Jurnal Balireso adalah Jurnal Pengabdian pada Masyarakat yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (LPkM) UNIVERSITAS MUSLIM INDONESIA. Abstract

Anticipate the low price of chili. at the time of over production and avoid the occurrence ofdamage (rotten fruit quickly) and extend the shelf period and increase the added value of chili fruitin District Cenrana, which needs to be done is to look for alteratif diversification processed chilifruit, chili fruit not only sold in fresh fruit but need to be done processing on the fruit, for exampleprocessing chili into chili flour so that damage can be minimized and provide added value. Thepurpose of this activity is to train the chili farmers to make the chili powder. The method used isthe extension method and the demonstration of making chili powder, guidance and mentoring.Results achieved are Partners skilled in terms of cultivation of large organic chili with the use ofappropriate cultivation technology Partners know the importance of chili pepper diversificationduring over production.

Abstract

The actualization of the commitment of the Muslim University of Indonesia (UMI) that caresabout the environment is manifested by the efforts of community development in the village ofPampang located adjacent to the campus of UMI, conducted through the application of technology.The objectives of the technology implementation activities are (1) to provide training to womenreligious groups (Majelis Taklim) in Pampang on environmental hygiene, sorting and processingwaste for composting for vegetable cultivation; (2) provide vegetable training and skills byVerticulture system to women's religious groups (Majelis Taklim) in Pampang so that communitygroups become more economically independent. The two types of activities are the main activitiesgiven to women's religious groups (Majelis Taklim) to utilize their free time. Both types ofactivities received positive responses from the trainees and the accompaniment reflected in theirattendance and antuasiame responses in each meeting. Organic waste processing activities need tobe increased into business scale which will also increase the family income and also support theMakassar city government program.

Abstract

Bontolebang Village North Galesong District Takalar Regency is one of the areasthat became the center of vegetable plant development. The problem facing thevegetable farmer groups is the management of unfriendly farming system.Farmers in managing their farms rely on the use of chemical fertilizers to improvesoil fertility, without considering the long-term effects of using chemicals.Besides that, farmers are not skilled to make organic fertilizer from waste crops(rice straw) previously that many are found around the farms. This activity aims toincrease knowledge and skills for the farmers in Bontolebang Village, especiallySabar Farmer Group in the management of soil fertility for cultivation whichincludes counseling of environmentally friendly farming system, making oforganic fertilizer from existing crop waste (rice straw) and organic fertilizerapplication right method, so the growth and production of vegetables can bemaximized. The methods used in the implementation of the CommunityPartnership Program are counseling, training, production assistance, anddemonstration plots. The result of this program is the increasing of farmerunderstanding about farming system which is friendly in environment, theincreasing of farmer's skill in making organic fertilizer from rice straw, andincreasing of farmer consciousness in the use of organic fertilizer in farming field.

Abstract

are targeted to serve the people who live in Borikamase Village. The village of Borikamase is amilkfish producing village that is sold in fresh condition without processing to the local market orsent to other places in the vicinity. This potential needs to be developed into a business of milkfishpresto. The purpose of this activity is to provide skills: (1) read the Qur'an correctly, eloquently,and in accordance with the makhraj to the partner groups; (2) management of religious group(Majlis Taklim) systematically; (3) good presto fish processing method.The expected output targets of this activity are the literate and correct literacy skills of the Qur'an;the increasing management of the Majelis Taklim and the business establishment of a group ofPresto milkfish production. It is expected that partners can produce quality Presto fish products interms of product durability, taste, and packaged and hygienic, then partners become independent inthe business management of presto milkfish.

Abstract

Elections are a decisive momentum in the life of democracy. This democratic party will determinenot only the head of state but also the representatives of the people who will sit in the legislativebody. The whole process certainly will not work without the participation of voters throughoutIndonesia, especially in this case the novice voters. Beginner voters have always been the center ofattention ahead of elections. Besides because they are a young generation who have an emotionalcharacter that is still unstable, coupled with the lack of experience in deciding political choices.Therefore, often the political behavior of young voters is not constant beginner even does not playan active role in the election. For this reason, the provision of material about the participation ofnovice voters in the election to the students is absolutely necessary so that the students can knowhow to play an active role in the election so as to apply it in the life of the nation and state.
