This study examines the role of Christology as a foundational theological framework in the development of a Christian education curriculum aimed at the holistic transformation of learners. The research focuses on the dynamics of curriculum design, its structural underpinnings, and the selection of content that harmoniously integrates faith, knowledge, and socio-cultural context. Employing a systematic literature review methodology, the study critically analyses relevant theories and practices within curriculum theology. The findings reveal that Christology functions as the central axis for integrating faith and learning, thereby fostering a curriculum that is both adaptive and meaningful. These results underscore the imperative of maintaining a balance between theological values and academic advancement within Christian education. The originality of this research lies in its comprehensive synthesis of Christological perspectives with the transformational dimensions of curriculum development, an area seldom explored in depth within Christian educational discourse.

This article aims to question and critically examine the notion of truth within advertising language as disseminated through mass media, by employing an epistemological framework. In the current era of rapid information flow, advertising language tends to deliver messages that are persuasive and, at times, manipulative, thereby raising essential epistemic concerns regarding the extent to which such language conveys truth. The study adopts a qualitative approach through library research, involving the collection and analysis of written sources such as books, scholarly journals, and academic articles discussing theories of truth in epistemology—including coherence, correspondence, pragmatism, and consensus—alongside studies on advertising discourse and mass media. The primary focus lies in exploring how these epistemological theories can be applied to evaluate the truth-claims embedded in advertising language and to assess their influence on the public's knowledge construction and behavioral responses. The significance of this study is particularly relevant for families and young people, urging them to engage more critically and reflectively with advertising messages encountered in everyday life. In doing so, this article contributes to the development of epistemological awareness in relation to advertising language within the context of contemporary social life.

Christian education rests on the principle that all learning should be God-centred and directed to glorify Him. In the context of today's pluralistic society and digital age, Christian education faces major challenges such as globalisation, moral degradation and secularisation. This article offers theological and historical reflections on education in the life of the church, tracing its roots in the Bible and church history from the time of the apostles to the Protestant Reformation. Christian education not only transfers knowledge, but also shapes learners' character and faith through a holistic approach that involves spiritual, intellectual and social aspects. Through a qualitative-descriptive method with an integrative approach between educational theology and church historiography, this article emphasises the importance of contextual, missionary and discipleship-based Christian education. By living the educational heritage of the church, Christian education today is called to be light and salt in the midst of a culture of materialism and relativism. The curriculum of Christian education needs to be transformed by making Christ the centre, and building transformative relationships between teachers and students. Thus, Christian education is able to answer the challenges of modern times without losing the identity and integrity of faith.

In The leadership crisis marked by declining moral and ethical integrity in various sectors of life encourages the need for an educational approach that is able to shape future leaders with character and ethics. This study aims to examine in depth the contribution of Christian Religious Education (CRE) in the formation of character and leadership ethics through a qualitative approach based on library research. Data sources were obtained from primary and secondary literature in the form of scientific journals, theological books, and relevant previous research results. The results of the study indicate that Biblical values such as love, justice, humility, and integrity have an important role in shaping transformative Christian leadership. The novelty of this study lies in the interdisciplinary approach that integrates theological, pedagogical, and ethical perspectives in building a contextual and applicable character education model. Therefore, CRE has strategic potential in producing leaders who are not only intellectually capable, but also have a strong moral and spiritual commitment, which is relevant to answering the challenges of leadership in the global and digital era.

Indonesia has a diversity of ethnicities, religions, races and cultures that must be maintained for the sake of unity. Multicultural education is important to instill the value of tolerance and respect for differences. This research focuses on the effectiveness of multicultural education in the Exemplary Teenager program in the Christian Evangelical Church in Minahasa, especially in the Southwest Manado Region. The method used is qualitative with observation and interviews. The results show that there are social interactions that reflect tolerance, but the understanding of multicultural education is still minimal. The program focuses more on faith and moral development without integrated multicultural materials. To improve effectiveness, a curriculum that teaches tolerance, conflict resolution and respect for diversity is needed. Coaches also need training so that they can teach the concept of multiculturalism in more depth. The integration of multicultural education is expected to form Christian teenagers who are strong in faith and have social awareness to coexist in diversity according to God's holistic mission.

Amidst the current of globalization and rapid technological development, the role of youth in church ministry is increasingly receiving attention. Youth are not only seen as the next generation, but as an important part of the church community that has great potential in leading, innovating, and reaching the world contextually. This study aims to examine the calling of youth leadership in church ministry as a spiritual and social responsibility. Through a qualitative approach with a literature analysis method, this study examines the concept of servant leadership rooted in biblical values, as well as the importance of character building, spiritual growth, and providing space for youth to be actively involved. The results of the study indicate that the church needs to foster and entrust strategic roles to youth so that they are able to respond to the challenges of the times with humility and integrity. True leadership is based on the example of Christ who served, loved, and sacrificed. Therefore, the formation of young church leaders must be carried out holistically, sustainably, and contextually.

This study aims to analyze the meaning of spiritual maturity based on John 15:1-8 and its implications for Christian Religious Education, particularly in shaping the faith character of students in theological colleges and churches. The phenomenon of spiritual immaturity within churches and theological education institutions impacts the quality of spirituality and ministry performance. This research employed a qualitative method with an exegetical approach to text of John 15:1-8, supported by a literature review from accredited theological journals published in the last ten years. The novelty of this study lies in constructing a spiritual formation model based on the concepts of abiding in Christ (menō), divine spiritual pruning (kathairō), and the fruit of faith (karpos) as indicators of spiritual maturity. The findings show that an existential, active relationship with Christ, accompanied by spiritual disciplines and character purification, is essential for effective faith development. These results are implemented through exegetical-based discipleship curricula, prayer communities, periodic spiritual evaluations, and faith-purification retreats in theological education and local churches. This study contributes practically to the development of relational spirituality-based Christian Religious Education in Indonesia.

This study aims to reveal the meaning of Batak women's spirituality (ina partataring) through the practice of martangiang (prayer) performed in the kitchen as a hidden yet meaningful form of domestic worship. The research addresses the questions of how such domestic prayers reflect spiritual strength in the face of life’s limitations and how the kitchen is positioned as a sacred space in Batak culture. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, this study explores the religious experiences of mothers through in-depth interviews and literature analysis on Batak culture and contextual theology. The findings show that the spirituality of Batak women does not depend on formal liturgical expressions, but is manifested in silence, sacrifice, and resilience within domestic spaces. The novelty of this research lies in its reinterpretation of the kitchen as a locus theologicus, or theological space, for Batak women—an aspect often overlooked in theological studies. This research offers a new discourse on contextual theology that centers women's spiritual experiences and broadens the understanding of faith practices in nonformal settings.

This article aims to critically examine how ecotheology can be integrated into Christian Religious Education (CRE) learning in order to foster ecological awareness of the younger generation. The main problems raised are the low integration of ecological values in Christian education and the weak response of faith to the environmental crisis. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods, through analysis of relevant theological and pedagogical literature. The novelty of this study lies in the development of ecotheology as a pedagogical framework based on faith reflection, contextual experience, and real action in the classroom. The results of the study show that an active and transformative ecotheological learning model is able to shape the ecological character of students and strengthen spirituality that is responsible for creation. CRE teachers, schools, and churches have a strategic role in shaping a culture of faith that cares about the environment as part of a relevant and contextual Christian testimony.
