Abstract

Research on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in finance has been growing significantly alongside its increasing implementation in the financial sector. This development raises questions about the specific financial areas and AI technology applications that are most frequently explored as research topics within AI in finance. This study aims to address these questions by employing a systematic literature review (SLR) method, analyzing journal articles indexed in Scopus (Q1–Q4) and published between 2020 and 2024. A search conducted using Publish or Perish on the Scopus database identified 496 records, which were subsequently filtered to 94 articles using the PRISMA protocol. The selected articles were examined through bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer, followed by content analysis. The findings reveal that fintech and risk management are the most frequently discussed financial areas in AI in finance research. Moreover, machine learning emerges as the most commonly addressed AI technology application in this domain. Notably, the combination of machine learning and risk management stands out as the most prominent research topic.

Abstract

Variations of processing rice into cooked rice had long been developed. One of the rice products that has been widely circulated in the community is savory rice. Savory rice with instant processing was more practical in serving. This research aimed to determine the physical, chemical, functional, and sensory characteristics of instant savory rice compared to instant white rice. The stages of processing instant savory rice include washing, soaking, cooking, freezing, and drying. The freezing process was carried out at -20 °C for 24 h. The drying process for instant savory rice uses a fluidized bed dryer for 3 h. Instant white rice was used as a control. Instant savory rice contains moisture content (8.48%), ash content (3.93%), fat content (5.56%), protein content (7.54%), and starch digestibility (54.84%) which was higher than instant white rice. Instant savory rice has carbohydrate content (82.97%), amylose content (32.39%), amylopectin content (46.59%), starch content (79.98%), and resistant starch content (1.90%) lower than instant white rice. In terms of sensory test results revealed that instant savory rice after rehydration was preferred by consumers compared to instant white rice regarding color, aroma, taste, texture, and overall with a score of 5.39-5.84.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the partnership pattern of farmers with cassava processing companies, the influence of production factors (seed area, labor and fertilizer) and farmer income analysis, to determine the feasibility of farming. The partnership pattern carried out between farmers/landowners and UD. Kreasi Lutvi is structured in a cooperation contract, where the partner UD. Kreasi Lutvi is responsible for cassava cultivation, providing production facilities ranging from seeds, herbicides, fertilizers, agricultural tools and labor and buying cassava harvests at an agreed price. Farmers provide land and supervisors in cassava cultivation activities until harvest. The feasibility analysis of the cassava business is as follows: production costs incurred per ha of Rp 14,500,000.00, - the amount of cassava production per ha is 23,405, - kg, selling price Rp. 1,450,-/kg, total revenue of Rp 33,937,250,-/ha and income of Rp.19,437,250.00,-./ha The R/C value is 2.34. This shows that the cassava business in the Glugur Rimbun land is feasible to be pursued

Abstract

This study examines the social impact of the virtual reality (VR) documentary Alverno, which explores the historical and emotional spaces of the Alverno Leprosy Hospital in Singkawang, Indonesia. Through a focus group discussion (FGD) with postgraduate students and academics at Institut Kesenian Jakarta, this research analyzes the effectiveness of narratology and ludology in creating immersive experiences that evoke caring and awareness about the social isolation of leprosy patients. Findings indicate that VR’s first-person storytelling and spatial audio design foster a strong sense of presence, enhancing emotional connections to marginalized histories. However, challenges in contextual understanding highlight the need for supplementary narrative elements. The study underscores VR’s potential as a tool for social education and cultural preservation, particularly in addressing stigma and forgotten histories, while identifying areas for technical and narrative improvement.

Abstract

Previous studies have shown that the use of bamboo in building construction, which has a significant impact on the earth and the future of humanity, such as reducing the carbon footprint in construction waste. However, there is still potential for further development in optimizing the use of bamboo from various aspects of building construction. This study aims to continue previous research by focusing on efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of bamboo use, while also expanding our understanding of its positive impacts on the environment. The research method used involves an in-depth literature review to understand the latest developments in technology and practices of bamboo use in building construction. In addition, conducting data analysis from various construction projects that have used bamboo as the main material or structural component. This analysis aims to identify patterns of success and obstacles faced in the application of bamboo in different construction contexts. To validate these findings, a series of field trials were also conducted to test the practical application of the proposed strategies and techniques. These field trials were conducted by several studies at various construction sites representing diverse geographic and climatic conditions. The data collected from these field trials provide valuable insights into the performance of bamboo in real-world situations, as well as providing direct input from relevant stakeholders

Abstract

The creation of this digital design was inspired by the story of the struggle of R.A. Kartini, a female figure who pioneered women's emancipation in Indonesia. Through a visual approach that combines the style of wayang beber with modern digital design techniques, this work presents a harmony between tradition and innovation. Wayang beber, as one of Indonesia's traditional performing arts, is known for its rich symbolism and narrative power. These values are the main source of inspiration in designing a work that is not only aesthetic, but also full of meaning.By utilizing digital illustration techniques and image manipulation, this design presents distinctive patterns, strong color palettes, and dynamic visual compositions. This visual style not only strengthens the artistic aspect, but also represents the social and cultural values fought for by Kartini—such as equality, education, and freedom of thought for women.

Abstract

Corn (Zea mays L) as a Strategic Agricultural Commodity in Sikka Regency: Income and Feasibility AnalysisCorn (Zea mays L) is one of Indonesia’s national commodities, significantly contributing to state revenue and employment opportunities. The demand for corn is projected to continue increasing, making it a potentially profitable commodity in the future.Corn is considered oneof leading agricultural commodities in Sikka Regency, cultivated both in paddy fields and drylands during the rainy season. Farmers believe that growing corn is more profitable than other crops, making it a highly attractive option for cultivation. The purpose of this extension activity is to provide farmers with an understanding of how to analyze income and the feasibility of corn farming in Sikka Regency. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative analysis. The study was conducted in one village, namely Bhera Village, located in Mego Subdistrict, Sikka Regency. This village was chosen based on the consideration that it has a significant number of corn farmers. The research results show that corn farming in Bhera Village, particularly in the Rate Wa farmer group, generates an income of IDR 21,000,000 per hectare per planting season. This farming activity is considered feasible because it has an R/C ratio of 1.45, which is greater than 1, indicating that for every IDR 1 spent, the return is IDR 1.45. Therefore, corn farming in this area is profitable and feasible to pursue.
