International Journal of Educatio Elementaria and Psychologia is especially committed to publishing research papers which inform educational researchers about issues of contemporary concern in education. The basic purpose of the journal is to cover a broad spectrum of education theory and its implications for teaching practice, seeking to bridge and integrate diverse methodological and substantive research. The Editorial Board brings together academics and researchers from different countries, who seek to promote a vigorous dialogue between scholars in various fields both central and related to scientific enquiry in education. Articles accepted for publication in International Journal of Educatio Elementaria and Psychologia should address an important, up-to-date issue in education, apply appropriate research methodology, and be written in a clear and coherent style. Accepted articles should make significant contributions to the field. Abstract

The use of augmented reality (AR) in education has shown potential to improve primary school students' numeracy skills. However, AR research for elementary school geometry is still rare. This study aims to develop augmented reality (AR)-based interactive learning media using the assembler edu platform to improve students' numeracy literacy in geometry subjects. The development method uses ADDIE, the research stages include needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The needs analysis identified problems such as the lack of interactive learning materials and students' difficulties in understanding geometry material. At the design stage, the storyboard and flowchart are made using assembler applications. Media development is done by combining components such as materials, geometry images, animations, and music. Implementation is done through trials by material experts, media experts, and field practitioners, as well as small group and large group trials. The evaluation results show that the developed media has high validity with a percentage of 92% from material experts and 88% from media experts, as well as a significant increase in student numeracy literacy with the percentage of completeness increasing from 6.15% (pre-test) to 79.8% (post-test). With an N-Gain Score of 0.52, this media is proven effective and feasible to use as an additional learning resource.. Recommendations for future research include developing content for other topics, testing in different conditions, and improving interactive features.

Abstract

Aggressiveness is the tendency to behave harshly, violently, or hostilely towards others. It can be physical, verbal, or even emotional. Aggressiveness is often considered a negative trait because it can lead to conflicts and harm both oneself and others. One of the factors that can influence it is self-control, which is the ability to restrain or manage impulsive or excessive urges and behaviors. Eight out of 15 international journals indicate that adolescent aggressive behavior includes various types, such as physical aggression, verbal aggression, and modeling aggression. Self-control has a significant influence on adolescent aggressiveness. The results of the systematic review show that good self-control can help manage and direct aggressiveness toward more positive and constructive outcomes. Other factors that influence aggressiveness include gender, parenting styles, and emotional regulation. Therefore, understanding the interaction of these factors is crucial in addressing and managing aggressiveness to foster healthier social interactions and personal well-being.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of young adults from a psychological perspective. This research uses literature review research, namely conducting library searches and research by reading various kinds of books, journals and other library publications related to the topic under study. Data analysis techniques used in this research is a content analysis method. Meanwhile, the data sources used are books and research journals. The results of this research are that early adulthood is also known as the transition from adolescence to adulthood, which occurs approximately between the ages of 20 and 40 years. The transition from dependence on others to independence, both in terms of economics, freedom of self-determination, and views of the future, as well as changes in physical, intellectual, social roles, psychology, and reproductive abilities. However, early adulthood is considered an immature age in terms of social relationships, because the busyness of pursuing a career, working, getting married, and involvement in activities outside the home decreases. As a result, early adult individuals will experience social isolation for the first time, this is known as a competitive crisis by Erickson.

Abstract

Mental health issues can pose a hindrance to the growth and development of students in the educational process and their pursuit of a future. Support from family, educational institutions, and the community is crucial. Unfortunately, currently, mental health service programs in Islamic educational institutions are not consistent, and there is no systematic management of mental health education based on Islamic principles, resulting in suboptimal early detection of mental health disorders. However, Islam places significant emphasis on human mental health. This article aims to explain the principles of managing mental health education based on Islamic teachings. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review approach. The principles of managing mental health in educational institutions involve both promotive and preventive aspects and engage various stakeholders, including guidance counselors, parents, medical professionals, psychologists, and psychiatrists. These principles encompass efforts to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health issues, implement sustainable programs, assist staff, students, and teachers in early detection of mental health disorders, foster two-way communication, provide mental health services, and enhance well-being. Additionally, Islamic teachings pay special attention to human mental health by promoting the purification of the soul with sincerity, a moderate approach, setting an example, maintaining obedience, avoiding sinful acts, and drawing closer to Allah.
