Abstract

This article aims to analyze the morals and methods of preaching of the Prophet Muhammad saw in preaching based on Surah Ali-‘Imran verse 159. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Primary data is taken from the Qur'an Surah Ali-‘Imran verse 159, while secondary data includes books, articles and scientific works related to the preaching and morals of the Prophet Muhammad saw. The analysis of this study shows that the morals of the Prophet Muhammad saw in preaching are reflected through a gentle attitude, forgiving, asking for forgiveness or praying for the goodness of others, always deliberating, and trusting in Allah Swt. These morals are the foundation for the effectiveness of inclusive and humanistic preaching. Surah Ali-‘Imran verse 159 emphasizes that gentleness and exemplary morals are the keys to the success of the Prophet Muhammad's preaching.

Abstract

Krisis moral dan spiritual yang melanda masyarakat modern menunjukkan adanya degradasi akhlak dan melemahnya kesadaran nilai-nilai ilahiah, sehingga pendidikan perlu diarahkan kembali pada dimensi spiritual yang mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep pendidikan spiritual menurut Imam Al-Ghazali dalam Ihya’ Ulumiddin serta mengkaji kontribusinya terhadap penguatan pendidikan karakter di era modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan menelaah karya Ihya’ Ulumiddin sebagai sumber data primer dan berbagai literatur ilmiah relevan sebagai data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan spiritual menurut Al-Ghazali menekankan keterpaduan antara ilmu, amal, dan akhlak sebagai sarana penyucian jiwa menuju kesempurnaan spiritual. Nilai-nilai utama seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, keikhlasan, dzikir, dan tawakal menjadi dasar pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Dalam konteks pendidikan modern, gagasan Al-Ghazali relevan dalam menghadapi krisis moral melalui integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual ke dalam kurikulum, keteladanan guru, serta sinergi antara keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi kontribusi teoretis bagi pengembangan paradigma pendidikan Islam yang holistik dan berorientasi pada pembentukan manusia berkarakter, beriman, dan berakhlak mulia di tengah arus globalisasi.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji transformasi hukum keluarga Islam dari masa pra-Islam (Jahiliyah) menuju masa Islam serta relevansinya dalam konteks modern. Pada masa Jahiliyah, masyarakat Arab hidup dalam sistem sosial patriarkal yang menindas perempuan. Perempuan tidak memiliki hak hukum, bahkan diperlakukan sebagai barang warisan atau dikubur hidup-hidup. Kehadiran Islam melalui Al-Qur’an dan Hadis membawa revolusi sosial dan hukum dengan menegakkan nilai-nilai keadilan, kesetaraan, dan penghormatan terhadap martabat manusia. Islam mendefinisikan ulang konsep pernikahan sebagai mitsaqan ghalizha (perjanjian kokoh) yang menempatkan laki-laki dan perempuan dalam kedudukan setara di hadapan hukum dan Tuhan. Dalam konteks kontemporer, pembaruan hukum keluarga Islam tetap urgen untuk menjawab tantangan globalisasi, perubahan sosial, serta tuntutan kesetaraan gender. Reformasi hukum ini bukan bentuk penyimpangan dari ajaran agama, melainkan upaya kontekstualisasi nilai-nilai syariat agar tetap hidup dan relevan sepanjang zaman. Melalui pendekatan kepustakaan dan analisis historis-normatif, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembaruan hukum keluarga merupakan sarana menjaga keseimbangan antara ajaran wahyu dan dinamika masyarakat modern. Abstract

