Abstract

Transformasi digital yang masif telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter generasi muda. Di satu sisi, era digital menawarkan akses informasi dan peluang kreativitas yang luas, namun di sisi lain, ia juga menimbulkan tantangan serius dalam hal nilai-nilai moral, integritas, dan identitas diri. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kritis berbagai problematika karakter generasi muda yang muncul akibat pengaruh media digital, serta menelaah faktor penyebab dan strategi penguatan karakter yang relevan dengan tantangan zaman. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka, menganalisis berbagai sumber ilmiah dan data empiris yang relevan mengenai disorientasi nilai moral, kecanduan digital, budaya instan, krisis identitas, dan paparan konten negatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa krisis karakter generasi muda disebabkan oleh lemahnya pendidikan karakter yang kontekstual, degradasi peran keluarga, tekanan sosial-psikologis digital, dan kurangnya regulasi konten media. Tulisan ini merekomendasikan strategi penguatan karakter berbasis literasi digital kritis, integrasi etika digital dalam kurikulum, revitalisasi keluarga sebagai agen nilai, serta penguatan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis bagi pengembangan pendidikan karakter yang adaptif terhadap era disrupsi teknologi informasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the role of the madrasah principal as a manager in developing teachers’ professional competence at MTS Al-Ihsaniyah, Sarang Burung Village, Muaro Jambi District, from the aspects of planning, implementation, supervision, and follow-up. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data sources include the principal, vice principals of curriculum and facilities, vice principal of student affairs and public relations, teachers, students, and the foundation’s supervisor. Informants were selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques involved observation, interviews, and document study. The research used inductive qualitative data analysis techniques. The findings show that : (1) Planning is carried out by the principal through forming a madrasah development team, involving members in formulating the vision, mission, and programs, planning programs based on needs, and aligning them with policy; (2) Implementation is carried out by optimizing the principal's duties, fostering a sense of shared responsibility and family principles, setting a motto for educators, executing the program, and maintaining a strong professional image; (3) Supervision is carried out by involving the foundation in overseeing programs, directly supervising program implementation, maintaining good communication, and identifying shortcomings; (4) Follow-up is done by giving full support, involving the foundation, analyzing programs, and providing facilities for implementation

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of the Headmaster as a motivator in improving teacher competence at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Ikhsaniya Sarang Burung, Jambi Luar Kota, Muaro Jambi. The research focuses on three aspects: planning, implementation, and outcomes of improving teacher competence through the Headmaster's role as a motivator. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a case study approach involving in-depth interviews with the Headmaster, teachers, and direct observation of the activities related to teacher competence development at the Madrasah. The results of the study show that: first, in the planning phase, the Headmaster designs professional development programs that address the teachers' needs, taking into account internal evaluations and the dynamics of the field. Second, during implementation, the Headmaster actively acts as a motivator by providing encouragement, direction, and recognition of teachers' achievements. The Headmaster also facilitates collaborative activities and team-based development. Third, the outcomes of the competence improvement are reflected in positive changes in teaching performance, curriculum understanding, and the use of technology in the learning process. The conclusion of this study indicates that the Headmaster’s role as a motivator significantly influences the planning, implementation, and outcomes of teacher competence improvement. An active and inspiring Headmaster can create an environment that supports teachers' professional development, ultimately leading to improved educational quality.

Abstract

The problem in this research is Headmaster‟s Management in improving the function of Teachers in MAS AL-Ihsaniyah Desa Sarang Burung. This study aims to find out how the principal formulates policies, regulates the work is procedures, supervises and the supporting factors and constrains the Principal in improving the function of teachers in MAS AL-Ihsaniyah Desa Sarang Burung. Methodologically, this research is field research (empirical) with qualitative approach. Primary data sources are principals, vice principals, administrative staff, teachers and students. While archival books, activity reports, and management implementation documents are secondary data. In data collection, the method used are observation, interview, and documentation. In analyzing data, the researcher used qualitative analysis techniques with the steps of data exposure, data reduction, and withdrawal conclusions. The general finding in this research is the objective condition of MAS AL-Ihsaniyah Desa Sarang Burung. The particular finding, is: (1) the formulation of Principal Policy in MAS AL-Ihsaniyah Desa Sarang Burung done by making planning, Implementation and evaluation through deliberations, discussions and forum meetings (2) Arrangement of the Working Procedures in MAS AL-Ihsaniyah Desa Sarang Burung done by dividing the task according to organizational structure. (3) Supervision of the principal in MAS AL-Ihsaniyah Desa Sarang Burung are conducted directly by monitoring all the students and teachers and monitoring to the classes. Indirectly, the principal conducts supervision through the vice principal of the curriculum section, student affairs, teachers of counseling guidance and picket teachers (4) Supporting factors in MAS AL-Ihsaniyah Desa Sarang Burung are infrastructure and cooperation with the Institute of Education. Inhibiting factors are limit the cost, time and energy, and the teachers have a less understanding about the policies that made by principal and reluctant to develop their potential.

Abstract

Educational facilities and infrastructure are essential resources that support the overall learning process in schools. Difficulties in managing them become more significant when management systems and procedures are unclear, or when the willingness and ability of managers are inadequate. The primary focus of this study is to examine the application and implementation of facilities and infrastructure management functions at State Senior High School 1 Kutorejo. The purpose of this research is to analyze the process of facilities and infrastructure management within the school. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and was conducted at State Senior High School 1 Kutorejo using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques for data collection. The research findings indicate that implementation of facilities and infrastructure management follows several structured stages. The first stage is planning, which is conducted through coordination meetings involving the school principal, vice principal for facilities and infrastructure, teachers, and administrative staff. The second stage is procurement, carried out based on planning results, needs analysis, and consideration of budget availability. The third stage is distribution, ensuring that items are evenly allocated throughout the school. The fourth stage is storage, in which items are kept in proper warehouses under direct supervision. The fifth stage involves maintenance, performed regularly to ensure that facilities remain in good condition. The sixth stage is inventory, conducted systematically to record the quantity and condition of items accurately. The final stage is disposal, intended to remove unused or severely damaged items. However, the disposal process at the school occurs infrequently, resulting in difficulties and inefficiencies in inventory management.
