Abstract

The rapid acceleration of digital transformation, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, has drastically reshaped consumer behavior and necessitated adaptation within the healthcare sector, including pharmacy retail. Independent drugstores in Indonesia face mounting pressure to digitalize their operations to meet evolving customer demands, particularly through the adoption of integrated pharmacy operational systems (e-iPOS). This research examines the factors influencing pharmacists’ acceptance and use of such digital systems using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT-2) model. A structured questionnaire was distributed to pharmacists across Indonesia, with 202 valid responses analyzed through structural equation modeling using SmartPLS. The study reveals that social influence, price value, and habit significantly affect pharmacists’ behavioral intention to adopt e-iPOS, with habit also directly influencing actual usage behavior. Surprisingly, traditional constructs like performance expectancy and effort expectancy were not significant predictors. These findings underscore the importance of peer influence, perceived value, and behavioral habituation in driving technology adoption in the pharmaceutical sector. The results provide actionable insights for developers of digital pharmacy platforms and health policymakers aiming to support digital transformation in independent pharmacies, particularly through tailored training, pricing strategies, and advocacy campaigns involving key opinion leaders in the pharmacy community.

Abstract

The relationship of transformational leadership (individual consideration and intellectual stimulation) on employee attitudes (job performance, organizational commitment, self-efficacy, and job involvement) are investigated in this study. This study includes 311 participants from different startups categories such as food & beverages, agriculture, retail, service, and manufacture. Data is collected using Google Forms and evaluated using multiple linear regression. Findings showed that different elements of individual consideration and intellectual stimulation have particularly various effects on employees’ attitudes. The results of this study will be valuable to startups or companies which adopt individual consideration and intellectual stimulation as their variables to understand employees better and to create a manager training program that aligns with the findings.

Abstract

The study underscores the profound impact of social media marketing on the brand image and customer engagement of tourism businesses in Bali. Businesses that consistently project a positive and authentic image on social media platforms can foster trust and credibility, leading to increased brand loyalty and repeat business. However, small businesses encounter challenges such as time constraints and lack of technical expertise in implementing effective social media strategies. Outsourcing social media marketing or hiring professionals with the necessary expertise is recommended to address these obstacles. By prioritizing content sharing, brand image building, and customer engagement, small tourism businesses can effectively leverage social media to compete with larger players and reach a broader audience, ultimately enhancing their sales performance and remaining competitive in the evolving landscape of social media marketing.

Abstract

Financial inclusion is a critical driver of economic development, particularly among unbanked populations. In the Philippines, despite the widespread use of mobile phones, the adoption of mobile financial services remains low among low-income earners, especially among rank-and-file personnel such as janitors and security staff in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the National Capital Region (NCR). This study investigates the relationship between the level of awareness of digital technology and the frequency of financial mobile service usage among these personnel. Using a quantitative descriptive research design, data were collected from 286 respondents across seven SUCs. The study measured awareness through indicators of digital technology knowledge, engagement, and decision-making, while financial service usage focused on payment transactions, money transfers, and remittances. Statistical analysis using Pearson correlation revealed a significant positive relationship between awareness of digital technology and financial service usage. The findings underscore the need for targeted digital literacy programs and policy reforms to enhance financial inclusion for underserved segments. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the digital transformation of financial services and offers practical implications for educational institutions, financial service providers, and policymakers.
