Abstract

The increasing digitalization of educational systems has raised significant concerns about the security, privacy, and integrity of student data. Traditional centralized data management systems are vulnerable to cyberattacks, data manipulation, and breaches, which necessitate more secure and privacy-preserving solutions. This study aims to explore the integration of blockchain and federated learning as a combined approach to secure educational data management. A systematic literature review methodology was employed to examine relevant studies on the application of blockchain and federated learning in education. The review identified key themes such as blockchain’s potential to provide transparency, immutability, and security, while federated learning enables privacy-preserving data analysis without sharing sensitive information. The findings suggest that the integration of these technologies offers a promising solution to the challenges of managing educational data, enhancing both security and privacy. This study contributes to the academic literature by presenting a conceptual framework that combines blockchain and federated learning for secure and efficient educational data management. The implications of this work extend to policy and practice, particularly in ensuring regulatory compliance and data protection in educational institutions, and provide important lessons for future research on the scalability and practical implementation of these technologies in real-world educational settings.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the views of theology students on the use of Mobile Legends in their spiritual growth, identify the impacts of their Mobile Legends playing habits, and analyze whether these habits can hinder spiritual growth. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods. The research subjects were 14 philosophy students at Surya Nusantara Adventist University who have the habit of playing Mobile Legends. The results of this study indicate that Mobile Legends can have a negative impact on the spiritual growth of Philosophy students, such as experiencing a decline in spirituality due to game addiction, neglect of worship time and spiritual priorities, and the emergence of negative emotions while playing. Factors influencing this impact include personality, motivation, and gamingenvironment.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of audit fees, client accounting systems, and time budget pressure on audit quality. Data were collected through a survey involving 59 auditors working at public accounting firms in Jakarta. The findings revealed that client accounting systems and time budget pressure significantly affect audit quality, while audit fees have no significant impact. A robust client accounting system enhances the effectiveness of audit procedures, providing auditors with accurate and reliable financial data. Conversely, time budget pressure can either improve audit quality through efficiency or compromise it by neglecting important steps, depending on the auditor's experience and time management skills. Surprisingly, the study found a positive effect of time budget pressure on audit quality, suggesting the role of enhanced focus and resource allocation under strict deadlines. These results contribute to a deeper understanding of the dynamic interactions between external factors and internal auditor competencies, emphasizing the need for effective training and professional development in the audit field.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai sektor ekonomi, termasuk sektor pekerja berusaha sendiri. Meskipun banyak yang mengakui potensi platform digital dalam meningkatkan pendapatan, dampaknya terhadap pekerja berusaha sendiri di Indonesia, khususnya berdasarkan sektor pekerjaan dan provinsi, belum banyak diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan pendapatan pekerja berusaha sendiri sebelum dan setelah menggunakan platform digital, serta untuk mengeksplorasi perbedaan pendapatan berdasarkan sektor pekerjaan dan provinsi. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan mengandalkan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan platform digital terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pekerja berusaha sendiri mengalami peningkatan pendapatan yang signifikan setelah mengadopsi platform digital, dengan sektor e-commerce dan jasa digital menunjukkan peningkatan terbesar. Faktor provinsi juga berperan dalam memperbesar perbedaan pendapatan, di mana pekerja di provinsi dengan tingkat adopsi teknologi yang lebih tinggi, seperti DKI Jakarta, mengalami peningkatan yang lebih besar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman tentang bagaimana platform digital dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pekerja berusaha sendiri untuk meningkatkan pendapatan mereka, serta memberikan wawasan praktis bagi kebijakan yang mendukung digitalisasi sektor informal di Indonesia.

Abstract

In today’s data-driven business environment, organizations face challenges in effectively utilizing Big Data Analytics (BDA) for Strategic Human Resource Planning (SHRP). While BDA has the potential to enhance HR decision-making, its application in strategic HR functions remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the role of BDA in SHRP and its impact on organizational decision-making, particularly in recruitment, workforce planning, and employee retention. A quantitative research approach was adopted, employing a structured survey administered to 30 HR professionals across various industries. The study finds that BDA adoption positively influences HR decision-making effectiveness, with significant effects on recruitment efficiency and workforce planning, but a weaker impact on employee retention strategies. The study also develops a framework for integrating BDA into SHRP processes, offering a practical guide for HR professionals. By contributing empirical evidence to the theoretical understanding of BDA’s role in SHRP, this research enhances the existing literature on data-driven decision-making in HRM. The findings also provide valuable insights for organizations seeking to leverage BDA for more effective strategic HR practices, promoting a data-informed approach to workforce management.

