Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa ditinjau dari perbedaan gender di kelas VIII-A SMP N 1 Kuta Buluh; (2) perbedaan secara signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa ditinjau dari perbedaan gender di kelas VIII-A SMP N 1 Kuta Buluh. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP N 1 Kuta Buluh tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 28 orang siswa, Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VIII-A SMP N 1 Kuta Buluh di tinjau dari perbedaan gender menunjukkan, siswa perempuan lebih unggul, lebih baik dibandingkan siswa laki-laki. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa gender perempuan (tinggi, sedang dan rendah) lebih baik dari siswa gender laki-laki (tinggi,sedang dan rendah). Hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari rata-rata persentase kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa laki-laki tahap memahami masalah yaitu 41,67 %, tahap menyusun rencana pemecahan masalah yaitu 15,42 %, tahap melaksanakan rencana pemecahan masalah yaitu 25,83 %, dan tahap memeriksa kembali hasil pemecahan masalah yaitu 17,92 %. Sedangkan rata-rata persentase kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa perempuan tahap memahami masalah yaitu 64,29 %, tahap menyusun rencana pemecahan masalah yaitu 27,68 %, tahap melaksanakan rencana pemecahan masalah yaitu 25,89 %, dan tahap memeriksa kembali hasil pemecahan masalah yaitu 20,54 %; (2). Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa laki-laki dan perempuan paling tinggi pada tahap memahami masalah dan menyusun rencanan pemecahan masalah, sedangkan pada tahap melaksanakan rencana pemecahan masalah dan memeriksa kembali hasil pemecahan masalah tidak terlalu terlihat.

Abstract

The problem of hot air temperature can disrupt indoor comfort and energy efficiency. The use of AC as a solution to cool the room is often not optimal, with problems such as AC remaining on when the room is empty and arbitrary temperature settings, which can accelerate device damage. To overcome this problem, this study proposes the development of an AC control and monitoring system that utilizes the Fuzzy Mamdani method based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The Fuzzy Mamdani method was chosen because of its ability to handle uncertainty and variability in temperature settings, while IoT allows the system to monitor and control the AC in real-time via the internet. The proposed system is designed to monitor the condition of the AC, automatically adjust the temperature based on actual needs, and provide information for corrective action if necessary. With this system, it is expected that the use of AC can be optimized, energy efficiency increased, and the service life of the AC can be extended. This study shows the importance of implementing a Fuzzy Mamdani and IoT-based control system to overcome the suboptimal use of AC, improve comfort, and reduce energy consumption. The results of this study are expected to make a significant contribution to more efficient AC management in educational environments and can be a model for similar applications in other fields. From the results, the room temperature tested was 25°C with humidity reaching 80%. Based on data processing using the Fuzzy Mamdani method, the results of the decision for the recommended AC temperature were 23.3°C. These results are in accordance with the results of manual testing.

Abstract

The research is based on the importance of a monitoring system for students who study outside the classroom which is very necessary on an ongoing basis, considering that the PT and DPL coordinators must continue to monitor directly or indirectly students who participate in MBKM activities. The problem so far has been the difference between the MBKM plan and the MBKM results, where from the monitoring results, there are several weaknesses in the information and data in the MBKM program, for example, difficulty in knowing the location. This study aims to design a location-based student activity monitoring system to make it easier for PT and DPL coordinators to find out student activities and make assessments based on the history of activities outside the classroom with the MBKM program followed by students. The activity history reported each day will be processed using the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method to find similarities in activities based on the completion time and types of activities carried out by students. The results of the activity history processed with TF-IDF are in the form of reports which will later become supporting information for objective assessment of student learning outcomes. The system design method used in this study is the Web Development Life Cycle (WDLC). The design stages in WDLC start from Planning, Analysis, Design and Development, Testing and Implementation and Maintenance. On the backend side for data management and reporting, a web-based system will be built with the PHP programming language using the YII2 PHP Framework. On the frontend side used by students is a mobile-based application (android) which will be built using the Ionic Framework. Data storage media uses MariaDB. The results of this study are a system that allows for monitoring students who study outside the classroom, especially students who participate in MBKM activities based on the history of activities reported at any time. Given the rapid development of technology and information today, the author suggests that it is necessary to develop the system, especially in terms of user interface, system availability in the form of applications (Android and iOS), and also increasing security, especially in terms of reading the location of student activities. The results of the test with the query Introduction to the environment, a visit to the village head's office to discuss future work programs obtained the results of the similarity level in Salsabilah Yahnun Fadila (21040203) which is 1%, Juliana Br Harianja (21040210) which is 0.7164%, Agung Dermansyah Nainggolan (21040257) which is 0.5978%, Lisman Buulolo (22090041) which is 0.4004% and Irwan Jaya Bawamenewi (21100251) which is 0.3645%. The time needed for this classification is 2.2471 minutes. For testing with the query Participating in community service activities/mutual cooperation, the results of the similarity level in Kristina Tutiniwati Ndruru (21100187) were 0.6111%, Alviusman Harita (21040253) was 0.5593%, Friska Sariaman Manalu (22070012) was 0.4735%. The time required for this classification was 1.2344 minutes.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a system that facilitates monitoring activities of students undergoing internships, with a case study on student internship activities at the Indonesian Institute of Technology and Business (ITB Indonesia). The system development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), with four structured and interdependent stages in each phase, namely Requirements planning, User Design, Construction, and Cutover. The outcome of this research is a web-based system with a responsive interface across all devices (smartphones, tablets, and laptops). The system includes features for student location-based attendance, student activity reporting at internship sites, student guidance processes with supervising mentors, as well as monitoring the guidance process of students and supervising mentors conducted by the head of the study program.

