Abstract

Cryptocurrency wallets serve as digital repositories for securing various digital assets. The security of these wallets is often bolstered by the utilization of seed phrases, which act as a primary means of access and recovery. This research delves into the examination of wallet security, specifically focusing on assessing the resilience against brute force attacks. Brute force methods entail systematically attempting numerous combinations to crack the seed phrase and gain unauthorized access to the wallet contents. Through meticulous experimentation and analysis, this study aims to provide insights into the effectiveness of seed phrase-based security mechanisms in thwarting brute force intrusion attempts. By evaluating different wallet implementations and their susceptibility to brute force attacks, this research contributes to enhancing the robustness of cryptocurrency wallet security measures

Abstract

The rising global concern over mental health disorders necessitates accessible and quality mental health services. In Indonesia, where 6.1% of the population aged 15 and above experience such disorders, addressing the increasing prevalence becomes imperative. However, barriers like resource scarcity, limited geographic access, and social stigma hinder individuals from accessing professional help. More than 80% of affected individuals lack access to quality, affordable mental health services. In response, the mobile application "MindEase" emerges as an innovative solution, integrating consultation, assessment, education, and training in one platform. Designed to alleviate stress and anxiety, MindEase aims to provide users with a comfortable environment for managing their mental health. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG #3 and #10, MindEase contributes to promoting better mental health and reducing healthcare disparities. Using the design thinking method, the UI/UX of MindEase was developed, resulting in satisfactory usability, as indicated by a System Usability Scale score of 82.8125. However, future research should involve mental health professionals for more comprehensive evaluations.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented major challenges to global productivity, especially for office workers who have switched to Work from Home (WFH). This research focuses on developing the "Notelife" application using a design thought approach to overcome these productivity challenges. The design thinking method is applied through five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The Empathize stage involved interviews with five office workers to understand their management activity needs. The Define stage produces user personas and pain points based on interview results. The Ideate stage creates solution ideas, and the Prototype stage produces the "Notelife" application design including task, file, and time management features. Testing was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) on 20 respondents, and the Notelife application achieved an average SUS value of 82,625, exceeding the average value of 68 for system usability. In conclusion, the design thought approach succeeded in producing a Notelife application design that suits user needs and provides a positive user experience in managing daily activities.

Abstract

The level of reading interest among Indonesian people will be 66.7 points in 2023. Increasingly advanced technological developments have led to an increase in the use of digital media, including reading practices which now tend to be digital. Previous research has involved the use of design thinking in creating solutions from a process of empathy for a particular human-centered need. So the design thinking method was used in designing the "LiteraLink" application. Before starting a series of steps in design thinking, it is important to first determine the target user in accordance with the objectives of this application. The results of the interface design test using SUS are shown in Table 2 and produced a score of 80 16. Based on the SUS assessment indicators, the score is categorized as grade B or excellent so that the results of this interface design are acceptable. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the design thinking method in designing the interface of the digital reading application in the 'LiteraLink' application is successful implemented so that this application is considered good and has the potential to increase interest in reading and support literacy among the community, especially children and teenagers.

Abstract

In the face of escalating security challenges in the advanced digital era, the exchange and storage of video files have become integral to daily life, impacting everything from business communication to personal entertainment. While the internet facilitates easy access to multimedia content, it also brings heightened risks of data theft and privacy breaches. Cryptography offers a solution by encrypting sensitive data. This research employs two encryption algorithms, Salsa20 and RSA, to protect video files. Salsa20 ensures fast and secure encryption, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality. RSA facilitates secure key exchange, limiting access to authorized recipients. The combined use of these algorithms effectively secures video files, guarding against data theft and privacy breaches. This offline encryption system offers flexible accessibility without compromising security. Additionally, it preserves the original file extension, adding an extra layer of protection, while decryption enables seamless access and playback of video content.

Abstract

One important component for the sustainability of living organisms is the availability of clean air. Air pollution has detrimental repercussions such as deteriorating air quality, which can have harmful impacts on the environment. As a result, modeling and monitoring air quality are essential steps in reducing air pollution, and the Air Quality Index allows for the review of this monitoring. This study's objective is to apply the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor method in classifying urban Air Quality Index data from various countries. The "World Air Quality Index by City and Coordinates" Kaggle website provided the data that were used. The data were then processed and tested using the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor model, this builds on the K-Nearest Neighbor technique. 16,695 data in total were divided into 80% training data (13,356 data) and 20% testing data (3,339 data) in order to conduct testing. Evaluation was performed by comparing the performance of the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor method with the traditional K-Nearest Neighbor method. The Modified K-Nearest Neighbor approach with K=1 produced an accuracy rate of 99.73% during testing, whereas the K-Nearest Neighbor method produced an accuracy rate of 99.64%. Using the K-Fold Cross Validation, K-Nearest Neighbor method perfrom highest mean score of 99,04% and Modified K-Nearest Neighbor perform highest mean score of 99,46%.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the quality of images in video streaming systems by utilizing image compression techniques. Although image compression techniques have become standard in reducing image file sizes, they often result in significant quality degradation. In the context of video streaming systems, where image quality is paramount, this challenge becomes increasingly prominent. Therefore, in this study, we propose an approach that integrates image compression techniques with detail recovery methods to improve the quality of images transmitted through video streaming systems. Experiments were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in enhancing image quality, with results showing a significant improvement compared to conventional approaches.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital era has led to an increase in online music platforms and music users. However, this abundance of choices has resulted in information overload, making it challenging for users to find their favorite music easily. Thus, the aim of this study was to propose an effective music recommendation method that considers user attributes, music genres, and temporal dynamics. The research utilized a collaborative filtering approach, leveraging user data and music preferences to generate relevant recommendations. Thus, the proposed method aimed to address the issue of information overload and provide more personalized and accurate music recommendations. The results of the recommendation experiments demonstrated the positive effects of integrating these three perspectives. The recommendations generated from this approach were able to assist users in finding their preferred music more conveniently, thereby enhancing user satisfaction with online music platforms.

Abstract

Sleep is an essential basic need for human health and well-being. However, in the midst of a busy modern lifestyle, achieving ideal sleep becomes a challenge due to several factors. Consequently, lack of sleep can cause a negative impact on both physical and mental health. Based on these problems, this research aims to design the sleep management application "Somnia" using the prototype method. The application design is then evaluated using the System Usability Scale method. The evaluation results show that the average value of user satisfaction reaches 85.5, indicating that the design results is considered acceptable, with the adjective category being excellent, and received grade A. It was concluded, the design of the Somnia application is believed to have met user needs.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, getting a passport has become an essential requirement as an official document for international travel. The Directorate General of Immigration introduced M-Paspor, a new application with more than 1 million downloads and 29 thousand reviews on the Google Play Store. This research aims to analyze the sentiments of Indonesian people using the MPaspor application using the Support Vector Machine and TF-IDF methods for weighting, as well as evaluating the model with K-fold Cross Validation in Google Colab with the Python programming language. The SVM method was chosen because of its ability to achieve high classification accuracy, while feature extraction was carried out using the TF-IDF method to determine the weight of the words in the review. The dataset consists of 3,000 review data, with 1,500 negative sentiment review data and 1,500 positive sentiment review data, which underwent a series of preprocessing stages, namely noise removal, case folding, tokenization, normalization, stopwords removal, and stemming. The SVM model used to analyze and get the best combination of parameters C:1, gamma:scale, with the kernel:rbf. Evaluation of the model with K-Fold Cross Validation shows an average accuracy of 83.62%, precision of 84.7%, recall of 83.65%, and F1 score of 83.51%
