Abstract

The assistance provided to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Klakeh Village, Bangilan District, focuses on enhancing product marketing capabilities through online and offline media. This study aims to address the challenges faced by MSMEs, such as limited knowledge of technology and marketing strategies. The Community Based Research (CBR) method was used in this study, involving active collaboration between researchers and the local community. The results of the study showed a significant increase in MSMEs' marketing knowledge and skills after receiving assistance. Through a series of training sessions, MSME actors were able to understand online marketing techniques, such as the use of social media, creative content creation, and search engine optimization (SEO). Additionally, they learned offline marketing strategies, such as branding, product packaging, and direct sales techniques. The implementation of these marketing strategies helped MSMEs in Klakeh Village expand their market reach to the national level, as well as increase sales and product image. This assistance also empowered the community by enhancing their sense of ownership and responsibility for the sustainability of the program. The program evaluation revealed the need to expand partnerships with e-commerce platforms and improve access to technology to boost the competitiveness of MSMEs. With the implementation of these recommendations, it is hoped that MSMEs in Klakeh Village can continue to develop and compete in a broader and more competitive market, supporting sustainable local economic growth.

Abstract

The potential human resources and natural resources of the Al-Hikmah Islamic boarding school which is located in an agricultural area, is an opportunity for the development of Islamic boarding schools in the agricultural sector. The Al Hikmah Islamic boarding school has quite a large area of land, but it has not been developed optimally by the students, because the Al-Hikmah Islamic boarding school students' ability to manage agricultural land is still limited and they do not understand cultivation techniques well. The problem experienced by the students of the Al Hikmah Islamic boarding school is the lack of awareness about independent consumption of vegetables which they always buy from outside parties, even though they have expertise in cultivating them healthily without using chemicals. To achieve small steps towards change, the Al Hikmah Islamic Institute's Community Service Program (PPkM) tries to solve this problem through activities to create farmer independence by cultivating growing vegetables. Apart from training students to grow plants effectively and efficiently, this assistance is expected to be able to train the spirit of independence and entrepreneurial spirit considering that these vegetable plants are plants that have the potential to be sold on the market.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in driving local economic growth. However, one of the significant challenges faced by SMEs is limited access to financing, especially from conventional banking institutions. This study aims to explore the empowerment of SMEs through Sharia banking financing, which offers a more inclusive and ethical alternative in line with Islamic economic principles. The research utilizes a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative interviews with SME owners and quantitative data analysis from Sharia banking institutions to assess the extent of access and its impact on local economic improvement. The qualitative aspect focuses on understanding the obstacles and opportunities experienced by SMEs in securing financing, while the quantitative data provides an overview of the effectiveness of Sharia banking in supporting SMEs. The findings indicate that SMEs empowered through Sharia financing have shown increased financial stability, business expansion, and contributions to local economic development. However, challenges such as limited awareness and understanding of Sharia banking products remain significant. This study concludes that enhancing financial literacy and collaboration between SMEs and Sharia banking institutions is essential for maximizing the potential of Sharia-compliant financing in boosting local economies.

Abstract

The importance of entrepreneurship education has grown significantly as it prepares students to adapt to economic changes, create job opportunities, and contribute to local economies. However, many high school students lack sufficient exposure to practical business knowledge, particularly in regions where access to formal entrepreneurship education is limited. By integrating local wisdom into entrepreneurship education, students can gain valuable insights that not only enhance their business skills but also strengthen their understanding of their cultural heritage. Local wisdom, rooted in community traditions and practices, offers a unique perspective on sustainable and resource-efficient business practices. This approach can provide students with a sense of identity and pride, motivating them to become active participants in the local economy. Incorporating local wisdom into entrepreneurship education is especially relevant for high school students as it can encourage them to explore business opportunities within their communities. This model promotes respect for cultural values while fostering innovation in a familiar context. The guidance provided through this approach can increase students' interest in business by making entrepreneurship more relatable and achievable. Furthermore, this model addresses the gap between theoretical education and real-world applications, preparing students to apply entrepreneurial skills that are in harmony with local values and resources. This research seeks to explore the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education based on local wisdom in enhancing students' interest in pursuing business ventures. Through targeted assistance and culturally relevant content, this program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and motivation to become future entrepreneurs who contribute positively to their communities.
