compared to other religious figures of his period. He is a multi-talented figure in religious, social, cultural and political aspects. Its influence in the development of Islam on the island of Java, especially in the area of ??Rembang and its surroundings is very high. His intelligence in responding to social, cultural, religious and political issues has been tested. This truth can be seen from his works which can be categorized in the fields of interpretation, hadith, aqidah, sharia, morals / tasawuf, language, culture and others. The theme in this paper will focus on how to fully describe the strategy of da'wah kiai Bisri Musthofa through various methods of broadcasting Islam in the Java region.

Abstract

Nationalism is a feeling of love and pride for the motherland. This feeling is manifested in a willingness to sacrifice body and soul to protect the nation from various protections protected by the country's sovereignty. Therefore, this trait must exist for every citizen and continue to be implemented in daily life. But what is currently being debated is the argument that nationalism opposes Islam and is without foundation. The study of this subject presents an opinion about the values ??of nationalism contained in the Koran and Hadith. This is important to understand because nationalism is increasingly eroded because it involves understanding radicalism and extremism. This research reveals the values ??of nationalism contained in the Koran and the traditions that cover love for land, patriotism, unity, togetherness, pluralism, equality, and liberation. This study uses library research or library research. This type of research is one of the studies that discuss the development of theory and research on solving problems that support it. It is hoped that by examining this topic, it can be opened with the community regarding the concept of nationalism in the Qur’an and Hadith.

Abstract

Poverty and social inequality are serious problems and need serious handling as well. Al-Qur'an in several verses also talks about poverty alleviation, both in the phase of Mecca and Medina. One of the instruments that the Qur'an calls for is zakat, which actually has a big potential if it is managed optimally. However, the understanding of the Muslim community regarding zakat is not fully complete, in addition to the lack of literacy in this matter, socialization related to zakat and its benefits has not been carried out massively in society, both at the formal and non-formal levels of education. This research was conducted in Tembok Luwung Village, Kec. Adiwerna Kab. Tegal during the month of Ramadan in 1439 H / 2018 M. in several places of worship (prayer rooms, mosques, and majlis Ta'lim) which held a recitation activity "Asr Lecture" in that month. This study aims to analyze people's understanding of zakat and reveal the problems they face in collecting zakat to find recommendations for solutions. This research is a descriptive study by taking purposive samples of several prayer rooms that hold Asr lectures throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The data were obtained using interview and in-depth observation techniques with several Musholla administrators and the general public. The analytical method used is to crystallize several main problems, so that the most basic problems are found.

Abstract

One of our classic but always actual problems is intolerance. Religious intolerance itself is caused by many factors, among others; exclusivity understanding and praxis towards religion, sect, or denomination, literal understanding of the verses in each holy book, and injustice in treating other religious communities. The second cause in the author's view does not only stop at a literal understanding of the verses in the holy book, but also on a literal understanding of religious-related themes described in classical Islamic literature such as the term kafir which is classified into four categories, namely kafir. harbi, kafir mu'ahad, kafir musta'man, and kafir dzimmi. The categorization of kafir found in classical Islamic literature has the potential to become the basis for some people to practice intolerant acts in the form of heresy or mention of kafir accompanied by deprivation of the political rights of residents other than Muslims and subverting them. Therefore, a review of the relevance of the term kafir in classical Islamic literature is necessary.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago that is rich in traditions, culture, ethnicity, religion and race. This wealth shows that Indonesia is a plural, developed country. However, the state's wealth which should be a valuable asset is tarnished by the interests of certain groups to dominate politically as well as power over other groups until it is manifested by various violence and sadistic actions, especially in the name of religion. Transnational movements that try to eliminate the values of tolerance and harmony between religious communities are partly based on a partial understanding of the Koran, so it is necessary for the author to re-examine tolerance in the perspective of the Koran as a counter to transnational movements.

Abstract

Blind people have always been considered as a person who is not useful to those around them. Psychologically, the negative view of society causes blind people to be insecure and have negative behavior as well. Of course as a result, their relationship with Allah. as well as with fellow humans to be less good. As for the blind people themselves, they feel rejected because their conditions are different from others. Furthermore, they usually become more sensitive to external evaluations. They feel dissatisfied with the situation. However, the Koran is here to emphasize the position of blind people who have the same position, obligations and rights as other creatures. Although in some cases, blind people also get rukhsah not to carry out orders like other Muslims do, for example when fighting, they are allowed not to follow them.

Abstract

Tafsir al-Misbah tercatat sebagai mahakarya pertama tafsir di Indonesia yang diterbitkan secara utuh 30 Juz. Al-misbah pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 2000 oleh penerbit lentera hati Jakarta. Penafsiran secara komprehensif merupakan ciri khas tafsir al-Misbah. Kemunculan tafsir al-Misbah dinilai sangat relevan dengan konteks saat ini. Hal ini menjadikan al-Misbah sebagai rujukan atas problematika yang ada. Kajian ini bertujuan mengungkap kekomprehensifitasan penafsiran M. Quraish Shihab dalam karyanya tafsir al-Misbah. Jenis kajian ini adalah kajian kepustakaan (library search) yaitu data kajian diperoleh dari berbagai literatur dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukan totalitas Quraish Shihab dalam menfsirkan al-Quran. Penyajian penafsiran dengan pemberian pengantar pada setiap awal surat, pengelompokan ayat atas keserasian penafsiran, pesan, kesan, serta penjelasan mendetail baik dari aspek tekstualitas, dan rasionalitas penafsiran. Kemudian kesesuaian dengan konteks ke Indonesiaan serta ragam sumber rujukan mulai dari suber berlainan madzhab, tokoh filososf, hingga tokoh orientalis. Hal ini menunjukan penafsiran Quraish Shihab dalam tafsir al-Misbah sangat komprehensif, tidak heran jika al-Misbah menjadi role model dan pusat rujukan hingga saat ini.

Abstract

The polemic of music and song law is again crowded on social media, starting from the translation of surat as-Syuara as a letter of poets who were identified with musicians by one of the preachers who eventually received various comments on social media. Departing from this problem, the author will reveal how Islma'il Raji al-Faruqi's views on music, a figure known for the idea of monotheistic art. This writing attempts to explain the expression of Islamic art offered by Ismail Raji al-Faruqi. This study focuses on monotheism as the main objective of the Islamic worldview. The method used in this writing uses library research. The type of data used by the author uses literature-based data, in the form of primary and secondary data. The approach used in this writing uses a thematic method. The formulation of the underlying problem of this writing is expected to answer the question of music polemic as an expression of Islamic art according to Ismail Raji al-Faruqi. The idea of monotheism is an expression of the objective, transcendent, mystical, and inexpressible values of beauty, as well as the idea of beauty that is subjective, expressive, and culturally comprehensible. Al-Faruqi's thinking shows that literary art, calligraphy, ornamentation, sound art, and room art cannot be separated from monotheism as a worldview in Islam.
