Abstract

Community empowerment through the dissemination of eco-enzyme technology made from coffee bean husk waste and household waste represents an environmentally friendly and sustainable waste management initiative. This study aims to introduce and promote the use of eco-enzymes as a solution to reduce waste-related problems in Senyiur Village, Tanjung Subdistrict, North Lombok Regency. The eco-enzymes produced from coffee husk waste and household organic materials can be utilized for various purposes, such as cleaning agents, organic fertilizers, and household waste treatment. Training sessions were conducted to equip the local community with knowledge on simple and effective methods of eco-enzyme production. The outcomes of this training are expected to reduce the volume of improperly managed waste and improve the environmental quality of the village. Moreover, the program has the potential to enhance community income by transforming previously valueless waste into useful products. This initiative is expected to serve as a model for sustainable community empowerment in other areas with similar potential.

Abstract

This service aims to increase the knowledge of pregnant women and parents of toddlers regarding balanced nutrition and stunting prevention in Maluk Village, West Sumbawa. The methods used are interactive counseling, balanced nutritional eating demonstrations, parenting classes, and assistance to local cadres through the Healthy Kitchen to Overcome Stunting (DASHAT). Evaluation was carried out through pre-test and post-test questionnaires, as well as observing the feeding behavior of toddlers. The results showed a significant increase in nutritional knowledge: the participants' average score increased from 45% on the pre-test to 85% after the counseling. Observations of toddlers' eating behavior also show positive changes: the use of local nutritious ingredients increased by 60%, and the frequency of providing additional food according to recommendations increased from 30% to 75%. Parenting classes have proven effective in motivating parents to implement parenting patterns that support children's growth, while DASHAT cadres have been successful in overseeing the sustainability of balanced nutrition practices in families. Conclusion: integrated interventions of education plus local assistance have great potential in reducing the risk of stunting in this region. It is hoped that these results can be adopted by village policy makers and the health service on a wider scale.

Abstract

Digital transformation training in Human Resources (HR) management for the Red and White Cooperative MSMEs in Gunungsari District aims to increase the efficiency of HR management through the use of digital technology. Most cooperative members have not adopted digital technology in managing human resources, which results in administrative processes and decision making that are slow and prone to errors. For this reason, this training focuses on understanding and skills in using digital-based HR management applications, which include recording attendance, managing salaries, and preparing financial reports. The training method used is a workshop approach and direct training with theory and practical sessions. Participants are taught how to operate HR management applications, and are given case studies to practice applying technology in everyday contexts. The results of the training showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and skills regarding digital technology in HR management. Although there are challenges in full implementation in the field, it is hoped that this training can accelerate digital transformation in MSMEs and cooperatives, as well as increase sustainable operational efficiency. This training program also has the potential to become a model for the development of other MSMEs in the region.

Abstract

Economic empowerment of village communities is one of the efforts to improve people's standard of living and independence in the digital era. This research aims to analyze the effect of digital web skills training on community economic empowerment in North Cikarang District. This training program aims to improve people's abilities in utilizing information technology, especially skills in creating and managing websites. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with descriptive data analysis techniques. The research results show that digital web skills training can increase job access, expand business opportunities, and create economic independence for village communities. This training has a positive impact in improving participants' technical skills and digital knowledge, which in turn can improve their quality of life. In addition, this training opens up new job opportunities in the digital sector, such as website creation and online marketing. Overall, this training program plays an important role in supporting economic empowerment and improving the welfare of village communities, especially in North Cikarang District.

Abstract

Handicraft making training is one of the efforts to improve the creative economy in society. This research aims to examine the influence of handicraft making training on empowering the creative economy of the community in Sidoarjo District. This training program involves local communities in making handicrafts such as woven bamboo, ceramics and waste-based products that have sales value. This training is designed to provide new skills for participants and open up business opportunities in the creative economy sector. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis. Data was collected through interviews and direct observation of training participants, as well as analysis of the economic impact generated after the training. The research results show that this training was successful in improving participants' skills in making handicraft products, broadening their insight into the market, and increasing family economic income. Overall, this training has great potential in strengthening the creative economy sector in Sidoarjo District and can be used as a model for community economic empowerment in other areas.

