Abstract

Copyright is an exclusive right automatically granted to creators upon the realization of their work in a tangible form, in accordance with declarative legal principles and within the scope of existing legislation. Copyright infringement causes significant harm to creators, particularly through economic loss. Therefore, legal protection of copyright must be enforced effectively. Cinematographic works, such as films, are among the creative works protected by copyright law. However, in practice, digital piracy is prevalent, with many individuals illegally downloading or reproducing original films. The development of information technology has brought substantial benefits but also harmful effects, including the widespread occurrence of digital piracy. The lack of public awareness and understanding regarding copyright law enforcement contributes to persistent violations, including illegal film downloading. This study examines the legal and ethical implications of digital piracy and explores the enforcement of copyright law to address the issue of illegal downloading in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Light Rail Transit (LRT) system in Palembang serves as a major public transportation mode that operates on elevated railways to ensure efficient and modern urban transit. However, the existing ticketing process still relies on cash transactions and member cards, and ticket sales are conducted conventionally without optimal utilization of digital information systems. This approach forces passengers to visit stations physically to purchase tickets and check departure schedules, which is inefficient and time-consuming. This study aims to design and develop an online e-ticketing information system for the Palembang LRT using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. The proposed system enables passengers to book tickets and access real-time departure information through a mobile-based website. The implementation of this e-ticketing system provides greater convenience, reduces queues at ticket counters, and supports the government’s efforts to promote digital transformation in public services.

Abstract

SMP Patra Mandiri 2 Palembang is an educational institution affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted face-to-face learning activities. Consequently, the entire learning process was conducted online. The situation underscored the critical role of teaching materials in facilitating effective learning. Teaching materials are instructional resources designed in accordance with the curriculum to achieve established competency standards and learning objectives. In the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subject, teaching and learning are generally carried out in computer laboratories, where teachers rely on printed manuals to guide students during practical sessions. This conventional approach limits the delivery of updated knowledge. Therefore, a web-based system for developing ICT teaching materials was designed using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. CTL emphasizes connecting academic content with real-world situations to enhance students’ understanding and engagement. The research resulted in a web-based ICT teaching material platform grounded in CTL principles. The system serves as an effective medium for online learning, providing teachers with an efficient tool to deliver instructional materials and students with flexible access to learning resources.
