Abstract

Handling stunting cases is still a major focus in Indonesia. Stunting as a public health problem related to chronic malnutrition in children has become an important issue in Indonesia, especially among adolescent age groups who can contribute to the prevention of stunting in the future. This study aims to determine the description of adolescent knowledge about stunting. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey through a questionnaire. The population of all class X students at MAN Kota Tegal was 467 people. Determination of the sample using the Slovin formula, the number of research samples was 215 people. Inclusion criteria: Class X students, aged between 15-16 years and willing to be a research respondent. Data were analyzed univariately. The results showed that most of the respondents were in the moderate category as many as 100 people (46.5%). In the category of good knowledge level as many as 82 people (38.1%) and the category of poor knowledge level as many as 33 people (15.3%). The level of knowledge of adolescents related to stunting still needs to be improved. Most respondents already understand the general knowledge of stunting, but lack understanding related to the long-term impact of stunting, how to prevent stunting in adolescence and specific nutritional handling of stunting in the family.

Abstract

Menstruation is a condition in which a woman experiences pain during menstruation and has a bad effect that causes disruption in carrying out daily activities. This condition can occur for 3 days or more each menstruation. One of the non-pharmacological treatments that can be given for example is Endorphin massage and Effleurage massage. Based on the research journal of Razmjooee and Maria Elvira, both of these treatments are very effective in reducing pain because they both function to produce endorphin hormones. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-post test with two group design. The Wilcoxon test showed that there was a difference in the effectiveness of Endorphin Massage with Lavender Aromatherapy and Effleurage Massage with Lavender Aromatherapy on the intensity of dysmenorrhea pain in adolescent girls, while the Mann Whitney test showed that there was no difference in the effectiveness of Endorphin Massage with Lavender Aromatherapy and Effleurage Massage with Lavender Aromatherapy on the Scale of Menstrual Pain in Adolescent Girls in the Karangdoro Health Center Work Area, Semarang City.It is hoped that the results of this study will be useful for reducing menstrual pain in adolescent girls.

The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a sample size of 50 respondents. Instruments observation sheets FLACC. The analysis test used the independent t-test.Research Results: Pain response during infant immunization in the group given breastfeeding analgesia averaged 4.9. Pain response during infant immunization in the group given the hugging technique averaged 2.0. There was a difference in pain response during infant immunization between those given breastfeeding analgesia and hugging therapy with p-value = 0.007. Conclusion: hugging therapy is more effective than breastfeeding analgesia and on pain response during infant immunization

The sample in this study was parents in the Baturraden sub-district area of Banyumas Regency as many as 30 people, using incidental sampling. This research is research and development, referring to the Instructional Design research and development model with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach. Validation of material experts is carried out by pediatricians, health promotion lecturers and health center midwives. Product implementation is parents of toddlers. Conclusion: educational media for stimulation, detection and early intervention of toddler development with monopoly game media was declared feasible by experts.

Abstract

Participation of pregnant women in antenatal care can support maternal and fetal health. However, low compliance rates indicate a lack of adequate care in the community. This study aimed to assess the effect of an empowerment program for pregnant women on adherence to antenatal care in the Kedungwaru Community Health Center (Puskesmas) area, Kedungwaru District, Tulungagung Regency. The study design was a one-group pre-experimentary study, consisting of a pre-test and a post-test. A total of 40 pregnant women were selected as the sample using purposive sampling. A questionnaire was used to collect information, while the Wilcoxon test was used to analyze the data. Increased adherence to antenatal care and participation in the empowerment program each showed significant results with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The empowerment program for pregnant women increased adherence to antenatal care. This program should be expanded because it promotes better maternal health education and preventive health practices in the community.
