Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of humanistic learning theory in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as an effort to improve student achievement. Humanistic learning theory emphasizes the holistic development of individuals cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects by prioritizing respect for students' feelings, experiences, and needs. This approach views learners as active subjects in the learning process who can develop optimally when given space, trust, and intrinsic motivation. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings show that the application of humanistic learning theory in PAI creates a more enjoyable, open, and participatory learning environment. Teachers act as facilitators, guiding students to discover meaningful learning that relates to their real-life experiences. This implementation positively impacts students’ learning motivation, understanding of religious material, and academic achievement. Therefore, integrating humanistic theory into PAI instruction is highly relevant for fostering student-centered education and addressing the need for meaningful and holistic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning process in relation to the quality of student learning outcomes at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Lekok. Learning evaluation is a crucial aspect of the educational process, as it helps measure the effectiveness of methods, strategies, and approaches used by teachers in delivering the material. This research employs a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The subjects of the study include PAI teachers, students, and the school principal. The results indicate that the evaluation of PAI learning has been systematically implemented through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessments. However, challenges remain in utilizing evaluation results to improve the learning process. The quality of student learning outcomes is generally good but not evenly distributed across all classes. Factors influencing the quality of learning outcomes include teacher competence, student motivation, and support from the school environment and families. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance teacher capacity in developing comprehensive evaluation instruments and utilizing technology in the evaluation process. Well-planned and continuous evaluations are believed to improve the quality of PAI learning and overall student outcomes.

Abstract

Tahsin learning holds significant urgency in improving the quality of Qur’anic recitation, especially for elementary school students who are at the early stage of character development and religious understanding. Tahsin refers to the process of correcting and perfecting Qur’anic recitation in accordance with the rules of tajwid, makharijul huruf (articulation points), and the etiquette of recitation. This study aims to highlight the importance of tahsin education for elementary students in order to build a strong foundation for accurate and meaningful Qur’anic reading. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. The findings indicate that tahsin learning at the elementary level not only helps students recite the Qur’an fluently and in accordance with tajwid, but also boosts self-confidence, nurtures a love for the Qur’an, and strengthens spiritual values in daily life. Moreover, the presence of competent teachers in tahsin plays a crucial role in the success of this learning process. Therefore, the urgency of tahsin education should not be overlooked in Islamic educational systems at the elementary level, considering its significant impact on the holistic religious development of students.

Abstract

Mindmapping is a visual learning technique that organizes information in a branched and structured thought map. This concept was developed to help students understand, remember, and connect various ideas or learning materials more systematically. This study aims to examine the concept of mindmapping and its relevance to students' learning connectivity the ability to meaningfully link new knowledge with prior understanding. Using a qualitative literature study approach, this research explores various academic sources related to learning theories, visual strategies, and the effectiveness of mindmapping. The findings show that mindmapping stimulates both the right and left brain activities, strengthens memory retention, and enhances the interconnection of concepts in learning. In addition, this technique encourages students to think critically and creatively, fostering a holistic understanding of the material. Therefore, mindmapping is highly relevant as a learning aid that can enhance students' learning connectivity across different educational levels and subjects.

Abstract

Academic stress is a psychological condition experienced by students in response to pressures within the learning environment, such as assignments, exams, academic competition, and expectations from parents and teachers. The concept of academic stress encompasses various aspects, including emotional pressure, cognitive load, and physical tension, all of which can affect students' mental health and learning behavior. This study aims to examine the concept of academic stress and its implications for students’ learning behavior in school settings. Using a qualitative literature study approach, this research reviews educational psychology theories and relevant research findings. The results indicate that academic stress negatively impacts students’ concentration, learning motivation, and productivity. In the long term, unmanaged stress may lead to avoidance behavior, anxiety, and even academic burnout. Therefore, it is essential for educators and parents to understand the sources of academic stress and develop learning strategies that support students’ mental well-being, in order to foster positive and sustainable learning behavior.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the morals and methods of preaching of the Prophet Muhammad saw in preaching based on Surah Ali-‘Imran verse 159. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Primary data is taken from the Qur'an Surah Ali-‘Imran verse 159, while secondary data includes books, articles and scientific works related to the preaching and morals of the Prophet Muhammad saw. The analysis of this study shows that the morals of the Prophet Muhammad saw in preaching are reflected through a gentle attitude, forgiving, asking for forgiveness or praying for the goodness of others, always deliberating, and trusting in Allah Swt. These morals are the foundation for the effectiveness of inclusive and humanistic preaching. Surah Ali-‘Imran verse 159 emphasizes that gentleness and exemplary morals are the keys to the success of the Prophet Muhammad's preaching.

