Abstract

The implementation of the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) represents a strategic initiative to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accountability in personnel administration, particularly within government institutions such as the Women’s Correctional Facility Class III Mamuju. SIMPEG plays a crucial role in supporting integrated personnel data management, including employee records, career history, position tracking, and performance evaluation. This article aims to provide an in-depth analysis of SIMPEG implementation by examining its functions, benefits, challenges, and overall effectiveness in supporting personnel management. This study also investigates various factors that influence the success of SIMPEG implementation, encompassing both facilitating and inhibiting elements. The findings indicate that SIMPEG has contributed positively to accelerating administrative processes, improving data accuracy, and enhancing transparency in personnel-related decision-making. However, the system has not yet reached its optimal potential due to several constraints, including limited human resource competencies, inadequate network infrastructure, and inconsistencies in regular data updates. Therefore, continuous improvement efforts are necessary, particularly in the form of user capacity development through targeted training programs, strengthening information technology infrastructure, and conducting regular system monitoring and evaluation. With these measures in place, SIMPEG is expected to deliver more substantial benefits and support the establishment of a professional, efficient, and accountable personnel management system within government organizations.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged higher education institutions to undertake transformations in the management of academic administrative services. One form of this transformation is the implementation of an Academic Information System (SIAKAD), which aims to simplify administrative processes and improve the quality of services provided to students. This study aims to examine the extent to which the implementation of an Academic Information System influences the quality of campus administrative services. This research employs a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to students as users of academic services. The collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis techniques to examine the effect of the implementation of the Academic Information System on the quality of administrative services. The results indicate that the implementation of the Academic Information System has a significant influence on the quality of campus administrative services. Improvements in service quality are reflected in the ease of system use, clarity of academic information, and efficiency of service time. The study concludes that a well-managed Academic Information System can serve as a key supporting factor in enhancing the quality of administrative services in higher education institutions.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages business actors to adopt digital systems to improve business performance. The use of Point of Sale (POS) systems and e-commerce is one form of Management Information System implementation widely applied in café businesses. This study aims to analyze the effect of POS systems and e-commerce usage on the income of café businesses in Mamuju Regency. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to café owners and managers who have implemented POS systems and e-commerce. The research variables include the use of POS systems, the use of e-commerce, and business income. The results indicate that the use of POS systems and e-commerce has a positive effect on café business income. POS systems improve transaction recording efficiency and sales management, while e-commerce expands market reach and increases the number of customers. Therefore, the utilization of technology-based information systems can support the increase of café business income in Mamuju Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Management Information System (MIS) in improving operational efficiency at Pertamina gas stations in Lalawang Hamlet, Tadui Village, Mamuju District. Problems that ofthen arise at traditional gas stations include manual recording of transactions, inaccurate fuel stock control, and delays in operational reporting to management. Thorough field observations, interviews with gas station operators, and documentation reviews. The results show that the use of MIS can speed up the transaction recording process by 40%, increase fuel stock accuracy, and reduce daily recording errors. MIS also helps management in monitoring sales performance in real time. This study concludes that the implementation of MIS plays a significant role in improving the operational efficiency of pertamina gas stations in Lalawang Hamlet.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the healthcare sector has encouraged healtcare facilities to adopt health information systems (HIS) to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and the quality of medical services. Puskesmas Bambu, as a primary healthcare facility, has implemented HIS in various service aspects, including patient registration, electronic medical record management, queuing systems, and management reporting. However, it is important to evaluate the extent to which this system meets information needs and provides a positive impact on patient satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the effect of health informatioan system utilization on the level of medical service satisfaction using a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through observations, of service processes, documentation review, and the distribution of questionnaires to patients and healthcare personnel involved in the use of the HIS. The results indicate that the implementation of the HIS significantly acclererates administrative  processes,improves the accuracy of information, and simplifies service workflows. Patients reported improvements  in service spead, clarity of medical information, queue convenience, and the professionalism of healthcare staff. Correlation analysis also revealed a positive of HIS utilization and the level of medical service satisfaction. These findings confirm that optimizing the utilization of health information systems can serve as a key strategy for improving healthcare service quality and patient satisfaction at Puskkesmas Bambu. Furthermore, this study is expected to serva as a reference for policymakers in developing more efficient and sustainable healthcare information technology  systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Qiospay information system in enhancing sales predictability at H3 Counter located in Buadao Hamlet, Bambu Village. Qiospay is a PPOP-based digital service application that provides real-time transactions for mobile credit top-ups, data packages, electricity tokens, and various other payment services. In the context of micro-enterprises, the ability of an information system to generate sales predictions, transaction histories, and accurate recording data is a crucial factor in supporting business planning and decision-making processes. This research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results indicate that the use of Qiospay assists the counter owner in predicting digital stock requirements, identifying customer transaction patterns, and improving the accuracy of business planning. Therefore, the implementation of Qiospay makes a significant contribution to improving sales predictability at H3 Counter.

