Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of working capital on the income of the Small Weaving Industry in Kupang City. Research Methodology: This study used a survey with a quantitative descriptive approach. This research was conducted in the Small Weaving Industry in Kupang City with a total population of 49 weavers. The sample was taken using saturated samples. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, documentation and observation. The data analysis technique used is to use financial theory related to working capital and income. Results: The results showed that working capital has an effect on the income of small industrial weavers in Kupang City, because the greater the amount of working capital spent, the greater the income earned. Therefore, it is recommended that weavers keep working capital conditions so that the production process can be increased by itself the income will increase.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the existence of online grab transportation in Kupang City has a positive impact on tourism development, in this study using interview techniques. Research Methodology: The interview used was an unstructured interview, namely an independent interview in which the researcher did not use an interview guide that had been systematically structured. The sample in this study amounted to 15 respondents. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study is an interactive technique. Interactive technique is a data analysis technique that is carried out while in the field and after being in the field which is processed through four stages. Results: The results of this study indicate that the presence of online transportation (Grab) in Kupang City can actually be used as a means of promotion and transportation that is comfortable and safe, as well as practical and efficient. Comfortable and safe from the condition of the vehicle and the driver, as well as practical and efficient from the operation of the application and the ease of finding the driver so that it can save time by visiting all tourist objects in Kupang City.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the factors that influence the financial management of the Paulus Taekiu church. Research methodology: To apply this purpose, the type of data used in this study is qualitative data, while the data sources in this study are primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis. Results: The research conducted can be found that in the financial management of the Paulus Taekiu church, there is planning, direction, organization, and financial supervision but the financial management performance is inconsistent because of the factors that affect the financial management of the Paulus Taekiu church, namely the lack of understanding of human resources, the provision of inadequate support facilities, and changes to the GMIT treasury management system.

Abstract

Purpose: This research analyzes the influence of workload, training and teamwork on the performance of employees of the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Management Department of Riau Islands Province with organizational commitment as an intervening variable. Research Methodology: In 2020, there were 6 packages or 6.59% of the 91 work packages at the Riau Islands Province PUPP Service that experienced payment delays. Meanwhile, in 2021 there was an increase, namely 68 packages or 31.19% of the 218 packages experienced payment delays. Meanwhile, in 2022 there will be 10 packages or 3.14% of the 318 packages experiencing payment delays. Using primary data from 115 employees of the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Services of Riau Islands Province. Results: this research found that teamwork has no direct significant effect on performance. In contrast, workload and training were shown to have a significant influence on performance, highlighting the importance of work themes for improving employee performance. Organizational commitment is also proven to be a significant mediator between workload, training and teamwork on performance. Recommendation: The proposed recommendation is to focus on improving employee teamwork and other aspects that have a more direct influence on organizational commitment to improving the performance of employees of the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Management Department of Riau Islands Province

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the role of School Operational Assistance (BOS) fund management in enhancing the quality of educational programs and student achievement at public junior high schools in the Mimika Baru District, Mimika Regency. Research/methodology: The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Mimika and SMP Negeri 11 Mimika. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with school principals, treasurers, teachers, and school committee members, as well as through direct observation and document analysis. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Results: The findings indicate that BOS fund management in both schools generally aligns with technical guidelines. The funds are effectively utilized to support infrastructure development, procure learning materials, finance extracurricular activities, and improve teacher competencies. As a result, the program contributes positively to both the quality of education and student academic performance. Conclusions: Effective management of BOS funds at SMP Negeri 2 and SMP Negeri 11 Mimika significantly contributes to improving educational quality and student achievement. The funds are utilized in accordance with technical guidelines to support infrastructure, learning materials, extracurricular activities, and teacher development. Stakeholder involvement also enhances transparency and accountability in fund utilization. Limitations: This study is limited to two schools and adopts a purely qualitative perspective, which may not represent broader regional conditions or allow for quantitative measurement of impact. Contribution: This research offers valuable insights for policymakers and school administrators regarding the effective utilization of BOS funds to improve education quality and student outcomes, particularly in remote and diverse educational settings.
