Abstract

In today's digital era, educational institutions face challenges in managing various academic information systems that require separate authentication for users. This often causes difficulties in accessing various applications with different logins. This study aims to develop and implement Single Sign-On in the academic information system of SMP Dharma Bhakti Palembang using the Agile Development method. Agile Development was chosen because of its iterative approach that allows flexibility in system development and improvement based on user feedback. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method, which focuses on testing system functionality based on input and output without considering the internal structure of the code. This testing includes user authentication validation and SSO integration with various academic applications. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of SSO can simplify the user authentication process and reduce the risk of login errors. Thus, this study provides an innovative solution that can be a reference for other educational institutions in developing more integrated academic information systems.

Abstract

In today's digital era, educational institutions require an information system that can facilitate the process of serving and managing student data quickly and efficiently. SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang still manages student attendance data conventionally, thus requiring a web-based computerized system. This study aims to design and develop a web-based student attendance application using the Laravel framework and Smart QR Card technology. System development was carried out using the Agile Development method. This method allows the development of a system that is adaptive to user needs. The results of this study are a student attendance web application that can assist the process of attendance data collection, monitoring student attendance, managing class schedules, and attendance reports. System testing was carried out using the Blackbox Testing method to ensure functionality runs according to requirements. With this application, it is expected that the process of recording student attendance data at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang will be faster and more accurate.

Abstract

Quadrant 9 (nine) is a model of employee competency mapping which will be used as a strategy for developing talented individuals and individuals who have weaknesses. In addition, quadrant 9 (nine) is also used in succession planning by identifying anyone who has the potential to become a leader in the organization. This study aims to obtain a data mining algorithm with a more accurate selection feature to find indicators that affect the classification of quadrant 9 competencies. The Forward Selection feature selection algorithm based on Naive Bayes is proven to be accurate and effective in determining the most influential attributes, namely IQ/Thinking Capacity, Self-Management, Social Communication, Service Orientation, Decision Making, Managing Others with 79.10% accuracy results and is included in the "Good Kappa" category.

Abstract

The Department of Population and Civil Registration of Ogan Ilir Regency faces challenges in managing service data due to non-integrated systems and manual reporting processes. These conditions hinder effective performance evaluation and increase the risk of inaccurate data recording. This study aims to develop an interactive service data visualization dashboard using Microsoft Power BI to support real-time monitoring and improve the clarity of service information. The dashboard development follows the ADDIE model up to the development stage to ensure alignment with user needs. The dataset used consists of 8,190 validated service records from the year 2024. The resulting dashboard displays key indicators, including total services, service divisions, service types, monthly trends, and interactive filters. The main contribution of this study lies in providing a structured and integrated visualization model that enhances service transparency and enables faster, data-driven decision-making within government agencies.

Abstract

Rice is a strategic commodity in Indonesia, yet its productivity is often threatened by leaf diseases such as Bacterial Leaf Blight, Brown Spot, Narrow Brown Spot, and Tungro. Conventional identification conducted by farmers is subjective and may delay proper treatment. This study implements transfer learning using the MobileNetV2 architecture for rice leaf disease classification. The dataset was collected directly from rice fields in OKU Timur, South Sumatra, consisting of five classes (Bacterial Leaf Blight, Brown Spot, Healthy, Narrow Brown Spot, and Tungro), each containing 300 images except Narrow Brown Spot, which was balanced through light augmentation. All images underwent cropping, resizing to 224×224 pixels, and normalization before being split into training, validation, and testing sets. The proposed model achieved 99.11% validation accuracy and 100% testing accuracy, with near-perfect precision, recall, and f1-score. The model was then deployed into a user-friendly web application using Streamlit, enabling farmers to upload rice leaf images for instant classification and recommended treatments. These findings demonstrate that MobileNetV2 with transfer learning provides accurate early detection of rice leaf diseases and supports better decision-making in rice cultivation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based information system for internship registration and report management at the Palembang City Communication and Informatics Office. Previous studies have developed internship information systems that generally focus on online registration, document submission, certificate generation, academic administration, and notification features. However, existing systems typically do not include secure account verification, structured daily logbook monitoring, or integrated role-based data management tailored for government institutions. These limitations create a gap that this study addresses by developing a more comprehensive and transparent internship management solution. A descriptive qualitative approach was used through interviews and observations, and a prototyping model guided the system development process. The system was built using Next.js, Express.js, MongoDB, JSON Web Token (JWT), Nodemailer, and Tailwind CSS, with features such as online registration, document upload, account verification, daily logbook submission, final report upload, and role-based access for admins and supervisors. Implementation results show improvements in administrative speed, communication, data accuracy, and transparency compared to manual processes. Overall, the system supports a more modern, efficient, and structured internship management process within government institutions.

