Kiai umumnya diartikan sebagai predikat yang disematkan oleh masyarakat karena kompetensinya di bidang ilmu agama melampaui manusia biasa, memiliki pesantren, dan mengajarkan ilmunya kepada para murid-muridnya. Namun, konvergensi sosial-politik pada masa Orde Baru di Indonesia, untuk beberapa kasus, telah mengeser makna dan peran kiai lebih kepada seorang agen perubahan sosial. Artikel ini dimaksudkan untuk mencoba menginvestigasi otoritas peran yang dimainkan seorang kiai di sebuah perdesaan pegunungan Jawa dalam merubah kampungnya yang miskin dan dikenal kuat religiusitas abangannya kini menjadi kampung santri yang makmur secara ekonomi. Menariknya, ia melakukannya dengan dalih purifikasi Islam mengkombinasikannya dengan peran otonominya dalam konteks politik lokal untuk menampilkan wacana-wacana keislamannya bekerja secara sinergi dengan agenda pembangunan negara. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian etnografi yang dilakukan melalui dua tahap, yakni awal hingga pertengahan bulan pada 2014 dan 2018 di sebuah perdesaan di Dataran Tinggi Dieng. Observasi lapangan dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui pengamatan terlibat, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya, keberhasilan transformasi sosial-keagamaan sangat tergantung dari peran agensi dalam memainkan otoritasnya. Otoritas karisma dan rasional yang dimiliki sang kiai sebagai tokoh utama dalam konteks penelitian ini mampu dimanfaatkan dengan melibatkan diri sebagai bagian dari pemerintah Orde Baru untuk turut serta menyukseskan agenda pembangunan negara melalui keberhasilannya menghubungkan idiom-idiom Islam dengan tema yang berlaku di masyarakat seperti kaitannya dengan wacana Islam yang terus menunjukkan tantangannya terhadap kemiskinan, pengangguran, kebodohan, dan krisis moral-keimanan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan bagaimana nilai dan falsafah Gusjigang diintenalisasikan kedalam kurikulum pendidikan pesantren al-Mawaddah Kudus. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat remaja terhadap kearifan lokal (local wisdom) dan implementasinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pondok pesantrean al Mawaddah Kudus merupakan salah satu pesantren yang mengapresiasi local wisdom Gusjigang, bahkan mengimpelentasikannya dalam bentuk internilasisasi nilai Gusjigang kedalam kurikulum pendidikannya. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian, peneliti melakukan pengamatan, wawancara, dan melakukan studi dokumen. Selanjutnya menganalisisnya dengan teknik kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren al-Mawaddah melakukan internalisasi falsafah Gusjigang peninggalan Sunan Kudus kedalam kurikulumnya. Implementasi nilai dan falsafah Gusjigang kedalam kurikulum bertujuan agar alumni pesantren al-Mawaddah memiliki kecerdasan spiritual, sosial, dan kemandirian dalam berwirausaha. Adapun bentuk internalisasi nilai Gusjigang adalah: Nilai Gus “Bagus” diinternalisasikan kedalam kurikulum pendidikan akhlak, nilai Ji ”Ngaji” diinternalisasikan kedalam kurikulum pendidikan pengetahuan spiritual. dan nilai Gang “Dagang” diinternalisasikan kedalam kurikulum pendidikan kewirausahaan.

Almost two decades of socialization on Child Protection have been socialized in Indonesia, but there are still many violations of the fundamental rights of children. The family should be the first place for children to be safe and comfortable; instead, it becomes a worrying place. This research is expected to offer a concept of Child Protection by tracing back the meaning of child protection so that it can be translated by the wider community and especially families in Indonesia comprehensively so that it becomes a child-friendly society.This qualitative study focuses on a literature review using a normative approach to rehabilitate and make a positive contribution to the child protection movement that is not yet optimal, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic with a more specific and thoughtful approach, namely fiqh munakahat (marriage). This study resulted in an alternative definition of Child Protection, namely a continuous effort to create a conducive atmosphere for children to carry out their fundamental rights and obligations rationally, responsibly, and beneficially, starting from the moment parents choose a life partner and avoid violence and discrimination. The first step in protecting children from the fiqh munakahat perspective that can be done is selective in choosing a life partner, starting with paying attention to aspects of commitment to carrying out religious orders, morals, and the environment for growth and development of prospective partners, building a family on a valid marriage, and avoiding marriages that have close kinship.

