Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di startup digital. Startup digital merupakan jenis perusahaan yang berkembang pesat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, dengan ciri khas budaya kerja yang fleksibel dan inovatif. Meskipun banyak penelitian sebelumnya yang meneliti pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja di sektor konvensional, sedikit sekali yang mengkaji hal ini dalam konteks startup digital, khususnya di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengisi gap tersebut dengan mengkaji faktor-faktor lingkungan kerja yang meliputi fleksibilitas waktu, kebijakan keseimbangan kerja-kehidupan, dan budaya organisasi yang mendukung inovasi. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dengan instrumen kuesioner yang mengukur dua variabel utama: lingkungan kerja dan kepuasan kerja. Data dikumpulkan dari 124 karyawan yang bekerja di berbagai startup digital di Malang, Indonesia, dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa lingkungan kerja yang baik berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di startup digital. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan startup digital disarankan untuk memperhatikan penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung fleksibilitas, keseimbangan kerja-kehidupan, dan inovasi guna meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan mereka. Kebijakan yang memprioritaskan kesejahteraan karyawan akan berkontribusi pada keberhasilan organisasi secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Academic stress is a psychological condition frequently experienced by students, particularly during final exam preparation, and may negatively affect mental health and academic performance. This study aimed to examine gender differences in academic stress levels among senior high school students. A comparative quantitative cross-sectional design was employed. The sample consisted of 60 twelfth-grade students of SMAN 1 Padang Sago (30 males, 30 females) selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a 20-item Likert-scale academic stress questionnaire with established validity (r > .30) and reliability (α = .87). After meeting assumptions of normality and homogeneity, an independent samples t-test was conducted. The results revealed a significant gender difference in academic stress, with female students reporting higher stress levels than male students, t(58) = 2.41, p = .02, 95% CI [-11.16, -1.04], Cohen’s d = 0.79. The effect size indicates a medium-to-large practical significance. These findings highlight the importance of gender-sensitive interventions in managing academic stress within school settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of brand image, price, product quality, and promotion on purchasing decisions on Shopee. The study is a case study involving students of STIE Perdagangan Padang. The research sample consisted of 120 students from STIE Perdagangan Padang. The method employed was a quantitative approach by collecting numerical data, which were analyzed using statistical techniques with SPSS version 27. The results indicate that the four variables price, brand image, promotion, and product quality independently have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at a significance level of α = 0.05. The price variable shows a correlation coefficient of 0.778, promotion (X2) of 0.723, brand image (X3) of 0.804, and product quality (X4) of 0.785, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 for each variable.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of culture shock experienced by learners of Indonesian as a Foreign Language (BIPA) and to analyze its impact on their learning motivation. The background of this study arises from the increasing interest of international students in learning Indonesian, which simultaneously brings challenges as they enter new social, academic, and cultural environments. Culture shock becomes an inevitable phenomenon, particularly when learners encounter values, habits, and communication styles that differ significantly from those of their home countries. In this context, the process of learning a new language cannot be separated from cultural adaptation, which plays an essential role in determining the success of language acquisition. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through semi-structured interviews involving two foreign students at Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. The data were analyzed using Sugiyono’s interactive analysis model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Language barriers emerged as the most dominant factor influencing learning motivation, as they disrupted the fulfillment of basic psychological needs in Self-Determination Theory namely autonomy, competence, and relatedness. However, as the learners progressed into the recovery and adjustment phases, their motivation increased in line with improved language skills and social interaction. This study underscores the importance of cultural adaptation support in BIPA learning environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peluang dan tantangan pembelajaran personal berbasis kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa serta merumuskan kontribusi konseptual dalam pengembangannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan dengan analisis konseptual-kritis terhadap literatur bereputasi (2019–2025). Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi dan sintesis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola, hubungan, dan kesenjangan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran personal berbasis AI memiliki karakteristik adaptif, responsif, dan berbasis data yang mampu mendukung pengembangan kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, refleksi, dan pemecahan masalah siswa. Namun, efektivitasnya sangat bergantung pada desain pedagogis, karena implementasi yang berorientasi pada latihan mekanistik cenderung tidak mendorong berpikir kritis secara optimal. Selain itu, ditemukan tantangan utama berupa kesenjangan digital, keterbatasan kompetensi guru, serta isu etika dan bias algoritmik. Sebagai kontribusi ilmiah, penelitian ini mengembangkan model AI-Personalized Critical Thinking Framework (AI-PCTF) yang mengintegrasikan tiga dimensi utama, yaitu sistem AI adaptif, pedagogi berorientasi berpikir kritis, dan kontrol etis-humanistik. Model ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan berpikir kritis melalui AI hanya dapat dicapai melalui integrasi teknologi, pedagogi, dan nilai. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya desain pembelajaran yang bermakna, kebijakan berbasis etika, serta penguatan kapasitas guru dalam mengoptimalkan AI sebagai alat transformasi pendidikan.

