Abstract

Bali Province is a rich tourist destination with diverse attractions. One of the well-known regions for tourism in Bali is Badung Regency. The Seminyak area in Badung Regency has experienced rapid development in the tourism and trade sectors. One indicator of this is the increasing number of art shops in the Basangkaja Traditional Village area, which is frequented by tourists. This study aims to analyze the influence of capital, labor, and product variation on the implementation of technology in art shop businesses in the Seminyak area of Badung Regency, and to evaluate the impact of capital, labor, and product variation on the income of art shop businesses through technology implementation. The research sample consists of 99 art shop owners in the Seminyak area of Badung Regency, selected using nonprobability sampling method. Data collection was conducted through observation and structured interviews. Data analysis employed descriptive analysis, path analysis, and Sobel test. Abstract

Coconut is a strategically important commodity in the lives of the Balinese people, playing social, cultural, and economic roles. Its benefits extend beyond the flesh of the fruit, which can be processed into coconut milk, copra, and coconut oil. Every part of the coconut plant has significant advantages. In the Dawan Subdistrict of Klungkung Regency, coconut trees are cultivated for sap extraction. The production of brown sugar serves as a processing industry in Klungkung Regency. However, the processing industry sector, as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), experiences fluctuations. The aim of this study was to analyze the combined effects of the number of tapped trees, raw materials, and capital on brown sugar production in Besan Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. This research adopts a quantitative and associative research approach. The study was conducted in Besan Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. The population consisted of all existing brown sugar craftsmen in Besan Village, and a sample of 55 ampel business units was selected as respondents. The analysis technique employed was the Cobb Douglas Production Function analysis. The results indicate that the simultaneous presence of the variables—number of tapped trees, raw materials, and capital—significantly influences brown sugar production. The partial results reveal that the number of tapped trees and raw materials have a positive and significant effect on brown sugar production, whereas capital does not impact brown sugar production. Efficiency analysis shows that the number of tapped trees has reached an efficient level, while raw materials and capital have not yet achieved efficiency. keyword: Production, Brown Sugar, Processing Industry

Abstract

The Denpasar City Government's great support for MSMEs is one of them provided through the Denpasar City Cooperatives and MSMEs Office. The support provided is in the form of providing education and training to MSMEs in Denpasar City. One of the developing Micro Small Medium Enterprises is the Coffee Shop. The aims of this research are to analyze the difference in Coffee Shop income before and after attending education and training (Training) by the Cooperative and MSME Office of Denpasar City, and to find out the perceptions of Coffee Shop business owners towards the provision of education and training (training) by the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs in Denpasar City. The study employed a saturated sampling technique with a sample size of 35 respondents due to the small population size. Data were collected through observations, structured interviews, and in-depth interviews. The data analysis involved the utilization of a comparative test. The findings of the research indicated a notable disparity in the revenue of coffee shops prior to and following their participation in the education and training initiative. This is in line with the purpose of providing education and training, which aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of business owners in managing their coffee businesses. By improving their skills, business owners can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, leading to increased productivity and income. keyword: Education and Training, MSMEs, Coffee Shop, Income
