Abstract

This study investigates the effect of SiO2–TiO2/PANI nanocomposite concentration on the surface morphology of cotton fabrics relevant to self-cleaning performance. A controlled laboratory experiment was conducted using four compositional ratios, while TiO2 content was fixed to isolate the structural role of SiO2 and PANI. Nanocomposites were synthesized via a sol–gel route, deposited by dip coating, and characterized using SEM combined with quantitative image analysis. The results demonstrate a systematic morphological evolution from relatively homogeneous, fine particle distributions to coarser and more agglomerated structures as PANI concentration decreased. Particle size distributions ranged predominantly between 40–90 nm, with higher PANI fractions promoting dispersion uniformity and reduced surface roughness. Increasing SiO2 dominance intensified particle growth and agglomeration, indicating altered interfacial interactions within the composite layer. Comparative analysis with prior studies confirms that oxide–polymer balance governs micro–nano architecture on textile substrates. These findings elucidate composition–structure relationships critical for optimizing functional textile coatings

Abstract

This study examines digital transformation in higher education through the lens of university students’ use of communication technologies in learning contexts. Focusing on expectation confirmation, actual usage, and satisfaction, the findings reveal that students generally perceive communication technologies as meeting their performance expectations, particularly email systems and instant messaging platforms. Email emerges as the most dominant technology, demonstrating the highest levels of confirmation, frequent use, and satisfaction, indicating its continued relevance as a stable and formal academic communication medium. Instant messaging also shows strong acceptance, reflecting students’ preference for rapid and flexible interaction. In contrast, video conferencing systems, social media, and collaborative technologies exhibit lower levels of regular use and satisfaction, accompanied by substantial neutral responses, suggesting partial integration into academic practices. These patterns indicate that while digital transformation has advanced, its implementation remains uneven across different types of communication technologies.

Abstract

Low user engagement and long-term retention remained key challenges in mobile learning applications despite advancements in instructional content and functionality. This study aimed to examine the role of gamification elements and micro-interactions in enhancing user engagement in mobile-based language learning applications, with a focus on Duolingo and similar platforms. A Systematic Literature Review method was employed, following the stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion. Literature searches were conducted through Google Scholar and ResearchGate, covering studies published between 2020 and 2025. Ten articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed using qualitative synthesis. The results indicated that gamification elements such as points, badges, leaderboards, and streaks contributed to increased learner motivation and consistent application use. In addition, micro-interactions supported user engagement by improving system clarity, interaction comfort, and feedback responsiveness. This study concluded that a balanced integration of gamification and micro-interactions was essential for developing sustainable and effective mobile learning applications.

Abstract

The development of web technology has increased the need for digital data storage and management systems that can be accessed online. One form of such systems is a web-based digital image repository that allows users to store, search, view, and download image collections efficiently. This study aims to design and implement a web-based digital image repository using React JS as the frontend and Laravel as the backend supported by RESTful API. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The results show that the system successfully provides core features such as gallery display, image search, and image download. Functional testing indicates that the search and download features work properly according to user needs. Although the login and upload features are still under development, the system has generally achieved the research objective as an accessible and efficient web-based digital image repository

Abstract

This internship (Kerja Praktik) was conducted at PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol in the IT and Project Management Office Division with the objective of providing practical work experience for students in the field of computer networking and information technology. The main focus of this internship was the basic configuration of MikroTik devices and their implementation in supporting the company’s IT operational activities. The methods applied during the internship included workplace observation, hands-on practice in network device configuration, and documentation of IT operational activities. The basic configurations performed consisted of network topology design, IP address configuration on ether and bridge-hotspot interfaces, as well as network connectivity testing to ensure proper system operation. In addition, the student was involved in supporting IT operational tasks, such as preparing computer equipment and network systems at the Ancol ticketing area ahead of the New Year celebration. The results of this internship indicate that basic MikroTik configuration plays a crucial role in maintaining network stability and ensuring smooth IT operations within the company. Through this internship, the student gained technical knowledge and practical experience that are highly relevant as preparation for entering the professional world in the field of information technology.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based book borrowing information system for a private library using the Laravel framework. The research adopts an applied research approach within a software engineering paradigm, employing the Waterfall model to ensure systematic development, clear documentation, and procedural replicability. The study was conducted at Zahra’sBook, a small-scale private library characterized by limited resources and manual transaction management. Data were collected through structured observation, semi-structured interviews, and analysis of system artifacts, supported by relevant scientific literature. System development followed sequential stages, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and functional testing using black-box testing techniques. The results demonstrate that the developed system effectively supports core library services, including catalog management, borrowing and returning transactions, penalty calculation, and reporting. The implementation improves operational efficiency, data accuracy, and service transparency for both administrators and users.

Abstract

Vocational education, particularly Vocational High Schools (SMK), plays a strategic role in preparing superior human resources who are competent in their fields and ready to enter the workforce. In this context, the government is encouraging the implementation of the Link and Match program as an effort to improve alignment and gaps between education and the needs of the workforce and the industrial world. However, the implementation of the Link and Match program in vocational high schools in the Tangerang area is currently still carried out conventionally. The communication process, recording collaborations, and managing Industrial Work Practice activities still rely on correspondence, manual messages, and face-to-face meetings. This condition results in data not being documented centrally, making it difficult for schools to obtain comprehensive information regarding program implementation. Therefore, an analysis of the current system is necessary to understand the current Link and Match implementation mechanism. Synchronizing the vocational curriculum with the needs of graduate users through the Link and Match program is expected to produce graduates with a professional attitude, achievement motivation, competence, and high competitiveness. The evaluation of this system is carried out using the Black Box Testing method.