This article intends to examine the concept of scientific ethics in Islamwith a focus on the thoughts of Harun Nasution.Harun Nasution is a controversial Islamic reformer. His idea was born as a response toand against the traditional ideas that developed at that time, evenHarun Nasution dared to go against the flow of traditional thoughtethics that had long been rusty and difficult to remove. The emphasisof this paper is on the presentation of Harun Nasution's progressivethinking in various main issues in the study of Islamic ethical thought,such as the idea of progress, coexistence between the Absolute-Textual (qath'i) and relative-contextual (zhanni) regions as afoundation the development of science in Islam, rational andtraditional categorization, inclusive attitudes: accepting culture orknowledge from outside, freedom and development mentality: freedomof thought and action, cosmology: belief in causality as a source ofsuccess, moral problems and Harun Nasution's criticism ofmaterialistic / hedonistic culture. This paper is presented consideringthat in a dynamic society, scientific ethics and community educationplay a role in determining the existence and development of society.Likewise with the role of scientific and educational ethics which is oneform of manifestation of the ideals of Islamic life to preserve, transferand instill (internalization) and transform Islamic values to thepersonal of the next generation, so that cultural-religious values areaspirated in society over time.

This article departs from the view that the construction of values /morals / ihsan in Islam cannot be separated from the construction offaith (akidah) and Islam (worship). Similar to the relationshipbetween ontology (wujud), epistemology (ma'rifah), and axiology(qimah). The classical Islamic tradition is very rich with thediscussion on the epistemology of value, and this needs to beaddressed when issues of faith, worship, and values becomeproblematic and are seen as dichotomous in moslem society. Theresults of the study: First, the epistemology of values in the intellectualrealm of Islam can be grouped into two main schools, namely: 1) Therational school with 'aql as a source of value and has the ability toknow good and bad, even to know Allah Swt. Also known as objectiveethics; 2) Traditional schools, with revelation or inspiration / intuitionas the basis of values. It is also called subjective ethics, because thescope of its application is in certain areas, namely the believers, whobelieve in the truth of the revelation. Second, the issue of values ormorals is closely related to knowledge of the ins and outs of the soulas is the opinion of rationalists (Muslim philosophers), but theexperience dimension also plays an important role as the opinion oftraditionalists / intuitionists. Third, the dichotomous view of thesource of value makes it very possible for the birth of disintegrationin the main pillars of Islam, namely: Iman, Islam, and Ihsan.

Sulit dipungkiri bahwa kontestasi antara peran negara dan kontribusi nilai hukum Islam menjadi diskursus yang selalu menarik. Terlebih dalam sistem ketatanegaraan Indonesia pasca reformasi, Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) memiliki posisi penting sebagai “arbiter” antara Negara dan Hukum Islam. Penelitian ini memiliki rumusan yang menari, pertama, apa saja nilai hukum Islam dalam Negara berdasar Putusan MK?; kedua, bagaimana klasterisasi teori pemberlakuan nilai Hukum Islam dalam Negara berdasar Yurisprudensi Putusan MK? Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum normatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, nilai hukum Islam dalam beberapa putusan MK yakni nilai kemaslahatan, nilai maqashid syari’yah (tujuan syariah), nilai sadd az-zari`ah (pencegahan) yang baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dirujuk oleh MK. Kedua, klasterisasi teori pemberlakuan nilai Hukum Islam dalam Negara berdasar Yurisprudensi Putusan MK yakni 5 putusan dari 7 putusan MK menggunakan teori eksistensi, 1 putusan MK secara subtansial menggunakan teori eksistensi tetapi secara formal menggunakan teori receptie, sedangkan hanya 1 putusan MK yang menggunakan teori receptie secara murni sepanjang tahun 2007 hingga 2017.

In his elaboration of Islamic science, Kuntowijoyo proposed a social ethical framework consisting of three aspects, namely humanization, liberation, and transcendence. These three elements are of social ethics from the Qur'an Surah Ali Imran 110. This idea and Kuntowijoyo's thoughts in general were very thick with a sociological element. Based on this background, this study attempts to scrutiny whether there is sufistic dimensions of in Kuntowijoyo's thought by focusing on his prophetic social ethical ideas. The research was conducted by doing content analysis of Kuntowijoyo's works and interpreting in heuristic hermeneutics way. The writer found the trilogy of humanization, liberation, and transcendence in Kuntowijoyo's thought reflects the trilogy of purification of the soul in moral Sufism, namely takhalli, tahalli and tajalli which are applied to the social realm.
