Abstract

In the current digital era, concerns about data privacy are increasing due to the ease of data creation, storage, access, and dissemination. To protect sensitive data, such as financial information and identities, effective methods are needed to safeguard privacy from unauthorized access. One such method is homomorphic encryption, which allows computations to be performed on encrypted data without the need for decryption. This research implements the Paillier Cryptosystem in financial data security, specifically for customer savings accounts. The encryption and computation processes on savings data are performed using homomorphic encryption, ensuring data confidentiality and customer privacy. The testing results demonstrate that the system can perform homomorphic computations effectively, producing results consistent with plaintext calculations. In conclusion, the use of homomorphic encryption in financial data security can enhance privacy, security, and data reliability while providing more control to data owners.

Abstract

Skincare product is any type of formulation intended to be topically applied with the intention of improving skin appearance, texture, or health. The burgeoning skincare product market in Indonesia, particulary in E-Commerce, underscores a shift towards online purchasing habits. With platforms like Shopee, Tokopedia, and Lazada dominating, user reviews play a pivotal role when making decision. However the sheer volume of reviews necessitates efficient processing methods. Aspect Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) emerges as a solution, delving deeper into sentiment analysis by identifying specific aspects within user feedback. Previous studies have shown Convolutional Neural Network based algorithms to have high performance in similar contexts. In this study, the author used CNN mixed with Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) alongside Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) and Bag of Words (BoW) as feature selection techniques to classify aspects into 5 classes and sentiment into 2 classes. The result of aspect classification produced accuracy, precission, recall, and F1-Score of 87.3%, 87%, 87%, and 85.9%. Meanwhile sentiment classification produced accuracy, precission, recall, and F1-Score of 87%, 87%, 87%, and 87%

Abstract

The success of an application is measured by conducting evaluations to ensure their product is easy to use, understand, and provides a positive experience for users. The Instix application is designed to help business owners centrally manage their products across multiple platforms. This research aims to evaluate the UI design of the Instix application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. This research involved 20 participants who were asked to complete certain tasks in the Instix application. Participants then fill out a questionnaire to assess several aspects. The research results show that the evaluation score using the Instix application's Usability Scale (SUS) System method is 87 with the best imaginable category, which shows that this application meets UI and UX quality standards, which can provide an optimal experience in using the application.

Abstract

Beta-thalassemia, a type of thalassemia disease caused by genetic variations, forces sufferers to receive regular blood transfusions for survival. Therefore, classification of this disease is important to reduce the number of births of beta-thalassemia patients in the future. 5066 beta-thalassemia carrier patient data from the Punjab Thalassemia Prevention and Program (PTPP) case study was taken as the source in this study which was accessed through the github.com website. Preprocessing is done for class alignment to avoid data imbalance, feature selection to streamline model performance, and normalization of feature values to a certain scale. In this research, the main focus is on applying the performance of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm to obtain classification results. Before entering the final model, hyperparameter tuning is required to obtain suitable parameter values to be entered into the model. hyperparameter tuning that will be carried out include "C" (regularization parameter), "kernel" (kernel type), "gamma" (kernel parameter for non-linear kernels), and "degree" (polynomial degree for polynomial kernels), carried out before the model is evaluated. The accuracy results were evaluated using confusion matrix, resulting in precision of 99.81%, recall of 99.62%, f1-score of 99.71%, and accuracy of 99.71% after hyperparameter tuning where the best parameters are "'C': 1, 'gamma': 100, 'kernel': 'rbf'" with an average test score of 0.993494149

Abstract

Classifying news articles based on categories is an important challenge in text analysis and natural language processing. Most categorization of online news articles is often done manually, making it a complex and time-consuming process. To address this issue, the development of an automatic system capable of classifying news articles into various categories such as technology, sports, and entertainment is needed. The system is built using an approach to classify news articles into several appropriate categories using the Naïve Bayes method with TF-IDF weighting and feature selection using Chi-Squared. The Naïve Bayes model training uses the reduced feature results of 10,000 features from 54,091 features. Evaluation results show that the Naïve Bayes approach is able to produce a news classification model with good accuracy, with accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score values of 96%.

Abstract

Kele-Kele Honey from Bongkasa Pertiwi Village is a superior product with large market potential but is still little known by the wider community. This research aims to develop a website as an effective promotional tool to increase awareness and sales of Kele-Kele honey. By implementing a Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, website development is carried out quickly and iteratively, enabling active involvement of business owners in the development process and feature adjustments based on user feedback. The research results show that the website developed has succeeded in increasing public awareness about Kele-Kele honey and supporting the growth of local businesses. The practical implication of this research suggests that employing Rapid Application Development (RAD) in web development could be an effective strategy to enhance the sales and visibility of local products such as Kele-Kele honey. To further promote the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, future studies could focus on developing new features and conducting a more comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of online promotions.

Abstract

In this research, the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm is used to encrypt text files. Data stored in various formats has the potential to cause the size of the data on the data storage device to become large and does not necessarily guarantee the security of the data. One method of data security is to encrypt data. This research utilizes data in text file format with data types in the form of ".txt" and ".docx" which refer to the file size for testing. Based on the test results, it shows that the AES encryption method provides good results for text file formats. The time required for the encryption process using the AES algorithm is influenced by each different file size, the larger the file size used, the longer the computing time required and vice versa.

Abstract

Living apothecary is a plant that is used to provide natural treatment or medicine. Therefore, to distinguish these plants, we carry out detection to distinguish live pharmaceutical plants. In this research we used (You Only Look Once) YOLOv8, Google Colab, Roboflow. Where we get the database from Google then we process the image using Roboflow then we create (You Only Look Once) YOLOv8, and we test it on Google Colab. The results of this research confirm that the YOLOv8 (You Only Look Once) algorithm in identifying and modeling 13 plant objects with a total of 1204 images obtained a precision percentage value of 59%, recall of 58%, and a MAP value of 60%, so the average value the accuracy is above 59%. In addition, it provides important contributions in the field of image recognition and visual data processing obtained through the application of the YOLOv8 algorithm to the problem of identifying objects in images.

Abstract

As a response to increasing safety and efficiency problems, utilizing the Package Tracer simulation, this research aims to create a smart garage that provides a new solution to the public to provide warnings to avoid fires, vehicles are not left in closed garages for too long so that things don't happen. dangerous things and to increase garage efficiency. This research uses experimental and quantitative methods, which are the methods used to design a system. With this system, garages will avoid theft and fires to quickly apply sensor advances in various situations, with a focus on vehicles that stay too long in the garage and smartphone-enabled garages, which is an important problem in many homes. Utilizes Packet Tracer simulation, emphasizing factors such as placement, sensitivity settings, and effective use. This article provides valuable insight into potential opportunities for future research and innovation in the field of smoke detection. This research highlights the importance of proper use and maintenance in maximizing the capabilities of smoke detectors.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has significantly impacted various aspects of life, especially social media. Social media platforms are not only used for interaction but also for building branding through content uploads. However, this raises concerns about unauthorized use of content that violates Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Digital watermarking using steganography, specifically the Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique, can protect content by hiding messages without degrading visual quality. This study tests the insertion of text into digital images using two sample logos of different sizes. The test results show Mean Square Error values ranging from 1.8 to 2 and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio values between 94.9 and 95.3, indicating excellent visual quality and almost imperceptible differences. This technique effectively protects content from unauthorized use.