Abstract

The implementation of village information systems (VIS) has become an essential initiative in supporting transparent governance and improving public services at the village level, particularly in underdeveloped regions. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of VIS in enhancing administrative transparency and public service quality in underdeveloped villages in Bali Province. Using a mixed-method approach combining qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys, data were collected from 120 respondents consisting of village officials, community representatives, and local residents in three pilot villages implementing VIS. The results indicate a significant improvement in information accessibility, administrative efficiency, and citizen participation following the adoption of VIS. Statistical analysis reveals a positive correlation between VIS usage intensity and perceived service transparency (r = 0.76, p < 0.05). Qualitative findings further highlight the role of digital literacy and community engagement as key enablers of successful VIS adoption. The study concludes that VIS implementation not only enhances accountability and governance efficiency but also fosters social trust between local governments and citizens. Recommendations are provided to strengthen digital capacity building and ensure the sustainability of VIS initiatives in rural contexts.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has significantly influenced the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital marketing training on empowering MSMEs in Makassar to enhance competitiveness in the digital economy era. Using a qualitative descriptive method with participatory action research (PAR) design, data were collected through interviews, observations, and focus group discussions involving 25 MSME owners who participated in digital marketing training organized by local government and universities. The findings show that digital marketing training significantly improves MSME entrepreneurs’ digital literacy, marketing reach, and sales volume. The use of social media, e-commerce, and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques has enabled MSMEs to expand their markets and enhance brand visibility. The study concludes that continuous digital marketing training, supported by collaborative initiatives between academia, government, and private sectors, is essential to strengthen MSME competitiveness and sustainability in the digital economy era.

Abstract

Kampung Cai Ranca Upas merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata di Kabupaten Bandung yang menawarkan keindahan alam serta potensi wisata edukasi. Namun, promosi yang dilakukan masih terbatas pada metode konvensional, sehingga memerlukan strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aset video sebagai penunjang kegiatan promosi wisata Kampung Cai Ranca Upas. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan mengembangkan konsep video promosi yang menampilkan keindahan alam, fasilitas, dan aktivitas yang dapat dinikmati oleh pengunjung. Aset video ini diharapkan dapat memperluas jangkauan promosi melalui platform digital seperti YouTube dan media sosial lainnya. Selain itu, video ini akan dirancang dengan pendekatan storytelling yang menarik dan informatif, sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya tarik wisata dan jumlah kunjungan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aset video promosi dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap popularitas dan kunjungan wisatawan ke Kampung Cai Ranca Upas, serta membuka peluang bagi pengembangan pariwisata lokal.

Abstract

Perlindungan anak dan pencegahan kekerasan terhadap anak merupakan isu penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh seluruh elemen masyarakat. Di Kecamatan Cileungsi, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat, penyuluhan menjadi salah satu strategi utama dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya perlindungan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran penyuluhan dalam memperkuat perlindungan anak serta mencegah kekerasan terhadap anak di lingkungan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang melibatkan wawancara dengan masyarakat, tokoh agama, dan petugas terkait, serta observasi langsung dalam kegiatan penyuluhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan yang dilakukan oleh berbagai pihak, seperti lembaga pemerintah, organisasi non-pemerintah, dan tokoh masyarakat, memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai hak-hak anak dan pentingnya menghindari segala bentuk kekerasan. Penyuluhan tersebut juga berperan dalam membangun komunikasi yang lebih terbuka antara orang tua, anak, dan masyarakat sekitar, yang pada akhirnya memperkuat perlindungan anak. Meskipun demikian, tantangan masih ada dalam hal keterlibatan aktif seluruh lapisan masyarakat, terutama dalam mengatasi stigma sosial terhadap korban kekerasan anak. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam merumuskan strategi penyuluhan yang lebih efektif untuk mencegah kekerasan terhadap anak di komunitas lokal

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembentukan bank sampah terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat desa dalam pengelolaan limbah di Desa Cilangkap, Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 50 rumah tangga di Desa Cilangkap yang terlibat dalam program bank sampah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden dan wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh masyarakat dan pengelola bank sampah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier untuk mengukur pengaruh pembentukan bank sampah terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan bank sampah memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat desa, yang tercermin dari peningkatan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pengelolaan limbah, peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan, dan peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi melalui program daur ulang sampah. Masyarakat juga menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan limbah yang lebih efektif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan program pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan keberlanjutan lingkungan di desa