Abstract

Transfer pricing has become a critical issue in international taxation as it is often associated with profit shifting and tax avoidance strategies. This study aims to examine the effect of tax, corporate governance, and bonus mechanisms on transfer pricing decisions in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2021–2024. The study employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design and applies multiple linear regression analysis to 60 observations selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that tax and bonus mechanisms do not significantly affect transfer pricing decisions, suggesting that economic incentives are not always the primary drivers of related-party transaction policies. In contrast, corporate governance, proxied by institutional ownership, has a significant effect, highlighting the crucial role of monitoring mechanisms in limiting managerial opportunism. Simultaneously, all variables significantly influence transfer pricing decisions. These results emphasize that transfer pricing practices are more strongly driven by corporate governance mechanisms than by purely economic factors, underscoring the importance of good corporate governance in enhancing transparency and accountability in corporate decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the intention to use accounting software among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Padang City by applying the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. This research employed a quantitative approach using purposive sampling, involving 100 MSME actors who have used accounting software. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate that the model has strong explanatory power, with an R-square value of 0.844. Empirically, performance expectancy and facilitating conditions have a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention, while effort expectancy and social influence do not have a significant effect. These findings suggest that perceived usefulness and the availability of supporting infrastructure are the main determinants of accounting software adoption among MSMEs. The study highlights the importance of improving digital literacy and strengthening technological infrastructure to support digital transformation in the MSME sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of technology-based adaptive learning in improving student engagement and Indonesian language learning outcomes among elementary school students. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The participants consisted of 60 fifth-grade students from an elementary school in Padang, Indonesia, divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received adaptive learning through a Learning Management System (LMS) equipped with personalized learning features, while the control group received conventional instruction. The learning focus was on reading comprehension and identifying main ideas in nonfiction texts. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, student engagement questionnaires, and classroom observations. Data analysis was conducted using paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, N-Gain, and Cohen’s d effect size analysis. The findings revealed that technology-based adaptive learning significantly improved students’ learning outcomes compared to conventional learning (p < 0.05), with a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.12). In addition, student engagement in the experimental group was higher across cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions. The results indicate that adaptive learning supported by technology creates a more personalized, interactive, and meaningful learning experience. Therefore, technology-based adaptive learning has strong potential to support literacy development and improve the quality of Indonesian language learning in elementary schools in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of utilizing learning analytics in digital learning environments. The research employed a systematic literature review of 30 scholarly articles published between 2015 and 2025, retrieved from reputable academic databases. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key patterns, trends, and issues in the implementation of learning analytics. The findings reveal that learning analytics has significant potential to enhance learning quality through predictive functions, personalized learning, and improved student engagement. However, its implementation faces critical challenges, particularly related to ethical concerns, data privacy, limited data literacy, and insufficient integration with pedagogical approaches. The study also highlights the dominance of a technocentric perspective, which often overlooks the humanistic dimensions of education. As a contribution, this study proposes the Integrative Learning Analytics Pedagogical-Based Model (ILAP), which integrates technological, pedagogical, and ethical dimensions into a holistic framework. The implications emphasize the need to strengthen educators’ data literacy, develop robust data governance policies, and promote context-sensitive and sustainable implementation of learning analytics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential and limitations of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in learning, particularly in relation to conceptual understanding. The study employs a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review (SLR) of peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025. Data were collected from major academic databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect, and analyzed using thematic and critical descriptive methods. The findings indicate that AR and VR have significant potential to enhance visualization of abstract concepts, as well as students’ motivation and engagement. However, their impact on conceptual understanding remains inconsistent and is highly dependent on instructional design, pedagogical integration, and cognitive load. The study also reveals a gap between improved affective outcomes and cognitive learning results. Furthermore, factors such as teacher readiness, infrastructure, and technological access play a crucial role in determining implementation effectiveness. This study highlights that AR and VR are not merely technological innovations but require pedagogy-driven integration to achieve meaningful learning outcomes. Therefore, future research should focus on developing integrative learning models that balance immersion and cognitive effectiveness.
