DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar is an international, open access, multidisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed journal that is online publishes two times in a year. Abstract

This study aims to describe the observations about how the strategies of SD N Butuh Temanggung in developing the character of students who are victims of broken home through collaboration between families and teachers. The social behavior of students who are victims of broken home in SD N Butuh Temanggung is interesting to explore because of the social behavior of students such as violating school rules, opposing, being lazy to go to school or skipping school, lazy to study, lack of enthusiasm for learning, harsh talk, and likes to disturb friends and teachers. The data analysis technique is the triangulation technique, where the data that has been collected is summarized and reduced then its validity is checked. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques by means of interviews and observations. The results showed that in implementing character education for children of broken home victims at SD N Butuh Temanggung, it was carried out through (1) instilling the values of the school's vision and mission in their daily activities; (2) creating a character education program; (3) establishing school rules and class rules; (4) applying religious and ethical values; (5) monitoring the disciplinary behavior of students at home through a daily activity log; (6) involving families and parents in children's character education activities; dan (7) involving the school committee.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of classroom management through Google Classroom during online learning at Muhammadiyah Kadisoka Elementary School. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis through several stages, namely the preliminary study stage, the data collection stage, the data reduction stage by looking for the equivalence of the obtained data, the data presentation stage, then closed with data verification. The validity of the data was obtained through a credibility test in the form of traingulation of data collection techniques and triangulation of data sources. The results showed that the implementation of class management through Google Classroom during online learning at Muhammadiyah Kadisoka Elementary School is a good way to manage classrooms using the features available in Google Classroom. The use of Google Classroom also allows teachers to carry out classroom management activities in order to create conducive, pleasant classroom conditions.

Abstract

Numeration literacy is an ability to formulate, and interpret mathematics in contexts variety, including the ability to reason mathematically using concepts, facts, procedures, as a tool to describe, predict, and explain an event or phenomenon. This research aims to determine the feasibility of moodle-based e-module to increase numeration literacy for elementary school students. This study uses the Research Development (RD) model from Borg Gall with ten development stages. Data collection technique using purposive sampling. The developed product was then validated by media expert, content expert, and learning expert by using instrument validation sheets that are tailored to each expert. The data on the feasibility of moodle-based e-module in the form of the percentage of e-module validity and notes from experts. The results of the feasibility of moodle-based e-module were analyzed descriptively. The result of this development research is a moodle-based e-module for 3rd grader elementary school students by media expert obtain a very feasible level of validity with a percentage of 100%, material expert obtains a proper validity level with a percentage of 71%, and learning expert with a very feasible level of validity with a percentage of 97%. These results show that the e-module developed is in the feasible criteria and can be implemented with a few revisions for the material.

Abstract

Caring for the environment is one of the visions of SD N Krebet Pajangan Kulon Progo. In the pandemic season, the school culture has experienced very significant changes in the learning process and other school activities. The purpose of this study is to describe how to build environmental awareness of Pre and during the Pandemic Season in SD N Krebet. This study uses an approach qualitative which is included in the intricic case research class with descriptive analysis. The data collection technique is carried out namely observation to determine conditions updates, documentation, and interviews with informants to get data about the conditions of learning and culture school before and during pandemic season. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of school culture that supports the realization of a vision of environmental awareness is very different in its management both pre and during a pandemic. The management of school culture is seen from the aspects of program planning, implementation and evaluation. When pre-pendemic management to build environmental awareness is carried out more varied, whereas during a pandemic, the management of school culture tends to emphasize knowledge and advice only, but there are some life skills that are taught, namely making masks and using used items as soap containers to wash hands.

Abstract

The background of this research was the low responsibility and low mathematical critical thinking of fourth-grade students of SDN Kentungan in. This study aimed to: 1) describe efforts to improve the students' responsibility and critical thinking through the application of a contextual learning model; 2) improve the responsibility of fourth-grade students through the application of contextual learning models; 3) improve the critical thinking of fourth-grade students through the application of contextual learning models. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were 24 grade IVA students of SDN Kentungan in the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The object of this research was to improve the students’ responsibility and critical thinking. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and observation sheets. The data analysis technique was descriptive quantitative. The results showed that: 1) Efforts to increase students' responsibility and critical thinking have been successfully carried out by using the contextual learning model through the following steps; a) Relating, b) Experiencing, c) Cooperating, d) Applying, e) Transfering. 2) The application of a contextual learning model improved the students’ responsibility. It could be seen from the increase in the average score for the initial conditions of 53,3% (less responsible). In the first cycle, it increased to 60.3% (Sufficiently Responsible). Then, in the second cycle, it increased to 73.5% (responsible). 3) The application of a contextual learning model improved the students' critical thinking. It could be seen from the increase in the initial condition average score of 56.2% (less critical). In the first cycle, it increased to 60.1% (quite critical), and in the second cycle, it increased to 71.85% (critical).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the Effectiveness of Problem Based Learning Learning Model on Improving the Reasoning Ability of Class II Students in terms of fractional materials assisted by audio-visual media. The research design used in this study was the One Group Pretest Posttest Design. From the pretest value the average value of the class is 57.88 while the posttest value is 86.83, and based on the t-test analysis obtained tcount (34.449) t table (2.062) so H0 is rejected, meaning that the average before and after being treated is not same. Also shown in the classical mastery test, the results of the pretest reached 27% classical learning completeness. The results of the posttest achieved a learning completeness of 88%. A class is said to be complete if there are 67% of students who have completed learning. Thus, the posttest results can be said to be classically complete with 88% of students completing learning. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Audio-Visual Media is effective in increasing the reasoning abilities of second grade students at SD Negeri Pleburan 02 Semarang.
