Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the Influence of Leadership, Integrity and Performance on Compliance in Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in the Regional Government of Karimun Regency with Organizational Commitment as an Intervening Variable. Research Methodology: This study used primary data from 105 employees. Results: Based on monitoring the results of internal and external supervision carried out from 2011 to 2023, it is known that only 142 findings were followed up by the OPD out of a total of 513 financial and administrative findings. These results show the weak leadership, integrity, and performance of the organization in terms of compliance. This study found that leadership has no direct influence on compliance or organizational commitment, while integrity and performance have a significant effect on both organizational commitment and compliance. The indirect influence mediated by organizational commitment shows that only the variables of integrity and performance have a significant influence on compliance, while leadership does not show a significant influence on compliance mediated by organizational commitment. Recommendation: Recommendations are proposed to improve organizational compliance through effective leadership, strong employee integrity, and higher performance.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the influence of capital, investment, and liquidity structures on the financial performance of automotive companies and their components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022. Research methodology: Multiple regression analysis was used and data were obtained from the company's annual financial statements from 2018 to 2022. The findings of this study are expected to provide important insights for financial managers and stakeholders in managing company finances, and serve as a reference for investors and creditors in evaluating the financial performance of a company. Results: The results show that capital structure has a significantly positive effect on financial performance, while investment and liquidity do not significantly affect financial performance. Limitation: The study's limitation is that it focuses solely on automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the specified timeframe. Contribution: The study's contribution is that it provides empirical evidence regarding the impact of capital structure, investment growth, and liquidity on financial performance in the Indonesian automotive industry, which can inform future research and practical applications in this context. Implementation: Capital structure refers to the combination of debt and equity used to finance a company's operations, whereas investment refers to the use of funds or fixed assets to increase the value of the company's products. Liquidity refers to the ability of a company to meet its financial obligations in a timely manner. Multiple linear regression analysis was used in this study, and a sample of 15 companies was selected using purposive sampling.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Core Problem Solving (CPS) with the Kepner Tregoe approach, which is able to improve %SRR performance from 0.73% in 2022 to 0.5% in the next five years and take the right solutions to be planned in 2023. Methods: A study on this case at UTAS Bandung with a focus on the %SRR performance that is driven by the amount of scrap, rework, and repair parts, called the cost of poor quality (CoPQ) divided by the total amount of parts sold to the customer. Core Problem Solving (CPS) combined with the Kepner Treg method can strengthen the quality performance. Starting with problem identification, followed by problem analysis using a Pareto diagram, an ishikawa diagram (fishbone diagram), and five why analysis to obtain the correct root cause and come out with alternative solutions to prevent future faults. Results/findings: Based on problem analysis, it was found that the highest CoPQ contributor comes from prismatic cells, around 61% or $154,000 of total CoPQ $254,300 in 2022. To reach a 0.5% target in 2027 need to improve around $81,115 within 5 years or similar with $16,223 per year. Core problem solving (CPS) combined with the Kepner Treg method will be applied to achieve quality performance as planned. Limitations: This research only refers to data available in SAP based on performance in 2022 without counting the return part from reject customer and reject part caused by supplier. Contribution: Implementing core problem solving (CPS) combined with the Kepner Treg approach showing the right direction and good impact on quality performance at UTAS Bandung. It is important to develop an army of core problem-solving by encouraging more people to learn about it. This can also be used as a benchmark for other sites in global groups.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to describe the level of need, determine the design form, and analyze the level of validation, practicality, and effectiveness of developing IES-based parenting modules in strengthening the character of students in boarding schools. Methodology: Research using Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model approach (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) with data and information collection techniques carried out through documentation studies, literature studies, filling out questionnaires, interviews, and digging primary sources of information relating to the upbringing of students in dormitories, which can be accounted for. Results: The results of this research were qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that (1) the development of this IES-based parenting module is based on the needs of boarding teachers and students; and (2) the module design follows the structure of the learning model, which consists of a cover page, an introduction containing rationale, aims, benefits, targets, foundations, principles of care, models of care, main duties of boarding teachers, stages of care, daily life of students, and operational standards for boarding teachers. (3) The module developed is proven to be valid based on the validator's assessment, receiving an average score of 4.55, which means Very Good. (4) the assessment of the practicality of the module obtained an average of 4.33 on the effective usefulness of the module in helping the implementation of care, and 4.24 on the ease of the module to understand and carry out, and at 4.29 on the evaluation of questions that are appropriate to the care material being taught. (5) In the effective assessment, it can be concluded that care using the IES-based care module is effective, based on a student completion of 87.09%. This research adds to the scientific knowledge and helps in the form of parenting modules for schools, boarding teachers, and students.
