Abstract

Cognitive ability is the ability to learn or think or intelligence, namely the ability to learn new skills and concepts, the skills to understand what is happening in the environment and the memory ability to solve simple problems. Outdoor learning in the garden area is learning where the teaching and learning process is carried out outside the room or classroom area. In the garden area, such as planting seeds and grains which will become flowers, vegetables can even produce food, for example rice. This study aims to determine the cognitive development of early childhood through outdoor learning in the garden area at Kindergarten Budhi Mulyo Sarimulyo, Cluring-Banyuwangi. This type of research is using a qualitative descriptive research method. The subjects of this research were students of class B TK Budhi Mulyo. The results showed that the development of early childhood cognitive abilities through outdoor learning in the garden area at Kindergarten Budhi Mulyo Sarimulyo can optimize early childhood cognitive abilities at Kindergarten Budhi Mulyo, this is due to outdoor learning in garden areas such as: planting, watering plants which are routinely carried out every day both at school and at home, makes children indirectly hone their cognitive abilities almost every day and even every time, therefore the stimulation of cognitive abilities that students get at Kindergarten Budhi Mulyo is much more, so as to get maximum results.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the importance of maintaining character education, especially for early childhood to cultivate a sense of reading through the media of picture storybooks. This article uses the Literature study method by examining library data such as books, magazines, documents, historical stories, or related research objects. The formation of characters like to read children is very important because to prepare children to face the elementary school level. Early childhood growth and development is very rapid. Then the ability to read in children needs to be considered. By reading children will gain new information, knowledge and experiences. Remembering the childhood is a true adventure and learning that is full of honesty in realizing his thoughts and expressing his feelings. All parents certainly want to make their children happy, seeing them grow up healthy, intelligent, and successful in their lives actively in moving so that children are healthy both physically and spiritually.

Abstract

Student learning assistance by utilizing secondhand goods aims to increase students' interest and creativity. This community service activity is carried out in several stages including: the preparation stage consisting of observation, interview to parents, delivery of strategies, and material bribery; the implementation stage consisting of socialization of the implementation of activities begins with the approach and mentoring of students; evaluation stage of the assessment of activities that have been carried out. The results of the activities that have been achieved are student learning assistance in preventing the transmission of corona virus, utilizing secondhand goods as a place to wash hands, utilization of used goods as handicrafts, and mentoring students in utilizing secondhand goods as a learning medium.

Abstract

This activity aimed to provide knowledge and understanding especially in our society in general about the dangers early marriages. A method of devotion is socialization through training Types of data collected is data primary and secondary. From the observation, early show that one of the factors that promote a early marriages among them fraternization so that the occurrence of pregnant out of wedlock. From early marriages does induce the impact of that is less prepared mentally, easy when the divorce, violence in the household, and also of economic factors.

Abstract

Altruism is behavior and voluntary help that departs from a sincere heart, which is positive, and without and beneficial to others. Entering Era 4.0 makes some people behave selfishly, selfishly and don't care about others. This is a challenge for parents and teachers as educators, to build altruime attitudes in children from an early age, one of which is through the school environment.

Abstract

Thematic learning can be strengthened by research based learning such as inquiry, so that collaboration can contribute to one another in building active and student-centered learning, and can have a positive influence on students' social attitudes. Based on the description, a study was conducted with the aim of: (1) knowing the implementation of thematic learning with the guided inquiry model; and (2) knowing students' social attitudes on thematic learning with the guided inquiry model. This study uses a qualitative approach, with field research designs. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and field notes. The results showed that: (1) teachers and students could carry out the thematic learning stages with guided inquiry models in learning 1 to 6 very effectively; and (2) students' attitudes towards thematic learning with guided inquiry models experience positive development. In learning 1, students' social attitudes are still dominant. While in learning 2, social attitude began to develop. Continued in learning 3 and 4, most of the social students begin to develop and culture, and in learning 5 and 6 the majority of students have a social attitude.

Abstract

This devotional activity is motivated by the number of parents who cannotaccompany their children to learn from home during the pandemic for various reasonsand occupations. Another obstacle is that students are unable to understand the subject matter independently, the support facilities are lacking, some students and parentscannot operate gadgets, there are even students who do not have gadgets that hinder infollowing online learning. Therefore, this student learning mentoring is done with the aim to increase the activeness, creativity, and confidence of students in learning. The method of implementation of mentoring is carried out in several stages, namely preparation, implementation of mentoring, and evaluation. With this innovation of multimodal learning, it is proven to be very helpful for students who were previously quiet, shy, and lacking confidence. After participating in this mentoring process, the participants become more active, creative, and have high confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of multicultural educational values consisting of democratic, humanist and pluralist values in the 2013 curriculum in Islamic religious education subjects at Bustanul Makmur Genteng Banyuwangi Junior High School. It is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques include: observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis includes: data collection, Condensation Data, display data, and drawing conclusions or verification. The validity of the data is tested by source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of this study show that: (1) The implementation of Democratic values in the 2013 curriculum in Islamic religious education subjects for Students of Bustanul Makmur Junior High School is carried out through the first student organization, namely by the election of the Chairman of the Student Council, and the election of the class leader, the second is the preparation of school rules by deliberation, the third is the learning process of Islamic religious education, the fourth is to provide freedom of expression and expression of opinions. (2) The implementation of Humanist values in the 2013 curriculum in islamic religious education subjects of Bustanul Makmur Junior High School students is carried out through firstly Teaching social care through Friday Charity, secondly with a service program through home stay activities, thirdly holding Clean Saturday activities, fourth holding social service activities including: compensation for orphans, helping underprivileged residents, and residents affected by disasters, fifth through the learning process of Islamic religious education, namely teachers providing understanding to students. (3) The implementation of Pluralist values in the 2013 curriculum in islamic religious education subjects for students of Bustanul Makmur Genteng Banyuwangi Junior High School is carried out through the first way by involving all students in all student and religious activities without discriminating between students, the two teachers become tauladan / examples for students, thirdly through the learning process of Islamic religious education.
