Abstract

The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative. The research was carried out by finding the weight value for each attribute, then a candidate sorting process was carried out which would determine the optimal alternative, namely the most worthy candidate for scholarship recipients. In creating a Decision Support System for selection of prospective scholarship recipients, the author used the PHP and MySQL programming language as a database. From this research process, a Dynamic Website Engineering was produced, namely a decision support system for the selection of prospective scholarship recipients at STIT Al-Washliyah Binjai which not only can be used with criteria and alternatives at the beginning of the design, but can also be added or deleted at any time if there are changes. high school policy.

Abstract

Research aims to explain the use of virtual private networks (VPN) on the Indonesian Institute of Technology and Business Campus. The research method uses an exploratory method. Data analysis techniques using data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the validity of the data is obtained through triangulation. The research results show the use of VPN on the Indonesian Institute of Technology and Business Campus for network security and data privacy. The Indonesian Institute of Technology and Business campus uses a Mikrotik router operating sistem server for the VPN network. To be able to use Mikrotik as a VPN server, configuration is required which includes IP pool configuration, IP router configuration, PPP configuration, DHCP server configuration, NAT by pass firewall configuration and IP security configuration. When choosing a VPN product, the campus considers the aspects of strong authentication, strong enough encryption, meeting standards, integration with other network services.

Abstract

Village Fund Allocation in Jati Sari Village is a multi-criteria problem which includes quantitative and qualitative factors. Several criteria that influence the selection of Jati Sari Village in the Village Fund Allocation are quantitative and qualitative. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) that utilizes the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine optimal village fund allocation. The focus of the research will be on Jati Sari Village in Padang Tualang District, Langkat Regency. The research method will use a case study approach to explore the specific context of Jati Sari Village. Through a combination of qualitative analysis, based on the description, discussion and analysis carried out in the previous chapters, it can be concluded that in practice, village fund allocation in Jati Sari Village still uses manual methods which are prone to uncertainty and lack of accuracy.

Abstract

The development of technology and industrial automation encourage humans to meet their needs quickly. So that technology was developed to help and ease human work in the future, the automatic door lock system with Arduino Uno-based fingger print is a system created to replace the role of conventional keys. This tool has the ability to detect the correct fingerprint automatically this system is connected to the power supply, namely the adapter, the adapter is connected to the Arduino Uno which has been channeled with all components that have been connected to the pin, such as solenoid door lock, LCD, alarm and relay. Using a single fingerprint sensor, solenoid door lock as unlock, LCD and alarm are useful for Arduino interfaces and microcontrollers as the brain of these systems and programming applications.

Abstract

Village development is still uneven between one hamlet and another, causing services for village development to be somewhat hampered because they still rely on each hamlet head who reports to village officials at the Tandem Hulu I Village office, which results in village services not yet being able to reach aspects of society that can be accessed via the internet. Therefore, a system was built that could help Tandem Hulu I Village regarding monitoring development, facilities and infrastructure, development locations and development proposals. The results of this research apply an information system in the form of a website using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. This system was built using the Codeigniter framework. The system development method used is Web Engineering.

Abstract

Population Information System in terms of managing Population Data based on age classification. Paya Bengkuang Village currently has an information system that is still in manual form, which slows down the process of searching, adding, changing or deleting population data. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out research to build a population information system. The aim of this information system is to make it easier for village officials to manipulate population data and inform them in order to provide efficiency in community services. In this implementation, the PHP programming language is used and MySQL is used as the database. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that this website can be used to handle the process of filling in data, changing data, deleting and searching for population data, this system can also provide printed reports of certificates.

Abstract

The vacancy of computer operator staff creates problems such as the delivery of information regarding school administration and activities, which cannot run smoothly. The problems experienced make the school conduct a computer operator recruitment selection to obtain results in accordance with the desired criteria. The computer operator recruitment selection process requires a series of predetermined assessments. The many assessment provisions from the selection process stages, then a decision support system is needed to help the selection process become more effective and efficient. The solution to the problems discussed in this study can be done by building a decision support system using the SMARTER method. The Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Ranks (SMARTER) method is a multi-criteria decision-making method that uses a weighting range between 0 and 1, thus simplifying the calculation and comparison of values ​​for each alternative. Based on previous research, it is said that this method can be used as a decision maker that is easy to learn, in addition to the calculations carried out in this method are very simple when compared to several other methods. The application of the SMARTER method in the decision support system for computer operator recruitment selection is expected to provide benefits in improving the quality and efficiency of the selection process. In addition, the results of this decision support system are expected to ensure that selected candidates have the qualifications that meet the needs. The application of the SMARTER method to the computer operator recruitment selection decided that alternative with code A4 was selected as a computer operator, with a final score of 1.666. Another alternative with code A3 was ranked second and alternative with code A10 was ranked third, both alternatives obtaining the same final score of 1.535.

Abstract

A corporation called PT. BPR NBP 15 Kabanjahe Karo works in banking finance and facilitates borrowing and investing for the general people. Issues occur when the current system is still traditional, making it less efficient for clients to easily and quickly learn about the Bank's payment maturity information. The goal of this study is to put in place a reminder system that will automatically notify PT members when their payments are due. There are fifteen players in the NBA. An SMS gateway may be thought of as a conduit for transmitted and received SMS data flow. According to the tests that have been conducted, the loan date and the payment deadline are entered to determine the installment payment date. Based on this study, it can be clearly determined that PT. BPR NBP 15 Kabanjahe Karo could significantly optimize payment information to consumers by implementing a reminder SMS function. Each client would get timely reminders via SMS based on the installment amount and due date at PT. BPR NBP 15.

Abstract

PT. Aquafarm Nusantara, is a government solution to improve the welfare and economic equality of the community through the development of capital access and capacity building programs. To support the growth of those who want to start a business or who have started a business, thereby improving their business. The SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) method is one of the methods used to solve multi-criteria decision-making problems. This method is used to solve problems in choosing the best alternative from several existing alternatives, using several given criteria. Based on the explanation of the problem above, a decision support system was built with the SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) method. To overcome problems related to determining whether assistance can meet the requirements to help prospective assistance, it is possible to analyze the process that plays a determining role in selecting assistance at PT. Aquafarm using the SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) method. From the results of the study, it was found that alternative A1 was said to be feasible with a value of 0.7.

Abstract

The development of network technology has shifted from cables to Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN), allowing devices to connect and access the internet without cables, providing more flexibility. Internet use extends to various sectors, such as governments, companies and schools, making activities easier. However, unwise use of the internet can cause negative impacts, such as accessing irrelevant sites or logging into illegal servers, which compromise network security and performance, such as on Adam Net.