Abstract

This research analyzes the distribution of public transport services from AKDP and AKDK units in 40 sub-districts in Bogor Regency, an area with rapid population growth that faces congestion due to dependence on private vehicles. The main problem is that service gaps have not been mapped quantitatively, so the aim of this research is to apply clustering techniques to identify underserved areas and provide an objective basis for data-based policy recommendations. The proposed method is a quantitative approach using the K-Means Clustering algorithm on secondary datasets from the Department of Transportation with three main features: number of licensed fleets, number of unlicensed fleets, and total fleet. The main findings succeeded in classifying sub-districts into three clusters, Cluster 0 (established services), Cluster 1 (static growth), and Cluster 2 (significant service gaps dominated by informal fleets). In conclusion, this research proves the existence of significant service disparities, and shows that the clustering method is effective in mapping priority zones for more equitable transportation policy interventions.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the performance of Naïve Bayes (NB) and Logistic Regression (LR) in classifying the sentiment of skincare product reviews on Tokopedia. A total of 973 reviews were collected and processed through text preprocessing and feature extraction using TF-IDF. Evaluation using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score showed that NB achieved an accuracy of 75.9% but struggled to detect negative sentiment , while LR reached an accuracy of 92.3% with a more balanced classification. It is concluded that Logistic Regression is superior and more suitable for complex e-commerce review datasets, offering practical guidance for effective model selection

Abstract

SIPPMASBIMA UWHS stands for Sistem Informasi Internal Penelitian Pengabdian BIMA Internal UWHS (Internal Information System for Research and Community Service of UWHS), which is designed as a system architecture for uploading research and community service data. The urgency of this research lies in the fact that the previous system used for managing research and community service data at the UWHS LPPM had limitations in data uploading, and lecturers were not accustomed to the system used by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). Therefore, the objective of this research is to develop a new system that is more integrated and user-friendly, with an interface and methods resembling the BIMA system of Kemendikbudristek, to support lecturers in adapting their data input practices in accordance with the ministry’s system. The method applied is Agile Development, ensuring flexibility in feature development based on user needs. The targeted outcomes include an information system, a journal publication (at least Sinta 4), and a system prototype.

Abstract

Digital watermarking is important for copyright protection, but challenges remain in maintaining a balance between imperceptibility and robustness. This study evaluated Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT)-based watermarking on JPEG images by inserting binary watermarks at the intermediate frequency coefficient of the DCT block 8×8. The method was tested against JPEG compression, Gaussian noise, Gaussian blur, and Salt & Pepper noise to assess the visual quality and durability of the watermark. The results show high visual quality with an average PSNR of 39.99 dB and a SSIM of 0.96, so the watermark is almost imperceptible. Robustness testing yielded a BER of 1.5% on Gaussian noise, 5.2% on JPEG compression, and 8.2% on Salt & Pepper noise. These findings prove that the DCT method is able to maintain image quality and maintain a watermark on most interferences, despite degrading performance in impulse attacks and aggressive compression. In practical terms, this approach can be applied to digital image protection systems and forms the basis for the development of more robust hybrid or adaptive methods in the future.
