Abstract

This study introduces a transparent deep learning framework for credit default analysis that integrates Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) with dual interpretability mechanisms SHapley Additive Explanations (SHAP) and Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations (LIME). Using the Default of Credit Card Clients dataset from the UCI Machine Learning Repository, the research develops an optimized model that combines predictive precision with explanatory transparency. The ANN model achieved an accuracy of 81.8% and an AUC of 0.77, outperforming conventional classifiers such as XGBoost and LightGBM while maintaining interpretive clarity. The hybrid SHAP–LIME configuration provides both global and local explanations, identifying repayment status (PAY_0), billing amount (BILL_AMT1), and credit limit (LIMIT_BAL) as the most influential predictors. Empirical findings confirm that interpretability enhances trust, auditability, and regulatory alignment without sacrificing statistical performance. The framework offers a methodological contribution to transparent financial modeling, bridging the gap between algorithmic precision and human interpretive accountability. It advances the paradigm of responsible credit risk management by transforming black-box neural architectures into auditable, evidence-based decision tools for financial institutions

Abstract

Pembelajaran sejarah seringkali menghadapi berbagai hambatan, terutama karena sebagian besar siswa memandang mata pelajaran ini sebagai sesuatu yang monoton, kurang menarik, dan sulit diingat. Persepsi negatif terhadap materi sejarah ini berdampak pada minat dan motivasi siswa untuk belajar. Akibatnya, pencapaian hasil belajar dalam sejarah cenderung tidak menunjukkan hasil optimal atau memenuhi harapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, khususnya pada materi sejarah peradaban Islam, yang dapat meningkatkan minat siswa dan membangun perspektif positif terhadap pembelajaran sejarah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Peneliti mengembangkan media pembelajaran dengan memodifikasi permainan papan Monopoly yang disesuaikan dengan konteks materi sejarah peradaban Islam. Penelitian ini menghasilkan pengembangan media pembelajaran baru berupa Gloria Game Board. Uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa media ini memenuhi kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase penilaian: aspek keterampilan 94,23%, bahan media 91,67%, pembelajaran 92,86%, dan konten 95,71%.

Abstract

This study presents the design, fabrication, and performance evaluation of a gas-fueled metal melting furnace developed using the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) technique for small-scale foundries. The objective was to create an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional solid-fuel furnaces commonly used in micro-industrial workshops. Fabrication employed locally available mild steel and refractory materials to ensure low production costs and accessibility. Experimental trials using aluminum revealed that the prototype achieved core melting temperatures above 900 °C and an average gas-to-metal ratio of 0.35 kg/kg, with potential optimization to 0.25 kg/kg. The furnace demonstrated approximately 22% thermal efficiency, exceeding conventional designs by 4%. Cleaner combustion reduced CO₂ emissions by 267 kg per ton of molten metal, while metallurgical tests indicated a 38% reduction in inclusion size and improved casting uniformity. The results confirm that SMAW-based fabrication can yield structurally reliable, cost-effective, and energy-efficient furnaces suitable for community-scale metal industries. The study supports sustainable industrial practices by promoting local manufacturing capabilities and aligning with energy transition goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah pemanfaatan teknologi multimedia interaktif sebagai media inovatif dalam mempromosikan program wajib belajar di Indonesia melalui iklan layanan masyarakat. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih adanya kesenjangan akses pendidikan dan infrastruktur teknologi yang menghambat efektivitas kampanye konvensional. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis iklan layanan masyarakat digital untuk menafsirkan elemen visual, simbolik, dan naratif yang terkait dengan pesan wajib belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif melalui animasi, narasi audiovisual, dan fitur interaktif meningkatkan daya ingat pesan, resonansi emosional, serta partisipasi masyarakat dibandingkan media tradisional. Peningkatan akses internet dan penggunaan perangkat digital di Indonesia memperkuat potensi kampanye interaktif, meski ketimpangan akses teknologi antarwilayah masih menjadi kendala. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan komunikasi pendidikan bergantung pada inovasi teknologi yang disertai desain adaptif terhadap konteks sosial budaya dan tingkat literasi digital. Integrasi multimedia interaktif menjadi langkah strategis dalam komunikasi pendidikan untuk memperkuat kesadaran inklusif dan budaya belajar berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Islamic managerial values into digital governance as a strategic framework for achieving sustainable educational management. Grounded in qualitative descriptive research, it investigates how principles such as amanah (trust), ‘adl (justice), shura (consultation), and itqan (excellence) can be operationalized within digital management systems of Islamic educational institutions. Data were derived from document analysis and semi-structured interviews across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia, supported by official reports from the Ministry of Education and Culture (2023), UNICEF Indonesia (2021), and the International Telecommunication Union (2023). The findings reveal a substantial gap between digital readiness and ethical institutionalization, as infrastructure and human-resource competencies lag behind student adaptability. The proposed global framework interlinks value codification, technological architecture, human-capital capability, and sustainability measurement to create a cohesive, value-driven governance model. Integrating ethical and technological dimensions strengthens transparency, accountability, and institutional resilience. The study concludes that embedding Islamic managerial ethics into digital governance is essential to achieving moral coherence and long-term sustainability in global Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) method as a systematic strategy in inventory control for phase-out products to reduce deadstock at PT XYZ. The background of the study shows a significant increase in the amount of scrapping in the last three years due to the accumulation of uncontrolled deadstock. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and historical company data. Through the PDCA stages, it was found that the main causes of deadstock stemmed from the inconsistency of phase-out control methods, manual monitoring processes by the PIC, and uncertainty in customer demand. The implementation of solutions in the form of standardizing control methods, digitizing inventory systems, and implementing an early warning system yielded significant results. The evaluation results showed that the improvement strategy was able to reduce the potential for deadstock by up to 80.7% in the sample product model. Thus, the PDCA method proved to be effective as a continuous improvement approach in inventory control during the product phase-out. This research is recommended to be applied more widely in inventory management in companies-.