Abstract

Village administrative services play an important role in improving the quality of life for the community. The implementation of the Village Administration Information System (SIPAD) is expected to accelerate administrative processes, improve data accuracy, and provide easier access to services for residents. This study aims to analyze the effect of SIPAD implementation on community satisfaction in Tabulahan Village. A quantitative survey method was employed, with data collected from 120 respondents using questionnaires and analyzed through simple linear regression. The results indicate that the implementation of SIPAD has a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.68, showing that 68% of the variation in community satisfaction can be explained by SIPAD implementation. The discussion emphasizes that SIPAD facilitates village officials in managing administration, speeds up service delivery, and enhances transparency, leading to higher satisfaction among residents. In conclusion, SIPAD plays a crucial role in increasing community satisfaction, and village authorities need to continue optimizing the system to maintain efficient, fast, and responsive public services.

Abstract

Information technology development encourages industrial organizations to adopt Management Information Systems (MIS) to improve employee performance effectiveness. One form of operational MIS application in the electricity generation sector is the use of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing a SCADA-based Management Information System on employee effectiveness at PT PLTU Belang-Belang. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method through distributing questionnaires to employees directly involved in SCADA operations. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis with presentation in the form of tables and average values. The results showed that the implementation of SCADA-based MIS was in the good category with an average value of 4.15, while employee effectiveness was in the good category with an average value of 4.14. These findings indicate that the implementation of SCADA-based MIS makes a positive contribution to increasing employee work effectiveness. This research is expected to be a managerial consideration in optimizing technology-based information systems in the power generation industry environment.

Abstract

The development of information technology offers significant opportunities to improve the effectiveness of waste management at the regional level. The Waste Management Information System (SIPESMA) has emerged as a digital innovation developed by local governments to monitor, coordinate, and optimize waste management services. This study aims to analyze the impact of SIPESMA implementation on the effectiveness of waste management in Mamuju Regency. The research method employs a qualitative descriptive approach through literature analysis, review of regional policies, and phenomenological observation. The results indicate that SIPESMA enhances reporting speed, accuracy of waste generation data, responsiveness of field officers, and community participation. However, technical constraints, limited human resources, and low levels of digital literacy among the community hinder system optimization. The study concludes that SIPESMA has a positive and significant impact on the effectiveness of waste management services, although improvements in capacity building and stronger infrastructure support are required.

Abstract

In the current digital era, village governments in Indonesia are faced with challenges to improve transparency and accountability in managing resources and delivering public services. Village Management Information Systems (Village MIS) have emerged as important instruments to support these objectives. This study aims to analyze the role of Village MIS in strengthening transparency and accountability in village governance, with a focus on how these systems facilitate data management, communication, and better decision-making processes. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collects data through a literature review of various relevant sources, including academic journals, books, and government regulations. The results indicate that Village MIS plays a significant role in enhancing transparency by providing information that is easily accessible to the public, as well as strengthening accountability by enabling accurate reporting and monitoring of village government activities. However, the implementation of Village MIS still faces several challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure, insufficient human resource skills, and resistance from village officials. This study recommends strengthening the capacity of village apparatus through training programs and investments in information technology to optimize the role of Village MIS. Overall, Village MIS functions not only as a technical tool but also as a means to build public trust in village governance, thereby supporting the achievement of good governance at the village level.