This study aims to describe the actual condition of facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) at Putra Udyana Kindergarten, Denpasar, analyze the gap between the actual condition and the standard theory of early childhood education (PAUD) infrastructure management, and formulate strategic managerial solutions to improve its quality. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, Dapodik document review, and interviews with the school. The results of the study indicate that Putra Udyana Kindergarten's infrastructure is quantitatively sufficient, but not yet optimal functionally in supporting center-based learning and Multiple Intelligences theory. There are three main problems: (1) the use of classrooms that are not in accordance with the principles of a stimulative learning environment, (2) the use of outdoor spaces that are not optimal as an exploratory learning area, and (3) infrastructure management that is not yet systemic and oriented towards learning quality. Managerial solutions are formulated in three stages, namely rearranging classrooms (short term), preparing a Master Plan for Infrastructure Development (medium term), and developing an Outdoor Learning Master Plan (long term). This research confirms that PAUD infrastructure management must shift from an administrative paradigm to a pedagogical paradigm based on the stimulating function of child development. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tujuan pendidikan Islam dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan tafsir tematik (maudhu‘i). Kajian difokuskan pada tiga ayat, yaitu QS. al-Dzāriyāt [51]:56, al-Ḥajj [22]:41, dan al-Fatḥ [48]:28–29, yang merepresentasikan tiga dimensi utama pendidikan Islam: spiritual, sosial, dan peradaban. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan (library research), melalui analisis terhadap tafsir klasik dan kontemporer serta pemikiran tokoh pendidikan Islam seperti al-Ghazali, Ibn Khaldun, Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, dan Ahmad Tafsir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam bersifat holistik, menekankan keseimbangan antara iman, ilmu, dan amal. Dimensi spiritual berorientasi pada penghambaan kepada Allah, dimensi sosial menumbuhkan tanggung jawab moral dan sosial melalui amar ma’rūf nahi munkar, sedangkan dimensi peradaban mengarahkan umat untuk membangun masyarakat berilmu dan beradab. Integrasi ketiganya melahirkan insan kāmil—manusia paripurna yang seimbang secara spiritual, sosial, dan intelektual. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya reorientasi pendidikan Islam kontemporer agar kembali pada nilai-nilai Qur’ani yang membangun generasi beriman, berilmu, dan berkeadaban.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of applying the principle of tabayyun based on the values of ushuluddin and the approach of Islamic psychology in responding to the contemporary digital information flow, particularly in the case study of Bill Gates’ vaccine trial in Indonesia. This study aims to examine how the values of tauhid, ‘adl, amanah, and hisbah are effective in overcoming psychological anxiety caused by exposure to misleading information and in countering hoaxes. Furthermore, psychological concepts such as tazkiyatun nafs, qalbun salim, muhasabah, sabar, and syukur play a role in building critical attitudes, mental health, and ethics in receiving and disseminating information. The research method used is qualitative with a library research type, involving the collection and analysis of data from various literature sources such as scientific journals, articles, and official documents from government and related institutions. Descriptive and critical analysis are applied to produce a comprehensive understanding of the synergy between spiritual and psychological values in facing information challenges in the digital era. The results show that the integration of ushuluddin values and Islamic psychology through tabayyun is effective in overcoming psychological anxiety caused by exposure to misleading information and in countering hoaxes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in optimizing religious activities at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sumbawa. The focus of this study is to identify the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers to optimize various forms of religious activities carried out, examine the strategies applied by PAI teachers in optimizing these activities, and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that this study reveals the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education Teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sumbawa which is implemented in three main dimensions, namely, as a director, motivator and mentor in religious activities. Various religious activities that are optimized include congregational Dhuhur prayers, MMQ (Reading and Writing the Qur'an), commemoration of Islamic holidays, and religious extracurricular activities. Supporting factors in optimizing these religious activities include support from the family, school facilities, the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, and the role of PAI teachers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include, lack of self-awareness, lack of student motivation, lack of control from teachers, time allocation problems and limited facilities and infrastructure. This study contributes to the development of strategies to improve the quality of religious activities in Islamic high schools.

Abstract

The Qur’an was revealed gradually over time, yet the arrangement of its verses in the written mushaf is non-chronological and tauqifi, fixed by divine instruction. This structure, known as tartīb al-āyāt, not only organizes the internal discourse of the Qur’an but also embodies epistemic principles that are highly relevant to contemporary educational theory. This article aims to re-examine the concept of tartīb al-āyāt and actualize it within modern pedagogical frameworks such as constructivism, learning sequence, coherence learning, scaffolding, thematic-integrative learning, and holistic education. Employing a qualitative library-research design, the study conducts descriptive-analytical and comparative-conceptual analysis of classical works in Qur’anic sciences alongside contemporary educational literature. The findings affirm that the tauqifi and coherent nature of tartīb al-āyāt can serve as a conceptual model for structuring the sequence of learning materials, strengthening coherence between concepts, designing staged learning in line with learners’ readiness, and integrating cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions. Thus, tartīb al-āyāt is not only central to tafsir studies but also provides a theoretical foundation for developing curriculum and instructional practices that are more meaningful, coherent, and contextually grounded within contemporary Islamic education

Abstract

Technological advances have brought about major changes in the dissemination of Islamic information. Social media has become the main means of disseminating da'wah content, including Islamic studies in the form of videos, photos, and live broadcasts. However, behind this convenience, a serious challenge arises in the form of the dissemination of unvalidated information due to social media algorithms that prioritize user engagement over content veracity. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research approach. Data sources collected included books, journals, and Islamic preaching videos on the social media platform YouTube.This study aims to examine how social media algorithms filter, disseminate, and shape Islamic understanding, and emphasizes the importance of information validation to reduce misinformation. By referring to previous research and offering new perspectives, this study is expected to encourage the formation of a healthier and more responsible digital ecosystem in spreading Islamic narratives

Abstract

This study examines the concept of sincerity according to Imam Al-Ghazali and its relevance to Islamic religious education. Sincerity is understood as the purification of intentions from all goals other than Allah SWT, while riya' is its opposite which damages the value of good deeds and has a negative impact on the purity of the heart and one's psychological health. This study uses a literature study method by examining Al-Ghazali's work in Ihya' 'Ulumuddin as well as supporting research on tazkiyatun-nafs, moral development, and Islamic educational practices. The results of the analysis show that Al-Ghazali divides sincerity into two forms, namely sincerity in good deeds and sincerity in expecting rewards, both of which shape the inner orientation of a believer. The relevance of the concept of sincerity in Islamic religious education is evident in the importance of character formation, sincerity in learning, and teacher role models. Amidst the culture of image and worldly orientation in modern education, the value of sincerity becomes a spiritual foundation that directs students towards intrinsic motivation and moral behavior. This finding confirms that the concept of sincerity according to Al-Ghazali is very important for building Islamic education that is oriented towards purifying the soul, sincerity of worship, and the formation of civilized human beings.