Abstract

Abstract: In Kwala Begumit village, there are health centers, health clinics, and pharmacies, and the average health institution already has a computer-based information system. But there is one thing that is lacking, namely the unavailability of a mobile-based information system that integrates all health institutions in Kwala Begumit village, so it is not easy for the people of Kwala Begumit village to get integrated information from the room or doctor's practice schedule in Kwala Begumit village. Information on patient data, patient visits, Medical Records, drug data, drug procurement, drug enforcement, doctor data, and queues, can be done easily and in a relatively short time with this application, puskesmas Kwala Begumit can improve the quality of health services to the community. The application also overcomes the problem of adding data identical to the accumulation of papers and adding space for files. Abstract

The Community Complaint Information System in Jentera Stabat Village is a system built to facilitate the community in filing complaints regarding issues that occur in the village. This system is designed with the aim of improving public services and expediting the resolution of problems faced by the community. The system is equipped with features such as online complaint form filling, monitoring of complaint status, and notifications to relevant parties. The use of this system is expected to enhance transparency and accountability of the village government in handling community complaints. In its development, the system involves various stakeholders such as the community, village government, and system developers. Abstract

This study aims to develop a student grade conversion information system for off-campus learning programs at ITB Indonesia. The system integrates with the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) to automate and synchronize grade conversion from off-campus activities. It was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which prioritizes speed and user involvement. The grade conversion process is based on seven assessment components used during off-campus learning activities: activity planning (perencanaan kegiatan), implementation and outcomes (pelaksanaan dan hasil kegiatan), activity reporting (pelaporan kegiatan), personality and social aspects (aspek kepribadian dan sosial), student self-assessment (penilaian diri mahasiswa), peer assessment (penilaian sejawat), and assessment by field supervisors, local authorities, or receiving lecturers at partner institutions (penilaian dari guru pamong, supervisor, aparat desa, atau dosen penerima di perguruan tinggi tujuan). These components are processed and mapped into final scores grouped under academic and non-academic courses, taking into account their relevance to the Program Learning Outcomes (CPL) and Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK). The system provides a real-time dashboard for both students and academic supervisors to monitor the status of grade submission, conversion processes, and final results in a transparent and structured manner.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa sosialisasi tentang pentingnya menjaga keamanan data menggunakan Teknologi Informasi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu para masyarakat di Kantor Camat Batang Serangan agar memproleh informasi tentang kemajuan Teknologi Informasi dan bagaimana cara menjaga keamanan data agar tidak mudah dicuri dan dimanfaatkan oleh oknum-oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Subjek pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat beserta perangkat yang ada di Kantor Camat Batang Serangan. Metode dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa sosialisasi yang dilakukan dengan pemberian informasi manfaat dan peran Teknologi Informasi dalam menjaga keamanan data dan cara pencegahan dalam menghadapi pencurian data seiring perkembangan Teknologi Informasi dimasa sekarang ini. Hasil dari kegiatan kepada masyarakat terlihat bahwa masih banyak masyarakat saat ini yang belum peka terhadap bahaya dari penyalahgunaan data dan infromasi, sehingga dengan adanya sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat mendapatkan bekal pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai langkah preventif awal dalam mengamankan data dan informasi mereka tentunya dapat mengurangi kecemasan dalam melakukan akses internet khususnya dalam upaya mencari dan melakukan eksplor terhadap pengetahuan yang lebih luas. Berdasarkan dengan survey yang telah dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah proses pengadian didapatkan peningkatan pemahaman terhadap keamanan data tersebut dimana sebelum dilakukan pengabdian pemahaman masyarakat sebesar 75% dan setelah dilakukan sosialisasi pengetahuan meningkatn sebesar 83%. Terjadi peningkatan sebesar 8% yang menandakan bahwasannya sosialisasi berhasil dilakukan.

Abstract

In the digital era and increasingly rapid automation, technological innovation continues to penetrate various aspects of life, including household work. One household task that is often considered boring and time-consuming is folding clothes. Even though it looks simple, this activity can be a burden, especially in the context of modern society, where time is limited. The main feature of this system is its ability to fold clothes with three different folding modes. This provides the flexibility to handle different types of clothing or different fold preferences. The folding mechanism is implemented using a Tower Pro MG995 servo motor, which is programmed to move precisely using the Servo library. The design of an automatic system for folding clothes in three different modes is to build a tool that will use the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller as a control center that coordinates all system operations. Abstract

Village development is still uneven between one hamlet and another, causing services for village development to be somewhat hampered because they still rely on each hamlet head who reports to village officials at the Tandem Hulu I Village office, which results in village services not yet being able to reach aspects of society that can be accessed via the internet. Therefore, a system was built that could help Tandem Hulu I Village regarding monitoring development, facilities and infrastructure, development locations and development proposals. The results of this research apply an information system in the form of a website using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. This system was built using the Codeigniter framework. The system development method used is Web Engineering.
