Abstract

One of the early childhood social-emotional problems that often occur in school is shyness. Shyness tends to cause children to become less skilled, less confident, less able to interact socially and unable to adjust to their environment. So it takes the role of teachers in overcoming the shy nature of children at school. The purpose of writing the article is to illustrate the role of teachers in dealing with children's shyness through jumping rope games. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study research (case study) and is descriptive. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study showed that one shy child in group B saw an increase in his social-emotional development, the presence of painstaking teachers to overcome shy children through jumping rope games fostered self-confidence in children.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) Children's activities using block games in Group A of RA Nurul Huda II Tasikmalaya; (2) Children's creativity in group A RA Nurul Huda II Tasikmalaya; (3) The relationship between children's activities in block games to children's creativity in group A RA Nurul Huda II Tasikmalaya. The approach in this study uses a quantitative method of correlation. The data collection instrument uses a scale with four answer choices. The subject of this study is Early Childhood children in group A RA Nurul Huda II Tasikmalaya as many as 20 people. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis tools used are simple linear regression analysis, correlation test, determination coefficient analysis and non-determination test as well as hypothesis test. From the results of the study, it is known that for the regression test, the equation Ŷ = 3.87 + 0.95 X This means that Children's Activities in Block Games carried out by RA Nurul Huda II Tasikmalaya students have a positive effect on Early Childhood Creativity by 0.95 times. The correlation coefficient (r) of 0.80 which can be interpreted as the influence of Children's Activities in Block Play on Early Childhood Creativity is very strong. The determination test obtained a value of 64% which illustrates the large percentage of the influence of Children's Activities in Block Play on Early Childhood Creativity. The non-determination test, which is 36%, is the percentage of influence of other factors on Early Childhood Creativity of RA Nurul Huda II Tasikmalaya. The hypothesis test is known to have a ttable value of α = 0.25 and dk = 18, which is 0.688 while the tcount value is 5.65. This shows that the tcal>ttable (5.65 > 0.688). So that Ho is rejected or Ha is accepted, it means that Children's Activities in Block Games have a significant effect on Early Childhood Creativity of RA Nurul Huda II Tasikmalaya Cisayong

Abstract

The development of discipline character begins from an early age, especially when children begin to enter preschool education. For early childhood, discipline is one of the most important aspects in the formation of their character and personality. At this time, discipline in children is decreasing, including in Kindergarten Dharma Wanita 68 Kaliploso Banyuwnagi. Therefore, alternative solutions are needed to improve children's discipline. In this study, the practice of marching is used as a means to improve children's discipline at Kindergarten Dharma Wanita 68 Kaliploso Banyuwnagi. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of marching activities on the discipline of children in group B at Dharma Wanita 68 Kaliploso Banyuwnagi Kindergarten. This type of research is quantitative using a pre-experimental design one-group pretest-posttest. The subjects used in this study were 15 children. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and tests. The data analysis techniques used are normality test and T-test. The results obtained from this study are a significance value showing a result of 0.000 where the value is less than 0.05. Therefore, it can be decided that there is a significant difference between pretest and posttest. It can be concluded that there is an influence between the marching rules and children's discipline.

Abstract

The development of interpersonal intelligence is a process of learning in children about cooperation, empathy and establishing contact with friends. So the process of children's growth and development must always be considered so that it runs optimally, at Khadijah 77 Kembiritan Kindergarten has implemented role-playing activities in developing children's interpersonal intelligence at the age of 5-6 years. This study aims to describe the implementation of role-playing activities in developing interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Khadijah 77 Kindergarten, and describe the development of interpersonal intelligence of 5-6 year old children at Khadijah 77 Kembiritan Kindergarten. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of field research, the subjects of this research are the Principal, Class Teachers and 15 students aged 5-6 years at Khadijah 77 Kindergarten. The data collection process uses several methods, namely Observation, Interviews and Documentation. Based on the results of this study, the Based on the results of this study, it shows that the implementation of role-playing activities is carried out in 3 stages, namely: the first is planning which includes determining themes, learning tools, and learning media. Then the second implementation: Managing the position of the children (dividing the group), explaining and exemplifying how to play the role and the third evaluation, in Khadijah Kindergarten the evaluation is carried out twice in each semester one and two. This study shows the results that the development of interpersonal intelligence in children aged 5-6 years through role-playing activities runs optimally, this can be seen from the achievement indicators sourced from the Child Development Achievement Level Standards (STPPA): 1) Children are able to cooperate, 2) children are able to empathize with others, 3) children are able to make friends or make contacts, 4) the child is able to organize a group of people towards a common goal, 5) the child is able to understand the feelings of others

Abstract

The rampant use of MSG in over-consumed foods can damage cells in children's brains. MSG can cause decreased brain function and can affect cognitive development, and nutritional balance. The purpose of the data analysis was conducted to determine the impact of MSG use on children's cognitive development. The analysis method involves a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using a bibliometric analysis approach of literature studies with the Publish or Perish application and Google Scholar as a data source with a duration of 2010-2023. After processing the article data by selecting a special topic on “the effect of MSG use on children's cognitive development”, 200 relevant articles were obtained for review from 200 articles from the initial search results. The results of the study were then compiled meta data VOSViewer application was used to create a visualization of research trends. The results showed that the classification of analysis on the effect of MSG use on children's cognitive development into 3 clusters. (red, blue, green). All data from these clusters show that the effect of MSG on children's cognitive development is still a problem that needs attention. Therefore, parents should be more careful in providing nutritional intake to their children.