Abstract

Quantum Mechanics-based digital mathematical technology offers great potential in solving complex mathematical problems, including in the solution of linear programming. Linear programming, which is commonly used in various fields such as economics and computer science, requires efficient methods to find optimal solutions. Digital technology that integrates quantum mechanics (Quantum Mechanics - QM) can offer higher speed and efficiency in solving problems compared to conventional methods. This study explores the application of basic quantum mechanics principles in solving linear programming, with a focus on the utilization of quantum algorithms. The findings show that the use of quantum computing in linear programming can provide results that are significantly faster and more efficient compared to conventional methods

Abstract

In modern education, there is a growing need for innovative instructional methods that increase student engagement and facilitate the understanding of complex subjects such as programming. This study aims to design and evaluate a gamified educational game developed using Python’s Turtle Graphics, intended to enhance learning and motivation among novice programming students. Employing a mixed methods approach, the research combines empirical data collection from a purposive sample of first-year computer science students with descriptive statistical analysis of quantitative questionnaire results and thematic qualitative insights. The findings indicate that the gamified game effectively improves learners' comprehension of basic programming concepts while fostering sustained engagement and motivation. This study contributes novel empirical evidence demonstrating the viability of simple, accessible gamification tools in introductory programming education, offering practical implications for educators seeking to integrate technology-enhanced learning in foundational computer science curricula. The results underscore the role of gamification in supporting cognitive and motivational aspects of learning, advancing both theoretical understanding and classroom practice in educational technology.

Abstract

Aljabar linear merupakan fondasi matematis yang krusial dalam berbagai aspek ilmu komputer modern. Konsep-konsep fundamental seperti vektor, matriks, dan transformasi linear tidak hanya menjadi bagian dari teori abstrak, tetapi telah berevolusi menjadi komponen inti dalam pengembangan teknologi komputasi yang canggih dan adaptif. Dalam pengolahan data, aljabar linear memungkinkan representasi informasi dalam bentuk yang terstruktur dan mudah dimanipulasi, mendukung proses klasifikasi, clustering, dan reduksi dimensi. Di bidang grafika komputer, transformasi linear digunakan untuk memanipulasi objek tiga dimensi secara presisi, memungkinkan visualisasi yang realistis dan interaktif. Dalam pembelajaran mesin, struktur jaringan saraf tiruan dibangun berdasarkan operasi matriks yang kompleks, di mana bobot dan bias direpresentasikan sebagai vektor dan matriks yang terus diperbarui melalui proses optimisasi. Teknik seperti Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). Selain itu, dalam pemodelan sistem dan algoritma kontrol, aljabar linear menyediakan kerangka kerja analitis untuk menyusun dan menyelesaikan sistem persamaan yang menggambarkan dinamika dan kondisi optimal suatu sistem. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan peran aljabar linear dalam perancangan algoritma dan aplikasi teknologi komputasi, dengan fokus pada empat aspek utama: representasi data, optimisasi, visualisasi, dan pembelajaran mesin. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan pembaca dapat memahami bagaimana pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap aljabar linear dapat menjadi kunci dalam membangun solusi komputasi yang efisien, skalabel, dan responsif terhadap tantangan teknologi masa kini. Dengan demikian, aljabar linear tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat bantu matematis, tetapi juga sebagai bahasa universal dalam dunia komputasi modern.

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data has become a major catalyst for innovation in various sectors. This literature review aims to identify the latest development trends in the integration of these two technologies, explore their implications for the industrial and social landscape, and analyze the accompanying ethical and technical challenges. The method used is a systematic narrative review, reviewing scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025. This comprehensive literature review analyzes the latest trends and challenges in the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data. This research confirms that the convergence of these two technologies is a transformative force driving innovation. Key findings demonstrate a technical trend toward efficiency- and privacy-focused architectures, with Edge Computing and Federated Learning becoming crucial for real-time Big Data processing and data regulatory compliance. However, this progress is offset by serious ethical and security challenges. Key issues identified include algorithmic bias exacerbated by Big Data, black-box problems in AI models, and vulnerability to Adversarial Attacks. The review concludes that realizing the full potential of AI and Big Data depends on strong governance and clear ethics. Therefore, future research is recommended to focus on developing practical Explainable AI (XAI) methodologies and cyberdefense mechanisms to ensure responsible and secure technology implementation.
