Abstract

Stunting is a nutritional problem throughout the world, including Indonesia. SSGI results in 2021 the prevalence rate of stunting in Indonesia reaches 24.4% with Pasuruan district 18.10% in 2021 and 13.4% in 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in Mingir Village. This type of research uses analytic observational with a cross sectional design. Sampling was determined by simple random sampling of 315 respondents. Retrieval of data from secondary data. Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results of the chi- square test showed that there was a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in Minggir Village (p=0.000<0.05) with OR=0.045<1 test results, meaning that toddlers who are exclusively breastfed are a factor protective against stunting by 0.045 times. Exclusive breastfeeding can reduce the incidence of stunting. Therefore, health workers need to promote exclusive breastfeeding and recommend giving additional food in the form of animal protein.

Abstract

Health literacy on clean and healthy living behavior in elementary schools is very important to be instilled from an early age to improve the degree of health. This study aims to determine the relationship between health literacy level and clean and healthy living behavior at SDN 02 Penanggal, Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency". This study used a Non-Experimental research design with a Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study was 28 students of grades V-VI SDN 02 Penanggal, Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency. The sampling technique uses total sampling. This research instrument used a health literacy questionnaire and a PHBS questionnaire. Data analysis using the Spearman Rho test. The results showed that most of the health literacy of SDN 02 Penanggal students, Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency was adequate for 21 respondents and clean and healthy living behavior in the high category of 22 respondents from 28 samples. The results of the data analysis showed that the correlation efficiency between the level of health literacy and clean and healthy living behavior was positive, which was 0.905 which means that the relationship between the two variables is unidirectional, the more adequate the level of health literacy, the higher the clean and healthy living behavior. The results of the Spearman Rho test show that the p value is 0.000 < p 0.05 so that H1 is accepted. The conclusion of the results of this study is that the level of health literacy has a relationship with clean and healthy living behavior at SDN 02 Penanggal, Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency.

Abstract

Nurses work by providing 24 hour care to patients which causes nurses to be faced with the emotional burden of various stressors. One of the causes of dissatisfaction at work is related to career satisfaction obtained. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between career development and workstress in nurses. This research design is correlational with a cross-sectional approach. The independent variable is career development and the dependent variable is work stress. The population of this study were all nurses in the inpatient room at Aisyiyah Siti Fatimah Tulangan Sidoarjo Hospital, totaling 65 nurses. The sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique of 56 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument and tested using the Spearman Rho test. The research results showed that half of the respondents who stated that their career development was negative experienced work stress in the moderate category, namely 7 respondents (50%). Most of the respondents who stated that career development in hospitals was positive experienced work stress in the mild category, 31 respondents (73.8%). The Spearman rho test results obtained values of ρ = 0.000, α = 0.05, r = 0.573. This shows that the value of ρ = 0.000 < α = 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so there is a relationship between career development and work stress for nurses at RSU 'Aisyiyah Siti Fatimah Tulangan Sidoarjo. Based on the correlation coefficient value, the value r = 0.573 is obtained, this shows that the close relationship between the two variables is quite strong. Nurses should be able to make good use of rest time so that they do not experience fatigue and need to create harmonious cooperation so that working conditions are good and enjoyable so that work stress is reduced.

Abstract

Caesarea section surgery uses a spinal anesthesia technique that has many advantages including a faster drug effect, deeper sensory and motoric blockade, a simple technique, minimal impact on the baby, and a small risk of anesthetic drug toxicity. This study is aimed at identifying the relationship and changes in spinal anesthesia to the hemodynamics of patients undergoing a caesarean section at the Central Surgery Facility of Bhayangkara Hospital H.S. Samsoeri Mertojoso Surabaya. This research is a correlation study with the method used, i.e. with a quantitative method with a cross - sectional approach. The independent variables used are spinal anesthesia and the dependent variables that are used are blood pressure, MAP, and pulmonary pressure. The results of the study showed a pre-induction hemodynamic change with the 5th minute after induction. In the 10th and 15th minutes tended to indicate normal state. In correlation tests showed that there was a relationship between the time of pre-induction administration and the 5-th minute of induction in the systolic blood pressure variables and MAP values, but in diastolic and pulmonary blood pressure there was no relationship or correlations at the time. Correlation test results indicated a positive direction of the relationship. The changes before and after the hemodynamics of a caesarean section are caused by the administration of anesthetic drugs, so it can be said that spinal anesthesia has been associated with the haemodynamic changes of a Caesarea section.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem. In the future they will experience difficulties in achieving optimal physical and cognitive development. Stunting is influenced by food availability, parenting style, and environmental sanitation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parenting, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns on stunting in Rebalas Village, Grati Health Center Region, Pasuruan Regency. This research was case-control. Population was grouped between stunted and normal under-five children with a sample of 47 respondents and a ratio of 1:1, sample was taken by purposive sampling. The independent variables were parenting, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns, while the dependent variable was the incidence of stunting. The data that has been collected then processed through editing, coding, scoring, and data tabulation. Then analyzed using the Chi-Square test Based on the results of the study, it was found that respondents with parenting, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns in the unfavorable category for their children, almost half had stunted children. Chi-Square test obtained a probability value = 0.0000 <0.05 so that H1 was accepted, which mean that there was an influence of parenting patterns, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns. Under-five children with normal height (not stunted) have better parenting patterns, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns than stunted children with the same family economic background. Improving nutritional problems by empowering the community as preventive and promotive efforts to change family habits and recognizing the positive habits of under-five children mothers and being able to spread these positive habits to other mothers