Abstract

Improving production quality is one of the key factors in maintaining a company’s competitiveness, particularly in the manufacturing sector such as automotive and electronics. One approach that can be applied to achieve this efficiency is the 5R/5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) and Kaizen, which focus on establishing an orderly, clean, and disciplined work culture as practiced in Japanese industries. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 5S and Kaizen methods as an effort to improve the quality of the spot welding production process at PT.Manufacture Automotive. The research was carried out through field observations as an application of industrial theory in a real work environment. The methods used include direct observation, interviews, analysis of 5S implementation, and evaluation of conditions before and after improvements. Data were collected using a checklist audit sheet and analyzed descriptively to measure changes in efficiency and workplace organization. The results show that the implementation of the 5R/5S method successfully improved work quality and productivity. The 5S- condition assessment score increased from 22.24% (Not good category) to 67% (fair category) after the improvements were implemented.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health (OSH) is a crucial aspect in ensuring smooth production processes and protecting workers, especially in the manufacturing industry, which has a high level of occupational risk. This study aims to analyze employees' perceptions of OSH awareness and its impact on work processes at PT Breadcrumb X using the 4M+1E approach. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation of production employees and representatives of the OSH/SHE department. Data analysis was performed using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity maintained through source and method triangulation and member check. The results showed that employees had a basic understanding of K3, but its implementation was inconsistent due to limitations in training, PPE facilities, supervision, and the condition of machinery, work methods, materials, and the work environment, which were risky. These findings confirm that K3 awareness needs to be strengthened through management commitment, work system improvements, and active employee involvement in order to create a sustainable safety culture that supports the effectiveness of work processes..

manufacturing systems. This condition causes materials to experience longer storage times, thereby increasing the risk of physical damage, especially corrosion of metal materials. This study aims to analyze the factors causing corrosion risks triggered by overstocking, and evaluate the implementation of Kanban Reduction as an inventory control strategy to reduce material exposure to corrosive environments. The methods used include field observation, measuring warehouse humidity levels, analyzing inventory before and after Kanban Reduction, and recalculating the number of kanban cards. The results show a decrease in WIP levels by 35.4%, a reduction in storage time from 14 to 6 days, and a decrease in scrap due to corrosion from 10.8% to 3.2%. These findings reinforce that Kanban Reduction is not only relevant for production flow efficiency but also for mitigating corrosion risks in materials. This study analyzes stock records using tools such as Fishbone diagrams and the 5S method. The study results showed that stock discrepancies were caused by incomplete in/out transactions, defective goods undergoing remelting, and unrecorded goods. Proposed improvements include implementing the 5S method to improve warehouse organization and stricter stock recording controls.

Abstract

Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) is widely used on low carbon steels such as ST 37, but the quality of the joint is greatly influenced by post-welding treatment, particularly the cooling method. This study aims to analyze the effect of water, oil, and air cooling media on the mechanical properties and hardness of SMAW welds on ST 37 steel. The method used is quantitative experimental research with fixed welding parameters, namely a current of 85 A and an RB E 6013 electrode, while the cooling media are varied. The tests included tensile testing based on ASTM E8, Vickers hardness testing, and microstructure analysis. The results showed that water cooling produced the highest yield strength and hardness (179 HV), but tended to reduce the ability for further plastic deformation. Oil cooling provided more balanced mechanical properties with the highest strain of 17.40% and relatively high tensile strength. Air quenching produced the highest maximum tensile strength of 425.26 N/mm² with good ductility and a lower risk of cracking. The conclusion of this study indicates that air quenching is the most optimal method for SMAW welding of ST 37 steel because it produces stable, ductile, and reliable joints for structural applications.