Abstract

Krisis moral dan spiritual yang melanda masyarakat modern menunjukkan adanya degradasi akhlak dan melemahnya kesadaran nilai-nilai ilahiah, sehingga pendidikan perlu diarahkan kembali pada dimensi spiritual yang mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep pendidikan spiritual menurut Imam Al-Ghazali dalam Ihya’ Ulumiddin serta mengkaji kontribusinya terhadap penguatan pendidikan karakter di era modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan menelaah karya Ihya’ Ulumiddin sebagai sumber data primer dan berbagai literatur ilmiah relevan sebagai data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan spiritual menurut Al-Ghazali menekankan keterpaduan antara ilmu, amal, dan akhlak sebagai sarana penyucian jiwa menuju kesempurnaan spiritual. Nilai-nilai utama seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, keikhlasan, dzikir, dan tawakal menjadi dasar pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Dalam konteks pendidikan modern, gagasan Al-Ghazali relevan dalam menghadapi krisis moral melalui integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual ke dalam kurikulum, keteladanan guru, serta sinergi antara keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi kontribusi teoretis bagi pengembangan paradigma pendidikan Islam yang holistik dan berorientasi pada pembentukan manusia berkarakter, beriman, dan berakhlak mulia di tengah arus globalisasi.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji transformasi hukum keluarga Islam dari masa pra-Islam (Jahiliyah) menuju masa Islam serta relevansinya dalam konteks modern. Pada masa Jahiliyah, masyarakat Arab hidup dalam sistem sosial patriarkal yang menindas perempuan. Perempuan tidak memiliki hak hukum, bahkan diperlakukan sebagai barang warisan atau dikubur hidup-hidup. Kehadiran Islam melalui Al-Qur’an dan Hadis membawa revolusi sosial dan hukum dengan menegakkan nilai-nilai keadilan, kesetaraan, dan penghormatan terhadap martabat manusia. Islam mendefinisikan ulang konsep pernikahan sebagai mitsaqan ghalizha (perjanjian kokoh) yang menempatkan laki-laki dan perempuan dalam kedudukan setara di hadapan hukum dan Tuhan. Dalam konteks kontemporer, pembaruan hukum keluarga Islam tetap urgen untuk menjawab tantangan globalisasi, perubahan sosial, serta tuntutan kesetaraan gender. Reformasi hukum ini bukan bentuk penyimpangan dari ajaran agama, melainkan upaya kontekstualisasi nilai-nilai syariat agar tetap hidup dan relevan sepanjang zaman. Melalui pendekatan kepustakaan dan analisis historis-normatif, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembaruan hukum keluarga merupakan sarana menjaga keseimbangan antara ajaran wahyu dan dinamika masyarakat modern. Abstract

This study aims to describe the actual condition of facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) at Putra Udyana Kindergarten, Denpasar, analyze the gap between the actual condition and the standard theory of early childhood education (PAUD) infrastructure management, and formulate strategic managerial solutions to improve its quality. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, Dapodik document review, and interviews with the school. The results of the study indicate that Putra Udyana Kindergarten's infrastructure is quantitatively sufficient, but not yet optimal functionally in supporting center-based learning and Multiple Intelligences theory. There are three main problems: (1) the use of classrooms that are not in accordance with the principles of a stimulative learning environment, (2) the use of outdoor spaces that are not optimal as an exploratory learning area, and (3) infrastructure management that is not yet systemic and oriented towards learning quality. Managerial solutions are formulated in three stages, namely rearranging classrooms (short term), preparing a Master Plan for Infrastructure Development (medium term), and developing an Outdoor Learning Master Plan (long term). This research confirms that PAUD infrastructure management must shift from an administrative paradigm to a pedagogical paradigm based on the stimulating function of child development. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tujuan pendidikan Islam dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan tafsir tematik (maudhu‘i). Kajian difokuskan pada tiga ayat, yaitu QS. al-Dzāriyāt [51]:56, al-Ḥajj [22]:41, dan al-Fatḥ [48]:28–29, yang merepresentasikan tiga dimensi utama pendidikan Islam: spiritual, sosial, dan peradaban. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan (library research), melalui analisis terhadap tafsir klasik dan kontemporer serta pemikiran tokoh pendidikan Islam seperti al-Ghazali, Ibn Khaldun, Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, dan Ahmad Tafsir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam bersifat holistik, menekankan keseimbangan antara iman, ilmu, dan amal. Dimensi spiritual berorientasi pada penghambaan kepada Allah, dimensi sosial menumbuhkan tanggung jawab moral dan sosial melalui amar ma’rūf nahi munkar, sedangkan dimensi peradaban mengarahkan umat untuk membangun masyarakat berilmu dan beradab. Integrasi ketiganya melahirkan insan kāmil—manusia paripurna yang seimbang secara spiritual, sosial, dan intelektual. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya reorientasi pendidikan Islam kontemporer agar kembali pada nilai-nilai Qur’ani yang membangun generasi beriman, berilmu, dan berkeadaban.
